Three-gluon correlator contribution to Sivers asymmetry in SIDIS

Abstract: We study the Sivers asymmetry in semi-inclusive deep inelastic scattering: the three-gluon correlation function contribution. At the cross section level, we establish the matching between the twist-3 collinear factorization approach and the transverse momentum dependent factorization formalism at the moderate transverse momentum region. The so-called coefficient functions when one expands the quark Sivers function in terms of three-gluon correlation functions are derived, which are essential components in the usual transverse momentum dependent evolution formalism. Finally we calculate the transverse-momentum-weighted spin-dependent differential cross section at the next-to-leading order, from which we identify the off-diagonal/three-gluon correlation contribution to the QCD collinear evolution of the twist-3 Qiu-Sterman function.
Two photon couplings of the lightest isoscalars from BELLE data

Abstract: Amplitude Analysis of two photon production of $\pi\pi$ and ${\overline K}K$, using S-matrix constraints and fitting all available data, including the latest precision results from Belle, yields a single partial wave solution up to 1.4 GeV. The two photon couplings of the $\sigma/f_0(500)$, $f_0(980)$ and $f_2(1270)$ are determined from the residues of the resonance poles.
Comprehensive Amplitude Analysis of $γγ\rightarrow π^+π^-, π^0π^0$ and $\overline{K} K$ below 1.5 GeV

Abstract: In this paper we perform an amplitude analysis of essentially all published pion and kaon pair production data from two photon collisions below 1.5 GeV. This includes all the high statistics results from Belle, as well as older data from Mark II at SLAC, CELLO at DESY, Crystal Ball at SLAC. The purpose of this analysis is to provide as close to a model-independent determination of the $\gamma\gamma$ to meson pair amplitudes as possible. Having data with limited angular coverage, typically $|\cos \theta| < 0.6-0.8$, and no polarization information for reactions in which spin is an essential complication, the determination of the underlying amplitudes might appear an intractable problem. However, imposing the basic constraints required by analyticity, unitarity, and crossing-symmetry makes up for the experimentally missing information. Final state interactions among the meson pairs are critical to this analysis. To fix these, we include the latest $\pi\pi\to\pi\pi$, ${\overline K}K$ scattering amplitudes given by dispersive analyses, supplemented in the ${\overline K}K$ threshold region by the recent precision Dalitz plot analysis from BaBar. With these hadronic amplitudes built into unitarity, we can constrain the overall description of $\gamma\gamma\to\pi\pi$ and $\overline{K}K$ datasets, both integrated and differential cross-sections, including the high statistics charged and neutral pion, as well as $K_sK_s$ data from Belle. Since this analysis invokes coupled hadronic channels, having data on both $\gamma\gamma\to\pi\pi$ and $\overline{K}K$ reduces the solution space to essentially a single form. We present the partial wave amplitudes, show how well they fit all the available data, and give the two photon couplings of scalar and tensor resonances that appear. These partial waves are important inputs into forthcoming dispersive calculations of hadronic light-by-light scattering.
Next-to-leading order transverse momentum-weighted Sivers asymmetry in semi-inclusive deep inelastic scattering: the role of the three-gluon correlator

Abstract: We study the Sivers asymmetry in semi-inclusive hadron production in deep inelastic scattering. We concentrate on the contribution from the photon-gluon fusion channel at ${\cal O}(\alpha_{em}^2 \alpha_s)$, where three-gluon correlation functions play a major role within the twist-3 collinear factorization formalism. We establish the correspondence between such a formalism with three gluon correlation functions and the usual transverse momentum dependent (TMD) factorization formalism at moderate hadron transverse momenta. We derive the coefficient functions used in the usual TMD evolution formalism related to the quark Sivers function expansion in terms of the three-gluon correlation functions. We further perform the next-to-leading order calculation for the transverse-momentum-weighted spin-dependent differential cross section, and identify the off-diagonal contribution from the three-gluon correlation functions to the QCD collinear evolution of the twist-3 Qiu-Sterman function.

Abstract: In the title coordination complex, [Zn(C22H12O6)(H2O)2]n or [Zn(H2nba)(H2O)2]n (H2nba is 2,2′-dihydroxy-1,1′-binaphthyl-3,3′-dicarboxylate), the ZnII atom is coordinated by three H2nba ligands and two water molecules, resulting in a distorted trigonal-bipyramidal geometry. In the crystal structure, adjacent ZnII atoms are linked by two H2nba ligands, forming one-dimensional ribbons along the c axis. These ribbons are further assembled into layers parallel to the bc plane via O—H...O hydrogen bonds.
Chaotic Structures in Brent & WTI Crude Oil Markets: Empirical Evidence

Abstract: This article provided empirical evidence of existence of chaotic structures in the time series of Brent and WTI crude oil price returns, by means of the Phase Space Reconstruction Technique (PSRT) and fractal integral method. This paper analyzed the time series of oil prices, attained the fractal dimensions, positive Lyapunov exponents and Kolmogorov entropy, and thereby identified the existence of chaos in the markets. Our results can deepen the understanding of crude oil dynamics and the complexity of the analyzed markets.
Oil price shocks, road transport pollution emissions and residents' health losses in China

Abstract: China's rapid economic growth resulted in serious air pollution, which caused substantial losses to economic development and residents' health. In particular, the road transport sector has been blamed to be one of the major emitters. During the past decades, fluctuation in the international oil prices has imposed significant impacts on the China's road transport sector. Therefore, we propose an assumption that China's provincial economies are independent "economic entities". Based on this assumption, we investigate the China's road transport fuel (i.e., gasoline and diesel) demand system by using the panel data of all 31 Chinese provinces except Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. To connect the fuel demand system and the air pollution emissions, we propose the concept of pollution emissions elasticities to estimate the air pollution emissions from the road transport sector, and residents' health losses by a simplified approach consisting of air pollution concentrations and health loss assessment models under different scenarios based on real-world oil price fluctuations. Our framework, to the best of our knowledge, is the first attempt to address the transmission mechanism between the fuel demand system in road transport sector and residents' health losses in the transitional China.
Foam Separation of Ginsenosides of Panax Ginseng

Abstract: Foam separation of ginsenosides in panax ginseng was studied for recovery of ginsenosides. By determining the enrichment factor and total yield of ginsenosides, the effects of different operational conditions such as gas flow rate, pH, feed concentration and volume, gas type, and operation mode were investigated. The experimental results show that foam separation is a simple and effective method for concentrating the ginsenosides.

Abstract: 研究了细胞外ATP对菜豆叶片光系统Ⅱ(PSⅡ)光化学特性的系统性影响及可能的内在机制。研究发现,用外源ATP处理菜豆叶片的一侧,处理侧和同叶未处理侧潜在最大光化学效率(Fv/Fm)、非调节性能量耗散量子产量(Y(NO))与对照相比无显著变化;而实际光化学效率(Y(Ⅱ))、电子传递速率(ETR)和光化学猝灭系数(qP)与对照相比显著上升,但非光化学猝灭系数(qN)和调节性能量耗散量子产量(Y(NPQ))则显著下降。表明了细胞外ATP能够系统性地提高菜豆叶片PSⅡ光化学效率。用外源ATP处理菜豆叶片的一侧,检测叶片处理侧与同叶未处理侧过氧化氢的含量,发现与对照相比,叶片处理侧与未处理侧过氧化氢含量均显著上升。用外源过氧化氢(H2O2)处理菜豆叶片一侧也导致了处理侧与同叶未处理侧Y(Ⅱ)、ETR和qP的显著上升,以及qN和Y(NPQ)的显著下降。因此,过氧化氢和ATP能够对处理侧与同叶未处理侧叶片的光化学特性产生相似的影响。进一步研究表明,用过氧化氢的淬灭剂N,N'-二甲基硫脲(DMTU,dimethylthiourea)可以减弱ATP对菜豆叶片处理侧与未处理侧Y(Ⅱ)、ETR、qP、qN和Y(NPQ)产生的影响。这些结果表明菜豆叶片局部细胞外ATP的增加可加强邻近组织PSⅡ的光化学效率,并且胞外ATP对叶片PSⅡ光化学特性的这种系统性影响依赖于H2O2调节的下游信号途径。
Relationship between Extracellular ATP and Intracellular ATP and Its Role in Regulating the Cell Death under Oligomycin Treatment

Abstract: 以烟草悬浮细胞BY-2为材料,利用FoF1-ATP合成酶(FoF1-ATPase)抑制剂寡霉素研究了细胞内ATP(iATP)对胞外ATP(eATP)水平的影响,以及施加外源ATP对iATP水平和细胞死亡的调节作用。结果表明,随着寡霉素浓度的增加(5、10、25、50 μmol·L-1),烟草悬浮细胞的iATP含量逐渐下降,eATP含量也随之减少,且细胞死亡水平在较高寡霉素处理浓度下有明显上升。同时,随着寡霉素处理时间的增加(0.5、1、3、5 h),烟草悬浮细胞的iATP含量和eATP含量也呈现出不同程度的下降,而细胞死亡水平则有所增加。施加外源ATP能够缓解寡霉素引起的细胞iATP水平的下降和细胞死亡水平的上升。上述结果表明,eATP水平受到了iATP水平的影响,而eATP也在线粒体ATP合成受到抑制时调控iATP和细胞死亡的发生。
