A Quasi-Elliptic Microstrip Bandpass Filter Using Modified Anti-Parallel Coupled-Line

Abstract: A novel band-pass filter (BPF) with lower and upper stopband zeros is proposed. The filter mainly consists of two antisymmetric modified anti-parallel coupled-lines and double pairs of transmission lines. Compared with the traditional anti-parallel coupled-line, the new filter has a better performance at both pass band and stop band. On the basis of even-odd mode method and network theory, the filter has been analyzed in detail. In addition, a simple method to create transmission zeros is investigated, which is beneficial for controlling the stopband zeros. The proposed filter is implemented on RT/Duroid 4350 substrate. Measured results show low insertion loss of less than 1.6 dB in the pass band and good suppressing of more than 22 dB in the lower stop band. Measured results show a good agreement with simulated results.

Abstract: The law of internet securities fraud mainly concerns internet safety, securities offering, information disclosure and securities trading on internet, the imperfections of which mainly include the low level for legislation, short of fundamental legislation, imperfect special legislation, conflicts among traditional legislation, and short of rules of international coordination. The discreet measures for perfection should include promoting legislation level, establishing relevant provisions for cyberspace conduct and special law such as Electronic Securities Trading Law, and amending Securities Law to regulate the prominent securities fraud in cyberspace. At present, it is urgent for securities regulator to establish and perfect the relevant supervision rules. Key words: Cyberspace; Securities Exchange; Securities Fraud; Legal Supervision Résumé: La loi de la fraude en valeurs mobilières sur Internet concerne principalement la sécurité Internet, l’offres des titres, la divulgation de l'information et la transaction des titres sur internet, dont les imperfections incluent principalement un faible niveau de législation, une absence de législation fondamentale, une législation spéciale imparfaite, les conflits entre la législation traditionnelle, et une absence de règles de coordination internationale. Resonance characteristics of two-span continuous beam under moving high speed trains

Abstract: the resonance characteristics of a two-span continuous beam traversed by moving high speed trains at a constant velocity is investigated, in which the continuous beam has uniform span length. each span of the continuous beam is modeled as a bernoulli-euler beam and the moving trains are represented as a series of two degrees-of-freedom mass-springdamper systems at the axle locations. a method of modal analysis is proposed in this paper to investigate the vibration of two-span continuous beam. the effects of different influencing parameters, such as the velocities of moving trains, the damping ratios and the span lengths of the beam, on the dynamic response of the continuous beam are examined. the two-span continuous beam has two critical velocities causing two resonance responses, which is different from simple supported beam. the resonance condition of the two-span continuous beam is put forward which depends on the first and second natural frequency of the beam and the moving velocity.

Magnetic and electrical transport properties of Pb1-xLaxTi1-xMnxO3 ceramics

Abstract: Pb1-xLaxTi1-xMnxO3 (PLTM100x, x = 0.20, 0.40, 0.50, 0.60, and 0.80) ceramics have been prepared and investigated. X-ray diffractions show all ceramics are crystallized into perovskite structures with tetragonal symmetry for PLTMO20 and orthorhombic symmetry for the other compositions. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy results confirm that the Mn cations in PLTMO20 and PLTMO40 have the valence state of +3, whereas in other compositions, the Mn cations have mixed valences states of +3 and +4. With increasing x from 0.20 to 0.80, the materials change from superparamagnetic to coexisting ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic magnetic behaviour whereas all compositions persist insulating behaviour, as confirmed by the magnetization-magnetic field (M-H), the temperature dependent magnetization (M-T) and transport measurements. Especially, the PLTMO80 has a large negative magnetoresistance of 41.5% at 10 K with the applied filed of 2 T. By considering the chemical states of Mn cations, these results are attributed to that the coexistence of metallic ferromagnetic and insulating non-ferromagnetic phases.
Temporally and Spatially Constrained ICA of fMRI Data Analysis

Abstract: Constrained independent component analysis (CICA) is capable of eliminating the order ambiguity that is found in the standard ICA and extracting the desired independent components by incorporating prior information into the ICA contrast function. However, the current CICA method produces constraints that are based on only one type of prior information (temporal/spatial), which may increase the dependency of CICA on the accuracy of the prior information. To improve the robustness of CICA and to reduce the impact of the accuracy of prior information on CICA, we proposed a temporally and spatially constrained ICA (TSCICA) method that incorporated two types of prior information, both temporal and spatial, as constraints in the ICA. The proposed approach was tested using simulated fMRI data and was applied to a real fMRI experiment using 13 subjects who performed a movement task. Additionally, the performance of TSCICA was compared with the ICA method, the temporally CICA (TCICA) method and the spatially CICA (SCICA) method. The results from the simulation and from the real fMRI data demonstrated that TSCICA outperformed TCICA, SCICA and ICA in terms of robustness to noise. Moreover, the TSCICA method displayed better robustness to prior temporal/spatial information than the TCICA/SCICA method.
Submillimeter/millimeter observations of the high-mass star forming region IRAS 22506+5944

Abstract: The mapping observations of CO $J=2-1$, CO $J=3-2$, $^{13}$CO $J=2-1$ and $^{13}$CO $J=3-2$ lines in the direction of IRAS 22506+5944 have been made. The results show that the cores in the $J=2-1$ transition lines have a similar morphology to those in the $J=3-2$ transition lines. Bipolar molecular outflows are verified. The prior IRAS 22506+5944 observations indicated that two IRAS sources and three H$_{2}$O masers were located close to the peak position of the core. One of the IRAS sources may be the driving source of the outflows. In addition, the H$_{2}$O masers may occur in relatively warm environments. The parameters of the dense core and outflow, obtained by the LTE method, indicate that IRAS 22506+5944 is a high-mass star formation region.
The open cluster NGC6823 and possible triggered star formation associated with SNR G59.5+0.1

Abstract: We investigate the environment in the vicinity of the supernova remnant (SNR) G59.5+0.1 and identify all young stellar objects (YSOs) around the SNR, to derive the physical properties, obtain insight into the star-formation history, and further see whether SNR G59.5+0.1 can trigger star formation in this region. We have performed the submillimeter/millimeter observations in CO lines toward the southeast of SNR G59.5+0.1 with the KOSMA 3m Telescope. High integrated CO line intensity ratio R(CO 3-2/CO 2-1) is identified as one good signature of SNR-MCs (molecular clouds) interacting system. To investigate the impact of SNR G59.5+0.1 on the process of star formation, we used GLIMPSE I Catalog to select YSOs (including class I and class II sources). CO emission in an arc-like shape and mid-infrared 8.28 um emission are well coincident with SNR G59.5+0.1, which has the total mass of 1.1*10^{4}Msun and fully cover open cluster NGC 6823. Three molecular clumps were identified in the CO molecular arc, each clump shows the broad line wing emission, indicating that there are three outflows motion. The integrated CO line intensity ratio (R(CO 3-2/CO 2-1) for the whole molecular arc is between 0.48 and 1.57. The maximum value is 1.57, which is much higher than previous measurements of individual Galactic MCs. The CO molecular arc has a line intensity ratio gradient. SNR G59.5+0.1 is in adiabatic expansion phase. The age of the SNR is 8.6*10^{4} yr. Based on GLIMPSE I Catalog 625 young stellar objects (YSOs) candidates (including 176 class I sources and 449 class II sources) are selected. The timescales for class 0, class I and class II sources are <10^{4} yr, ~10^{5} yr, and ~10^{6} yr, respectively. The number of YSOs are significantly enhanced in the interacting regions, indicating the presence of some recently formed stars.
