YOUTH LABOUR MARKET. MOBILITY, CAREER DEVELOPMENT, INCOMES. CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES
Vasile Valentina,Vasile Liviu
Annals of the University of Oradea : Economic Science , 2011,
Abstract: This paper presents the main characteristics of the youth labour market, with a special view on mobility, career development and incomes. The paper is substantiated by and continues the researches of the authors on the topic of labour force mobility and on the one of adaptability, respectively on youths' beahviour on labour market (with particular consideration of young graduates) highlighting the factors that adjust choices regarding taking up a job, career advancement, labour motivation, professional and personal satisfaction opportunities which are provided by the labour market at local level, in country and abroad. Quantitative and qualitative indicators are presented about Romanian youths' labour market within the European context during the transition period. The impact of the crisis on youths' labour market is analysed, highlighting the challenges and opportunities, the particularities of the newly created jobs and especially the knowledge, skills and competencies requirements (KSC). The authors propose both the improvement of the systems of indicators for defining the potential and presence of youth on the labour market, the economic and social impact of external mobility of young graduates and an integrated scheme of policy measures for promoting adaptability and performance integration on Romanian labour market of youth. Particular attention is paid to presenting policy instruments for halting/diminishing the brain drain and brain shopping phenomena by promoting an attractive (professionally and monetary) supply for employment in Romania's local economy. The authors succeed in highlighting the functional links between the education market (labour force supply) and labour market (employment demand of the business environment) underpinning the requirement of integrated management of labour potential in the years preceding studies' finalization and up to the post-insertion years by multi-criteria analysis models and graduate career tracking programmes. Correlative measures are suggested for policies, procedures and monitoring instruments of youths' adaptability on labour market, as alternative to external migration/mobility for labour.
Youths on labour market.Features. Particularities. Pro-mobility factors for graduates. Elements of a balanced policy for labour migration
Valentina VASILE,Liviu VASILE
Revista Romana de Economie , 2011,
Abstract: The youths’ labour market, and especially insertion employment has a series of particularities defined by aspects such as: flexibility, efficient employment, interest for career but also informal employment, external mobility, including brain drain, segmentation, employment precariousness, income disadvantages, etc. Therefore, also the labour market policy and particularly managing labour mobility especially through the economic and social effects that might be triggered on the local labour market in the origin country, presents a special importance under the conditions of the economic turnaround stage, by promoting new and sustainable jobs, based on knowledge and competences. In the present paper an analysis is made about the youths’ labour market features, and the outcomes of an empirical analysis about graduates’ migration propensity are presented. Suggestions are made for developing a balanced policy for youths’ labour mobility to the benefit of the country of origin.
SOME SOCIO-ECONOMIC EFFECTS OF LABOR FORCE MIGRATION IN AN ENLARGED EUROPE
MARIANA BALAN,VALENTINA VASILE,LIVIU VASILE
Challenges of the Knowledge Society , 2011,
Abstract: The enlargement of the European Union and the liberalization of labor force movement to Europe increase greatly migration to developed countries. This phenomenon affects the economic growth both on short and long term. The ascendant trend of migration began by the mid-nineties and continued after 2000. The data between 2002 and 2009 indicate a quasi-slow down tendency. This paper intends to estimate some effects of migration flows over both origin and host countries in an enlarged Europe. Capital, financial and labor flows are the main mechanisms of European integration that should be borne in mind with respect to south-eastern enlargement, implicitly the migration from Romania which represents a sensitive subjects added to the aforementioned. The migration and emigration from and to Romania will have effects on the Romanian economy on short and long term.
MORAL AND ACTION UNIT TRAINING IN A FOOTBALL TEAM GAME
Professor VASILE LIVIU ANDREI, Phd.
Arena : Journal of Physical Activities , 2012,
Abstract: The popular and beautiful game of football is practised in over 200 countries, being the most played and well-known game of the humanity history. It is good to know that football is not anymore a game that answers the pleasure or need to move. In the performance sport, trai- nings and football matches are very complex and a lot more deman- ding, both mentally and physically, for the players. In modern ages, football came to be a total commitment of the play- ers. In order to accomplish the game goals at very high levels, football uses flexible techniques, and starting playing it at very early ages is esential and really useful. The development of this game determined the usage of some general and specific strategies. These strategies rec- ommend methods and means that increase the children’s and teenagers’ training and also focus on organisation aspects of the game, develop- ment of playing capacity and of concepts and techniques used to build and support the unity of a team.
INTERRACTIVE AND GRAPHICAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AT THE MARAMURES COUNTY COUNCIL

Annals of the University of Oradea : Economic Science , 2010,
Abstract: The Maramures County Council (Romania) implements a computerized graphic system for assisted public management. A performing public administration is a key issue for the present local and regional development. Having an interactive graphic interface based on the county geographical map, the SIGMA2 system act as a scoreboard for the management of the County Council, as well as an integrator of different software modules that consolidate local administration data. Among its results are the automatization of different financial operations and the provision of informational support for managerial analyses and decision making.
Application of optimal homotopy asymptotic method to nonlinear Bingham fluid dampers
Vasile Marinca,Remus-Daniel Ene,Liviu Bereteu
Physics , 2015,
Abstract: Magnetorheological fluids (MR) are stable suspensions of magnetizable microparticles, characterized by the property to change the rheological characteristics when subjected to the action of magnetic field. Together with another class of materials that change their rheological characteristics in the presence of an electric field, called electrorheological materials are known in the literature as the smart materials or controlled materials. In the absence of a magnetic field the particles in MR fluid are dispersed in the base fluid and its flow through the apertures is behaves as a Newtonian fluid having a constant shear stress. When the magnetic field is applying a MR fluid behavior change, and behaves like a Bingham fluid with a variable shear stress. Dynamic response time is an important characteristic for determining the performance of MR dampers in practical civil engineering applications. The purpose of this paper is to show how to use the Optimal Homotopy Asymptotic Method (OHAM) to solve the nonlinear differential equation of a modified Bingham model with non-viscous exponential damping. Our procedure does not depend upon small parameters and provides us with a convenient way to optimally control the convergence of the approximate solutions. OHAM is very efficient in practice ensuring a very rapid convergence of the solution after only one iteration and with a small number of steps.
Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma: Epidemiology, Clinical Presentation and Treatment  [PDF]
Liviu Feller, Johan Lemmer
Journal of Cancer Therapy (JCT) , 2012, DOI: 10.4236/jct.2012.34037
Abstract: Squamous cell carcinoma accounts for 90% of all oral cancers. It may affect any anatomical site in the mouth, but most commonly the tongue and the floor of the mouth. It usually arises from a pre-existing potentially malignant lesion, and occasionally de novo; but in either case from within a field of precancerized epithelium. The use of tobacco and betel quid, heavy drinking of alcoholic beverages and a diet low in fresh fruits and vegetables are well known risk factors for oral squamous cell carcinoma. Important risk factors related to the carcinoma itself that are associated with a poor prognosis include large size of the tumour at the time of diagnosis, the presence of metastases in regional lymphnodes, and a deep invasive front of the tumour. Squamous cell carcinoma is managed by surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy singularly or in combination; but regardless of the treatment modality, the five-year survival rate is poor at about 50%. This can be attributed to the fact that about two-thirds of persons with oral squamous cell carcinoma already have a large lesion at the time of diagnosis.

Abstract: Two manganese(III) porphyrins: manganese(III) tetraphenylporphyrin chloride and manganese(III)-tetrakis(3-hydroxyphenyl)porphyrin chloride were tested as ionophores for the construction of new diclofenac?selective electrodes. The electroactive material was incorporated either in PVC or a sol?gel matrix. The effect of different plasticizers and additives (anionic and cationic) on the potentiometric response was studied. The best results were obtained for the PVC membrane plasticized with dioctylphtalate and having sodium tetraphenylborate as a lipophilic anionic additive incorporated. The sensor response was linear in the concentration range 3 × 10?6 – 1 × 10?2 M with a slope of ?59.7 mV/dec diclofenac, a detection limit of 1.5 × 10?6 M and very good selectivity coefficients. It was used for the determination of diclofenac in pharmaceutical preparations, by direct potentiometry. The results were compared with those obtained by the HPLC reference method and a good agreement was found between the two methods.

A Mathematical Model for Logarithmic Image Processing
Vasile Patrascu,Vasile Buzuloiu
Computer Science , 2014,
Abstract: In this paper, we propose a new mathematical model for image processing. It is a logarithmical one. We consider the bounded interval (-1, 1) as the set of gray levels. Firstly, we define two operations: addition <+> and real scalar multiplication . With these operations, the set of gray levels becomes a real vector space. Then, defining the scalar product (.|.) and the norm || . ||, we obtain an Euclidean space of the gray levels. Secondly, we extend these operations and functions for color images. We finally show the effect of various simple operations on an image.
