Analysis on Penetrative Effects of New Media on Ideological and Political Education of Universities and Colleges  [PDF]

Abstract: The growing development of science, technology and information makes media such as computer and mobile phone become essential parts in our daily life and play a vital role in students’ physical and mental development. With rapid development of science and technology at present, new media such as computer and mobile phone has become an essential part of our daily life. As the important platform to cultivate high-quality talents, colleges play a crucial role in the development of society. Colleges should know clearly about the important responsibilities shouldered by them. According to students’ characteristics, they should achieve effective combination of ideological and political education and new media, give full play to the huge advantages of new media, and use its characteristics such as enormous information and rapid propagation speed to realize its effective use in ideological and political education. This article analyzes the problems of new media existed in ideological and political education in colleges, puts forward countermeasures of new media to penetrate into the ideological and political education in colleges and lays foundation for the penetrability of new media in ideological and political education in colleges.

Abstract: The increasing rise and development of new media technology has influenced the college students profoundly. And new media technologies with remarkable importance such as Wechat, QQ and MicroBlog have given great impacts on current ideological and political education in colleges. Current ideological and political education in colleges is facing new requirements under new media environment, and the performance of ideological and political education in colleges is facing new development conditions as well. On one hand, the effective utilization of new media has significantly shrunk the gap between college teaching staffs and students, rendering convenience to the ideological and political education in colleges. On the other hand, due to the great openness of new media, it has influenced the authority of ideological and political work in colleges to some extent, and it may also influence the leading capacity of the working staff of ideological and political education in colleges, which has weakened the educational achievements to a large extent. Currently, how to utilize the new media environment effectively to make it beneficial to the ideological and political education in colleges has been a problem needed to be settled urgently. This paper has mainly analyzed current situation of the existing ideological and political education in colleges, and has studied on the method of ideological and political education in colleges under new media environment, thus we put forward new approaches for the ideological and political education in colleges.

Abstract: In the survey of the continuous nonlinear resource allocation problem, Patriksson pointed out that Newton-type algorithms have not been proposed for solving the problem of search theory in the theoretical perspective. In this paper, we propose a Newton-type algorithm to solve the problem. We prove that the proposed algorithm has global and superlinear convergence. Some numerical results indicate that the proposed algorithm is promising. 1. Introduction We consider the problem where , , , and is the vector of ones. The problem described by (1) is called the theory of search by Koopman [1] and Patriksson [2]. It has the following interpretation: an object is inside box with probability , and is proportional to the difficulty of searching inside the box. If the searcher spends time units looking inside box , then he/she will find the object with probability . The problem described by (1) represents the optimum search strategy if the available time is limited to time units. Such problems in the form of (1) arise, for example, in searching for a lost object, in distribution of destructive effort such as a weapons allocation problem [3], in drilling for oil, and so forth [2]. Patriksson [2] surveyed the history and applications as well as algorithms of Problem (1); see [2, Sections 2.1.4, 2.1.5, and 3.1.2]. Patriksson pointed out that Newton-type algorithms have not been theoretically analyzed for the problem described by (1) in the references listed in [2]. Recently, related problems and methods were considered in many articles, for example, [4–6]. For example, a projected pegging algorithm was proposed in [5] for solving convex quadratic minimization. However, the question proposed by Patriksson [2] was not answered in the literature. In this paper, we design a Newton-type algorithm to solve the problem described by (1). We show that the proposed algorithm has global and superlinear convergence. According to the Fischer-Burmeister function [7], the problem described by (1) can be transformed to a semismooth equation. Based on the framework of the algorithms in [8, 9], a smoothing Newton-type algorithm is proposed to solve the semismooth equation. It is shown that the proposed algorithm can generate a bounded iteration sequence. Moreover, the iteration sequence superlinearly converges to an accumulation point which is a solution to the problem described by (1). Improvement of an Isolation Medium for Actinomycetes

Abstract: By comparing differences among the effects of several isolation mediums on soil actinomycetes, we attempted to find a isolation medium that could result in actionomycetes with high diversity. Soil samples were isolated by the dilution plateing method, and genomic DNA was extracted using phenol-chloroform method. After amplification by 16S rDNA PCR, PCR products were sequenced and undertaken phylogenetic analysis in order to determine the ownership of isolates. The results showed that the isolated strains belonged to 15 genuses; as for the established medium in the present paper, ZSSE was easier to isolate rare actiomycetes with rich diversity, and could replace routine agars such as Gause`s No.1, HV and ISP5; CHV was easier to isolate micromonospora.
Analysis of Characteristics of the Forecast Jump in the NCEP Ensemble Forecast Products  [PDF]

Abstract: The limit of numerical prediction and ensemble prediction can be further understood by the study of the forecast jump. By using the ensemble average forecast and control forecast product output data for the United States National Environmental Prediction Center (NCEP) global ensemble forecast system (GEFS), and the concept of Jumpiness index from Zsoter et al., we analyzed the statistical characteristics of forecast jump. Results show that, on average, in the NCEP ensemble forecast product, the time average prediction jump index increases with the increase of the forecast aging, and the actual forecast experience can reflect this phenomenon. The consistency of ensemble average forecast is better than the corresponding control forecast. Also, in summer, the frequency of “forecast jump” phenomenon is fluctuating by 17.5%.

Abstract: Cluster anticonsensus is another important type consensus of multiagent systems. In this paper, we investigate the problem of impulsive cluster anticonsensus of discrete multiagent linear dynamic systems. Firstly, an impulsive protocol is designed to achieve the cluster anticonsensus. Then sufficient conditions are given to guarantee the cluster anticonsensus of the discrete multiagent linear dynamic system based on the -theory. Numerical simulation shows the effectiveness of our theoretical results.
Postantibiotic effects and postantibiotic sub-MIC effects of tilmicosin, erythromycin and tiamulin on erythromycin-resistant Streptococcus suis

Abstract: the postantibiotic effects (paes) and postantibiotic sub-mic effects (pa smes) of tilmicosin, erythromycin and tiamulin on erythromycin-susceptible and erythromycin-resistant strains of streptococcus suis (m phenotype) were investigated in vitro. tilmicosin and tiamulin induced significantly longer pae and pa sme against both erythromycin-susceptible and erythromycin-resistant strains than did erythromycin. the durations of pae and pa smes were proportional to the concentrations of drugs used for exposure. the pa smes were substantially longer than paes on s. suis (p<0.05) regardless of the antimicrobial used for exposure. the results indicated that the pae and pa sme could help in the design of efficient control strategies for infection especially caused by erythromycin-resistant s. suis and that they may provide additional valuable information for the rational drug use in clinical practice.
