“Kunstlehre” and Applied Phenomenology  [PDF]

Abstract: This article attempts to clarify the ambiguity or double sense of “Kunstlehre” by Husserl and Gadamer, and emphasizes “Kunstlehre” as pure science that originated in Aristotle’s evaluation of theoría, and as fine art, or as the nature or quasi-nature of “as if”, according to Kant’s idea. Aristotle’s concept of phrónesis will be also regarded as a kind of natural “as if”, and considered as “Kunstlehre”. Gadamer’s philosophical hermeneutics makes a high level or deep theoretical reflection on the “Kunst” of understanding. He founds his hermeneutics under phrónesis, which will be discussed in detail. Regarding the application of “Kunstlehre” to a practical research, this article shows a contribution by Hersch, and explains how phrónesis is actualized in a case study by him. In the end, “Kunstslehre” will be pointed out as a process of exercise with time whereby Sensus communis functions as a principle (arché) of Gadamer’s hermeneutics, and makes the process of the formation of phrónesis possible

Abstract: In the title compound, C19H21NO3, the dihedral angle between the mean planes of the two benzene rings is 38.13 (12)°. The furan ring adopts an envelope-like conformation with the C atom bonded to the dimethyl groups displaced by 0.356 (2) from the plane through the other four atoms. In the crystal, molecules are linked into inversion dimers by weak C—H...O intermolecular interactions.
Immobilization of Lactate Oxidase Within a Hybrid Mesoporous Membrane

Abstract: The hybrid mesoporous membrane was prepared by using Pluronic F127((PEO)106(PRO)70(PEO)106)as a structure-directing agent. Columnar mesoporoussilica was formed inside the anodic aluminium membrane (AAM) pores and had a length of ca. (50±2)um. Nano-fiber with the diameters of the pores being about 12 nm was aligned along the long axis of the AAM pore walls. The lactate oxidase (LOD)encapsulation was done by covalent attachment on the inner wall of the silica mesopores. After removing of Pluronic F127 inside the silica mesopores by calcination, the 3-aminopropylethoxysilane (APTMS) was immobilized on the inner pore surface. Then, the LOD was covalently attached via a linker of glutaraldehyde(GA) and the LOD-M was obtained. The resulting LOD-M was applied for conversion of lactic acid to pyuvic acid. The LOD-M can be used for conversion of lactic acid by using a conventional? ltration apparatus. The proposed scheme allows conversion of lactic acid without separation of the mesoporous silica host from the reaction media. We compared the morphology of the mesoporous material after imobilization of enzyme by TEM and isotherm. The effect on enzyme activity, such as concentration of L-lacate, flow speeds and storage time, was also tested.

Abstract: The title compound, C20H15N2+·Cl , was prepared by the reaction of benzil with o-phenylenediamine in refluxing ethanol and then crystallized in 5% hydrochloric acid. The two phenyl rings are oriented at dihedral angles of 50.93 (8) and 50.28 (8)° with respect to the quinoxalin-1-ium ring system. The dihedral angle between the two phenyl rings is 56.71 (10)°. In the crystal, the cations and anions are linked by N—H...Cl and C—H...Cl interactions, forming chains along the b axis.
Contrasting patterns of genetic divergence in two sympatric pseudo-metallophytes: Rumex acetosa L. and Commelina communis L.

Abstract: In the present study, patterns of genetic divergence of R. acetosa and C. communis , including metal tolerance, genetic structure and genetic relationships between populations, were investigated and compared using hydroponic experiments, AFLP, ISSR and chloroplast genetic markers. Our results show a significant reduction in genetic diversity in metallicolous populations of C. communis but not in R. acetosa . Moreover, genetic differentiation is less in R. acetosa than in C. communis , the latter species also shows a clustering of its metallicolous populations.We propose that the genetic divergences apparent in R. acetosa and C. communis , and the contrasting responses of the two species to copper contamination, might be attributed to the differences in their intrinsic physiological and ecological properties. No simple and generalised conclusions on genetic divergence in pseudo-metallophytes can thus be drawn.
First-principles study of influence of dopants Fe on the dehydrogenation properties of VH2

Abstract: In this paper, the influence of doping Fe on the electronic structure and the dehydrogenation property of VH2 is investigated by using the plane wave ultrasofi pseudopotential method which is base on the first principles of density functional theory (DFT). The calculated results are as follows: (1)the unit cell volume, the cell parameter, and the alloy formation heat of VH2 gradually decrease with the increase of Fe; (2) the fermi level electron density increases by dopping Fe; (3)the population the and electron density of V-H bond both decrease with doped Fe. These results indicate that the stability is declined and the interaction between V and H atom is weakened by adding Fe into the VH2 system. So it comes to the conclusion that the hydrogen desorption property of VH2 can be improved by adding Fe.

Abstract: In this paper, using the plane waves ultrasoft pseudopotential method which is base on the first principles of DFT, we study the effects of C, Si, Ge, Sn and Pb alloying on the electronic structure and dehydrogenation properties of VH2. The calculated results show that the electron density of Ef fermi level is higher than that of pure VH2 alloy, exhibiting that the structural stability becomes weakened thus the hydrogen desorption property of VH2 can be improved. Moreover, the computed results of electron density of V-H bond also demonstrate that the interaction between V and H atoms decreases, also showing that the hydrogen desorption property of VH2 is improved. At the same time, it is found from the calculated results that the Mulliken population of V-s orbital increases whereas that of V-d orbital decreases, which is related to the enhanced dehydrogenation property alloyed by La, Ce and Pr.

Abstract: We report a case of primary aldosteronism caused by bilateral solitary aldosteronomas occurring 6 months apart, the diagnosis being confirmed by clinical features. Multiple aldos-terone-producing adenomas can be unilateral or bilateral. If bilateral, most of them are found simultaneously. Bilateral solitary aldosterono-mas occurring at separate times are rarely re-ported and the pathogenesis is still elusive. We believe, from this case, the postoperative fol-low-up in patients with primary aldosteronism is mandatory.
