Problemata : International Journal of Philosophy , 2012, DOI: 10.7443/problemata.v3i1.12160
This exposition emerges as an attempt of explicitation of an enigmatic term, which, in spite of being used only one time within the pages of Being and Time, turns to be loaded with ontological relevance: It is the concept of Zeugding, or “Thing of Use”. This term seems to unify two apparently incompatible planes: the utilitary aspect of beings (beings as artifacts), and the objective aspect (beings as things), each one of them, discovered by a particular approach vision oriented at the world, respectively, Circunspection and Theory. In order to unravel the meaning of that peculiar notion, this investigation will engage in a study of the previously mentioned elemental modes of Comprehension. Our objective will be exploring the frontier-notion of the “Thing of Use” in the context of the principles of Heidegger’s Being and Time with a view to make its content explicit, and finally suggesting an interpretation of that concept as a incipient form of objectification, inherent to the thematising vision of science, which, nonetheless, occurs without the necessity of producing a change in the inmediate mode of acces to the world. Abstract: aking as basis Heidegger’s analysis of fear, as treated in the thertieth paragraph of Sein und Zeit, this investigation proposes to transfer the cathegories discovered by that author to the interpretative study of a literary piece: Le Horla by Guy de Maupassant.Trough this approach, it is intended to specify the factic possibility of forms of fear that are not contemplated in Sein und Zeit’s provissional study, forms triggered by the reading experience, inside the particular field of fanthastic literature. The result will be a first introducction to an hermeneuthics of fear of Heideggerian style, and the identification of types of fear that excede the basic scheme, and urge for a meticulous study
Abstract: The objective of this research is to accompany Heidegger's early considerations about the various meanings of the troublesome term "Truth". We will attempt, in line with the hermeneutic approach, to differentiate the originary meanings of the derivatives, and to offer a clarification of the concept of Logic as a philosophical reflexion about the truthness of truth. With these concepts as a basis, we will move towards the explanation of the derivative nature of the truth of scientific discourse. We will seek to restore the notion of truth to the original sense of discovery, and then justify the foundation of the predicative truth in the hermeneutic truth of existence. In this sense, we propose the Opening of Dasein as condition for all truth, and originary horizon for the emergence of sense. Thus, the truth will be delineated as a fundamental mode of being of the existence.

Mathematics , 1992,
Abstract: We study the action of the diffeomorphism group $\Diff(M)$ on the space of proper immersions $\Imm_{\text{prop}}(M,N)$ by composition from the right. We show that smooth transversal slices exist through each orbit, that the quotient space is Hausdorff and is stratified into smooth manifolds, one for each conjugacy class of isotropy groups.
The Hazards of Misusing the Smart Contract: An AHP Approach to Its Risk  [PDF]

Journal of Information Security (JIS) , 2019, DOI: 10.4236/jis.2019.101002
Abstract: This article explores four critical groups of systematic risk embedded in smart contract employment using the analytic hierarchy process (AHP). The four principal risk analysis groups include: 1) transparency in the light of corporate governance 2) IT security 3) contract management automation and 4) legality. The AHP assists both decision-makers and stakeholders alike in the evaluation process essential for identifying potential technological constraints posed within a permissioned blockchain environment using peer-to-peer format in the absence of digital currency. Based upon critical assessment, the AHP methodology enables pairwise comparisons among different features and consequently increases the knowledge regarding these attributes in light of the software’s risk assessment.

Feeding habits and trophic ecology of the fish Lutjanus griseus (Pisces: Lutjanidae) associated with submerged vegetation in Laguna de Términos, Campeche, Mexico. In Campeche, Mexico, the Laguna de Términos has Thalassia testudinum beds inhabited by the grey snapper, Lutjanus griseus (Linnaeus 1758). Along one year, we collected 994 individuals and 672 had food in their stomachs; we recorded number, weight, and frequency of trophic groups, and the index of relative importance. Dominant food components were Farfantepenaeus duorarum and Palemonetes octaviae, Eucinostomus gula (Cuvier 1830) and Libinia dubia. Salinity and temperature were related to the number of individuals collected and with greater fish consumption by large L. griseus. The trophic niche breadth index was calculated for six size-classes of fish. The smallest and the largest fish had the lowest index values, whereas medium-size snappers had higher values. This snapper has a preference for habitats with submerged vegetation. The percentage of fish with food in their stomachs was higher during dark hours, providing evidence of the nocturnal habits of this fish. Rev. Biol. Trop. 55 (3-4): 989-1004. Epub 2007 December, 28.
