AUTENTICIDADE DO SER-ENFERMEIRO-PROFESSOR NO ENSINO DO CUIDADO DE ENFERMAGEM: UMA HERMENêUTICA HEIDEGGERIANA

Abstract: Estudio cualitativo que objetivó desvelar la autenticidad del ser-enfermero-profesor en la ense anza del cuidado de enfermería. El referencial teórico metodológico utilizado fue el hermenéutico heideggeriano. La estrategia utilizada para colectar los significados fue la entrevista fenomenológica con 11 docentes. La organización y análisis de los datos permitieron desvelarla autenticidad del enfermero-profesor en la ense anza del cuidado, que ha revelado que son auténticos en sus carreras profesionales y, por lo tanto, ense ar y aprender de diferentes maneras, lo que hace una diferencia en la ense anza de los cuidados de enfermería. Cuando se perciben en estado de angustia, buscan tomar otros caminos, asumiendo de esa manera la responsabilidad en ense ar el cuidado. A través de la libertad de opciones en sus caminos, se hacen singulares, revelando así su autentica existencia.
Active methodologies as strategies in nursing teaching: Raising awareness towards healthy habits

Abstract: Objective: To identify how the use of active methodology may influence healthy habits in nursing students. Method: A qualitative Assistential Convergent Research, undertaken with 43 students of the Nursing Graduation Course, at a Federal University in Southern Brazil. Data were collected with a semi-structured tool, from May to July 2008. Data were organized into categories and analysed according to scientific publications in the area. Results: Three study categories raised from the study: Characterization of Nursing Students from the study, Contributions of teaching-learning active methodologies in raising awareness towards healthy habits, and Healthy habits: feeding and physical exercising. They recognize healthy habits and practice it in their routine, it was detected that 16% are overweight, do not exercise regularly, consider their food, leisure, sleeping patterns and self-image to be adequate. Conclusion: The use of active methodologies may unfold new possibilities towards healthy habits practices.

Abstract: qualitative research, convergent assistance (pca), developed with 42 nursing students in a public university in southern brazil. aimed at identifying students' the perceptions of nursing students about the care of you, to promote health and prevent overweight. data collection took place during four meetings, through group dynamics, production of posters, play activities, use of instrument. data analysis followed by pca. categories: physical activity, healthy food, family environment, self-esteem and self-image. results: academics acknowledge the importance of caring for oneself, present knowledge and relate to the theme; realize the care of yourself as a way to maintain weight and / or seek appropriate weight. contributions are to new thinking about the reality of the students, and grants for innovative teaching and learning, awareness of future professionals.

Abstract: En el presente artículo se realiza una reflexión y discusión sobre diversas concepciones del cuidado, su evolución, principios, dimensiones y resultados. Su objetivo es ofrecer una fundamentación teórica y filosófica sobre lo que significa el cuidado de enfermería y hacer contribuciones para futuras investigaciones. Al comienzo de la humanidad el cuidado era empírico, basado en las fuerzas místicas y de la naturaleza; pero con la evolución la forma de expresar el cuidado se fue diferenciando y se convirtió en responsabilidad de profesionales. Las concepciones teórico-filosóficas sobre el cuidado en enfermería han recibido la influencia de otras áreas del conocimiento. Por ese motivo existen varias formas de conceptuar el cuidado. Por causa de esas variaciones conceptuales y debido a la inquietud del profesional con relación al cuidado, surgen cuestionamientos como: qué es el cuidado? El cuidado puede ser realizado por un lego o solamente por un profesional? Qué hacemos cuando el cuidador también necesita de cuidado? Cómo cuidar a alguien que no quiere ser cuidado? Cómo cuidar sin interacción? Qué significa el cuidado profesional? Qué es el cuidado de enfermería? Esos cuestionamientos son discutidos y fundamentados en este estudio. Aunque existan todas esas preguntas, y aunque el cuidado sea visto desde diferentes perspectivas por teóricos y filósofos, continúa siendo la esencia de la enfermería. Es el conductor de las teorías y de la praxis de ellas, y las discusiones y estudios de sus diversas concepciones son necesarias para el desarrollo y perfección de esta ciencia. In this article we reflect and discuss the various care conceptions, their evolution, principles, dimensions and results. Its purpose is to offer a theoretical and philosophic basis on what nursing care means and to contribute to future research. In the beginning of times human care used to be empiric, based on nature's mystic forces; but with the evolution of expression care started to be differentiated and it became the responsibility of professionals. The theoretical-philosophic conceptions of nursing care have been influenced by other knowledge areas. Due to this, there are today several ways of interpreting care. Abstract: this study is aimed at identifying the knowledge of nursing students about the subject area of patient safety and its relationship with the teaching of biosecurity. exploratory qualitative study conducted at the universidade federal de santa catarina (federal university of santa catarina), with 17 students in the third phase of the undergraduate nursing program. three categories emerged after an exhaustive reading of the responses: caring for self and others; biosecurity and care for the environment; biosecurity: health education and continuing education in health services. the following issues were identified: students' concern about risk prevention; care and self care as prerogatives for patient's safety; and education as a proposal for the minimization of risks. the study of biosecurity is considered important in undergraduate studies, minimizing losses and mistakes in the undergraduate students' conduct.

Abstract: objective. to understand the meaning of socializing activities and how they contribute to the learning process of nursing students. methodology. qualitative study, in which 10 students from the federal university of santa catarina (brazil) participated during the year of 2006. data were analyzed using content analysis. results. the following analysis categories emerged from the study: learning moments, integration moments, value reassurance and strengthening of theory and practice links. socializing is an important activity for the students because it allows them to share their knowledge, experiences, and others, which contribute to professional and personal growth being mistakes and accuracies a good way of learning. conclusion. for the students, socializing activities allow integration, interaction, and intersubjectivity in the critic training process committed to reality.

Abstract: objective: this is an integrative review study aimed at analyzing the articles addressing this subject, health vulnerability and nursing, published in national and international journals. methods: the survey was conducted on the following database: medline, cinahl and scielo, covering the period 2004 to 2008, using the descriptors vulnerability, health vulnerability, vulnerable populations associated with the descriptor nursing, being selected 28 articles for analysis. results: the characterization study allowed a brief history describing the concept of vulnerability and extracting their contributions to nursing practice. conclusion: from the several approaches and perspectives of the concept of vulnerability it is important that nurses take ownership of this concept to contribute to the renewal of the care practices giving greater completeness and fairness to the actions in the health care.

Abstract: It was painful to be a journalist and poet with noble aspirations for reform during the reign of Charles IV. in the years immediately preceding, nine well known Spanish poets had already expressed in romantic form their deep anxiety and insecurity regarding the universe in which they dwelt. One of them, Meléndez Valdés, inventor of the Spanish name for romantic cosmic grief, fastidio universal, was Cienfuegos’s poetic mentor and friend. the present article explains how Cienfuegos joined the European and Spanish philosophical and literary traditions that led to the poetic expression of the afflicted romantic mentality, and how he at the same time became an outstanding innovator in this tradition. Era doloroso ser periodista y poeta de nobles aspiraciones reformativas durante el reinado de Carlos IV. Ya en a os inmediatamente anteriores, nueve conocidos poetas espa oles habían expresado en forma romántica su honda angustia e inseguridad ante el universo en que moraban. Uno de éstos, Meléndez Valdés, inventor del nombre espa ol del dolor cósmico romántico, fastidio universal, fue el mentor poético y amigo de Cienfuegos. En el presente artículo se explica cómo Cienfuegos reunió las tradiciones filosóficas y literarias europeas y espa olas que llevaron a la expresión poética de la afligida mentalidad romántica, y cómo llegó al mismo tiempo a ser un destacado innovador en esta tradición.
Processo de trabalho em saúde bucal: em busca de diferentes olhares para compreender e transformar a realidade

Abstract: in 2000, the ministry of health has established financial support and included oral health teams in the family health strategy, which is recognized as an approach to reorganize the primary care services in the brazilian health system. the professionals are inserted in a new context that confronts their conceptions and practices. the aim of this qualitative study was to analyze the working method in oral health at the family health strategy (fhs) in a southern city of brazil. it was performed by semi-structured interviews applied to health professionals in five primary care unities where oral health and family health teams work with a multiprofessional sample of 22 individuals. thematic analysis of categories was used to analyze data which showed five thematic points: inclusion of oral health in fhs, structural aspects of the services, professional concepts about the health-disease process, working method, and improvement strategies. the research contributes to the comprehension of the working method in oral health in fhs and indicates some possible ways to modify practices.
