Aplica o da Medida de Independência Funcional na prática do autocuidado em uma unidade de interna o geriátrica

Abstract: Objetivo: Descrever o perfil de idosos internados em uma unidade de interna o geriátrica de acordo com a sua funcionalidade e sua dependência no auto cuidado e avaliar sua evolu o quanto a esses aspectos durante o período de interna o. Método: Os dados sócio-demográficos e clínicos foram coletados por meio do histórico de Enfermagem. O instrumento utilizado para realizar a avalia o da funcionalidade foi a Medida de Independência Funcional (MIF). A amostra foi composta por 31 idosos de idade superior ou igual a 60 anos, que foram avaliados semanalmente, quanto à sua funcionalidade para o auto cuidado, desde a sua admiss o até o momento de sua alta. Resultado: Na avalia o da MIF auto cuidado total houve uma redu o da pontua o entre a 1a (16,57) e 3a (14,29) semana, porém sem significancia estatística (p=0,239). Analisando os itens da MIF separadamente (alimenta o, higiene, banho, uso do vaso sanitário e vestir-se acima e abaixo da cintura) houve redu o da pontua o com significancia estatística na maioria dos itens durante o período de interna o. Conclus o: Houve uma tendência a piora na funcionalidade do idoso com rela o ao auto-cuidado durante o período de interna o hospitalar. Portanto a assistência de enfermagem deve criar condi es que possibilitem o idoso manter e implementar o auto cuidado, para que o mesmo adquira independência e conviva da melhor maneira possível com suas limita es, facilitando desta forma, sua reintrodu o na sociedade e na família.

Abstract: This text is a small adaptation of our Master-degree’s dissertation, which had telework performed in Brazilian homes as its main goal. The research as a whole focused on both sociological and legal analyses of the aspects of telework, regarding flexible work schedules, legislation on distance work, hierarchical relationships, space and time organization of work utilizing telematic means, as well as perceptions of the actors involved with this activity. In this paper, the legal aspects of telework in Brazil will be emphasized.

Abstract: O artigo teve o objetivo de investigar a produ o de subjetividade com base nas atuais tecnologias da informa o, em particular do diário virtual. A fundamenta o teórica da pesquisa levou em conta os enfoques de autores contemporaneos sobre o assunto, apostando numa perspectiva ontogenética, no tocante às rela es homem/técnica. Nesse enfoque, destaca-se um processo de produ o da subjetividade, no qual esta é efeito de conex es heterogêneas que articulam humanos e n o humanos. Assim, a subjetividade é considerada como um dos efeitos da media o técnica. A pesquisa de campo foi realizada com 10 sujeitos de diferentes cidades do Brasil. Para coletar dados, foi utilizado o questionário semi-estruturado. Os resultados indicam que o diário virtual produz novas formas de subjetividade, de amizades e de rela es pessoais.

Abstract: this article analyzes personal religious conversion within the context of family relations in the downscale suburbs of recife, the capital of the state of pernambuco, brazil. it presents the results of a qualitative research study on the meanings of conversion for the members of the family and the ensuing transformations in their reproductive behavior. based on the empirical data above, the article ends with a discussion of issues related to healthcare services in that area, and how the local inhabitants use them.

Abstract: this article aims to raise some aspects related to the formation of teachers in brazil, with emphasis to the inclusion of people with special educational needs in the regular education. for such, we will base ourselves in three references: the national legislation and the specific political guidelines of the education cabinet (mec); the result of researches and the specialized literature over the theme. the text is organized in three parts. first, we deal with the grounding of the formation of teachers established in the official documents. then, we show the results of different researches about the theme. at last, we trace alternatives for the educational inclusion.

Abstract: the importance of recording education experiences of environmental teachers has motivated this research about the performance of a group of teachers and environmental technicians, in a program developed in the state of paraná (1997-2002). the integration of government proposals of ee (environmental education) developed at public schools and communities, had the objective of implementing the environment programs coordinated by the state government, partnered with the cities, at the 1995/1998 and 1999/2002 administrations. for the united action of state secretariats of education and environment and water resources, inter-institutional teams of ee, formed by teachers and environmental technicians, were created. from the perceptions of the two groups of participants on their affective and professional interactions, on conceptual differences and program effectiveness, came the attempt to systematize relevant aspects of this singular process of formation of environmental educators, promoted at the political and administrative spheres, recognizing basic indicatives for the performance of inter-institutional teams and subsidizing the reflection about the formation processes of ee. the united action of teachers and environmental technicians consisted in an experience on the ground of diversity, enabling them to recognize otherness, to exercise the dialog between sciences and practices, to live together with dissent and to search inclusive solutions for the environmental questions - basic principles of ea.

Abstract: this article discusses the role of educators in the process of establishing and implementing learning cycles and continued progression in the city and state public school networks of s?o paulo in four different moments: in the 1967/1968 reform, in the implementation of the literacy basic cycle in 1983/1984, in the creation of the regime of continued progression in 1998 (state public network), and in the adoption of the learning cycles and continued progression in 1992 (city of s?o paulo public network). it is assumed that the realization of public policies in education depends to a large extent upon the participation of their main protagonists - the educators. it is thus important to know how certain factors influence the conceptions and the actions of educators with respect to learning cycles and continued progression. we seek to understand how these factors interact to determine the conception, very common among educators, that learning cycles and continued progression are important for the democratization of schooling and learning, but that the material and institutional/pedagogical conditions to implement them are lacking. in that way, they contribute to deteriorate even further the quality of teaching. the goal here is to help clarifying one of the controversies surrounding learning cycles and continued progression: the resistance of educators in accepting and implementing this educational proposal.

Abstract: in this article we discuss the implementation of the right to education and the form of organization of teaching in the perspective of democratizing it. the assumption here is that the use of cycles and of continued progression can be a way of organizing teaching to help and build an educational process capable of including everyone, and of offering them real conditions for learning. however, if teaching organized in cycles and continued progression is to contribute to fulfill the demands of an universal school, it is necessary that, alongside the breaking away with seriated educational practices, which are fragmented and marred by student failure, there comes the discussion of a conception of education that takes into account the appropriation of culture in a wider sense of the word. this implies a change of paradigm involving the fields of educational theory, politics and practice. this is an important discussion because, although during the last thirty years several educational proposals have questioned student failure, it remains present in the educators' idea of school education. therefore, in order of overcome school failure it is essential to seek in the fundamentals of a continuous education process the concepts and practices that dissolve the promotion/retention dichotomy. under this perspective, cycles and continued progression need to be understood as part of a wider educational policy for the construction of the social quality of a school for everyone.

Abstract: this theoretical study examines the male's unconfortable position in the contemporary world since freud and lacan's theory. it is associated with an identity crisis due to the representations, based on the oedipus context and on an idealization of paternal function, with which the social imaginary defines virility. discussing the implications of the decline of the father in the formation of masculinity, it shows how changes in the conceptions on the father, thought no more according to a tradition but on his ability to cope with the desire for a woman, have consequences on the construction of a male son position.
