Fenomenología de la espacialidad en el horizonte de la corporalidad
Flores,Luis;
Teología y vida , 2003, DOI: 10.4067/S0049-34492003000200011
Abstract: after descartes' conception about world as res extensa and newton's conception about the distinction between absolute and relative space, the phenomenological movement achieves a new set of concepts for understanding the space in a pre-scientific sense: husserl's notion of corporality (leib), heidegger's notion of dasein's originary spatiality, merleau-ponty's notion of anthropological space, van der leeuw's notion of sacred space. starting from the concept of lived space, we claim that: 1) there is a radical difference between lived space and geometrical space; 2) lived space supports four basic intentionalities: the cognitive, the deontic, the symptomatic and the aesthetic; 3) sacred space is a modality of lived space, in which the intentionalities articulate around the sacred, and more specifically, god

After Descartes' conception about world as res extensa and Newton's conception about the distinction between absolute and relative space, the phenomenological movement achieves a new set of concepts for understanding the space in a pre-scientific sense: Husserl's notion of corporality (Leib), Heidegger's notion of Dasein's originary spatiality, Merleau-Ponty's notion of anthropological space, Van der Leeuw's notion of sacred space.
Variabilidad Espacial del Rendimiento de Uva y Calidad del Mosto en Cuarteles de Vid cv. Cabernet Sauvignon y Chardonnay en Respuesta a la Variabilidad de Algunas Propiedades del Suelo
Flores M.,Luis A.;
Agricultura Técnica , 2005, DOI: 10.4067/S0365-28072005000200011
Abstract: a study of spatial variability in some physical and chemical properties of a soil of the quipato series (ultic palexeralfs) of cauquenes province (coordinates 753.677 e; 6.014.001 n, utm datum wgs84 zona 18), 7th region, chile, was conducted to determine the d6egree of spatial correlation with grape (vitis vinifera l.) yield and must quality variables measured in two blocks of cv. cabernet sauvignon and one block of cv. chardonnay. the sampling method used was a systematic grid with a density of 10 sampling points per hectare. the data were analyzed using geostatistical techniques. a spatial dependency analysis was performed. the spatially correlated variables were grouped via an analysis of factors to later define homogeneous treatment zones through cluster analysis. the results indicated that the sampling intensity used was not sufficient to characterize the spatial variability of grape yield and must quality in the block corresponding to the cv. chardonnay and there was no spatial correlation with the soil properties evaluated. in the two blocks of the cv. cabernet sauvignon, the spatial variability of number of clusters, pruning weight and must ph were characterized, nevertheless, only the number of clusters had a spatial correlation with the evaluated soil properties. the number of samples per hectare necessary to characterize the spatial variability of the soil properties and the grape yield and must quality is site-specific and different for each variable to be evaluated.
Subjetividad y política: consecuencias para el discurso educativo
Flores,Luis; Sobrero,Viviana;
Estudios pedagógicos (Valdivia) , 2011, DOI: 10.4067/S0718-07052011000200019
Abstract: the article proposes an interpretative framework to explore the possible links between educational policies and subjectivities shaping. considering, as building blocks, the contributions of phenomenology and hermeneutics, it is presented a proposal that aims to disrupt dichotomous and reductionist readings of current educational phenomena; restricting the present educational policy to a theme of “administration" and resource management instead of leading to an insight into the strategically issues, purposes and the real meaning of education.
Uso del Material Trióxido Agregado (MTA) en cirugía periapical
Flores Legasa,Luis;
RCOE , 2002, DOI: 10.4321/S1138-123X2002000400007
Abstract: most of the endodontic failures are due to mistakes in cleaning, shaping and tridimensional obturation of the root canal system, so the final consequence is the egress of antigens into the periradicular tissues. with the periapical surgery, consisting of the exposure of the involved apex, radicular resection and preparation of a class i cavity which will be hermetically sealed, we will correct the previous defects. the function of these retrofilling obturations is to prevent percolations from the root canal system to the periradicular tissues. a new material has been recently put on the market, it is known as mta or mineral trioxide aggregate and it fulfils most of the properties of an ideal material.

Size composition and sex ratio of Anadara tuberculosa and Anadara similis in a mangrove reserve from the northwest of Ecuador
Flores,Luis; Licandeo,Roberto;
Revista de biología marina y oceanografía , 2010, DOI: 10.4067/S0718-19572010000300021
Abstract: shell length frequency distribution (slfd) and sex ratio of a subpopulation of the mangrove cockles anadara tuberculosa and anadara similis were analyzed from natural beds in the cayapas-mataje ecological mangrove reserve, ecuador. the slfd was different between sexes for both species; females were larger than males. subpopulations of a. tuberculosa and a. similis were dominated by females throughout the year. the overall sex ratio was 2.6:1 (female: male), although with variations in the monthly samples, from 1.2:1 to 5.9:1 in a. tuberculosa and 1.9:1 to 5.3:1 in a. similis. possibly, these results may be due to differential growth rate between sexes and environmental factors along the year.
SENTIDO Y LIMITES DE LA RACIONALIDAD EN LA QUíMICA
Flores Hernández,Luis;
Revista de filosofía , 2008, DOI: 10.4067/S0718-43602008000100012
Abstract: i restrict myself to chemistry, as a natural empirical science. that one understands the world as a totality of chemical phenomena and it abstracts from these one the chemical objects. i examine the boundaries of chemistry, as structural, cognitive and a priori limits. now then, chemical research takes place as observation-experimentation fields, where chemical observer, scientific language of chemistry, chemical sensors and phenomena interact. therefore, i examine the boundaries of everyone of these factors.
Growth estimation of mangrove cockle Anadara tuberculosa (Mollusca: Bivalvia): application and evaluation of length-based methods
Flores,Luis A;
Revista de Biología Tropical , 2011,
Abstract: growth is one of the key processes in the dynamic of exploited resources, since it provides part of the information required for structured population models. growth of mangrove cockle, anadara tuberculosa was estimated through length-based methods (elefan i y nslca) and using diverse shell length intervals (sli). the variability of l∞, k and phi prime (φ`) estimates and the effect of each sample were quantified by jackknife techniques. results showed the same l∞ estimates from elefan i and nslca across each sli used, and all l∞ were within the expected range. on the contrary, k estimates differed between methods. jackknife estimations uncovered the tendency of elefan i to overestimate k with increases in sli, and allowed the identification of differences in uncertainty (pe and cv) between both methods. the average values of φ`derived from nscla1.5 and length-age sources were similar and corresponded to ranges reported by other authors. estimates of l∞, k and φ` from nscla1.5 were 85.97mm, 0.124/year and 2.953 with jackknife and 86.36mm de l∞, 0.110/year de k and 2.914 de φ` without jackknife, respectively. based on the observed evidence and according to the biology of the species, nscla is suggested to be used with jackknife and a sli of 1.5mm as an ad hoc approach to estimate the growth parameters of mangrove cockle. rev. biol. trop. 59 (1): 159-170. epub 2011 march 01.
