Abstract: In this paper, a modified feasible sequential quadratic programming (FSQP) method is presented to solve the linear programming. By solving only one QP subproblem, a feasible descent direction is obtained. A high-order revised direction is computed by solving a linear system to avoid Maratos effect. Under some suitable conditions, the global and superlinear convergence can be obtained. Keywords: FSQP method; Llinear constrained optimization; Global convergence; superlinear convergence rate

Abstract: The distribution of hazards triggered by strong earthquakes showed great differences with traditional experience that gained from normal condition or moderate earthquake. This paper researches the differences and discusses the effect on road in V-shaped valleys. The distribution map of slope failures triggered by Lushan earthquake along roads is worked out by detailed investigation. Abnormal areas of seismic hazards are found and marked in the map. Then, co-seismic hazards and post-seismic hazards are researched in detail along Yingxiu-Wolong section of S303 road. V-shaped valleys are abnormal areas in strong earthquakes, where the geological hazards can be extreme large. Rock avalanche is the major type of co-seismic hazard, and debris flow is prone to occur and is the most harmful post-seismic hazard. For new built roads, the line elevation is as high as it can be if the economy and technique are acceptable. In strong earthquake-stricken area, makeshift roads are adopted in damage trunk roads to ensure the traffic. Reconstruction of formal roads should not be started until the end of the active period. The line elevation with enough vertical clearance over the river should be adopted to prevent the post-seismic debris flow hazard.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army , 2012,
Abstract: Over the past century, there were more than 40 earthquakes greater than 7 magnitude occurred worldwide, 10 of which in China, which killed 600 thousand people accounting for 53% of global earthquake deaths. On May 12, 2008, an 8.0-magnitude earthquake occurred in Wenchuan, Sichuan Province, causing 69000 deaths, 18000 missings, and 370000 injuries. Among 10 thousand severe injuries, most were traumatic injuries, 74% of which were fracture. On April 14, 2010, a 7.1-magnitude earthquake occurred in Yushu, Qinghai Province. There were 2698 deaths, 270 missings and 11000 injuries. Among 3100 severe injuries, fracture accounted for 58.4%. After each earthquake, the Chinese Army Medical Services took actions and made quick response according to the law. They sent out elites with efficient command and scientific organization, fully participating in the medical rescue operations. After Wenchuan earthquake, 397 mobile medical service units and 7061 health workers were sent out. A total of 69000 people were treated, and 22000 cases of surgeries were performed. After Yushu earthquake, a total of 25 mobile medical service units and 2025 health workers were sent. They performed 1635 cases of surgeries with a miracle of "zero death" in mass earthquake casualties and altitude diseases in cold highlands. After each earthquake, injuries cured within 1 week accounted for 60% of the total, and patients evacuated accounted for 80% of the total, which owed to the effective first aid in site of Chinese Army Medical Service. They effectively played the role as the main force, making significant contributions for the final victory of earthquake relief. From the practice of medical rescue revelation after the two earthquakes, what Chinese Army Medical Services Services learned are: firstly, the theory of medical relief should be innovated; secondly, military and civilian organizations should be coordinated; thirdly, professional rescue force should be strengthened; fourthly, supporting means should be constructed; fifthly, international communication and cooperation should be deepened.

Journal of Financial Risk Management (JFRM) , 2018, DOI: 10.4236/jfrm.2018.73019
Abstract: The development of bank’s credit card business faces serious challenges, and the bank employees’ turnover is becoming increasingly serious. In view of this, this thesis takes the employees of the credit card department of the six banking institutions in Guangzhou as the research object, and explores the key factors that influence the talent turnover of Chinese banking industry in the current environment. An official questionnaire is designed for research. Combining with the actual situation of corporate and domestic and foreign research results, in addition to the relational analysis on salary and benefits, career promotion and management communication which are traditional issues, this thesis has constructed a relational model of internal and external factors in the context of performance-based high-pressure brought by market saturation and the impact of the emerging business of mobile payment and virtual credit cards business. This thesis is more scientifically and comprehensively used for analysis and discussion. The talent turnover of bank’s credit card business is mainly due to the ambiguity in the development prospects of credit card business, the impact of mobile payment and emerging business of virtual credit card on employees’ psychological expectations, the high pressure of employees’ performance due to saturation of the credit card market, and the development of new consumer finance companies. Also, external work opportunities and other intricate internal and external factors lead to this result.

Health (Health) , 2009, DOI: 10.4236/health.2009.11005
Abstract: The Z curve is a very useful method for visual-izing and analyzing DNA sequences. It is a three-dimensional space curve that constitutes a unique representation of a given DNA se-quence. It becomes more and more important to study non-coding regions in the recent years. Using Z curve method, 15 disease-related ncRNAs and some snoRNAs and miRNAs sequences are selected from the NONCODE database in this paper, which relate to Alzheimer Disease. The corresponding Z curves of the studied ncRNAs, sequences have been mapped and compared. The statistical features of the Z curves are ob-tained. These features indicate that the ncRNAs sequences playing same roles in the celluar process have almost the same Z-curves. And the base content in these sequences is almost same too.

Journal of Biomedical Science and Engineering (JBiSE) , 2012, DOI: 10.4236/jbise.2012.59065
Abstract: Fetal distress is one of the main factors to cesarean section in obstetrics and gynecology. If the fetus lack of oxygen in uterus, threat to the fetal health and fetal death could happen. Cardiotocography (CTG) is the most widely used technique to monitor the fetal health and fetal heart rate (FHR) is an important index to identify occurs of fetal distress. This study is to propose discriminant analysis (DA), decision tree (DT), and artificial neural network (ANN) to evaluate fetal distress. The results show that the accuracies of DA, DT and ANN are 82.1%, 86.36% and 97.78%, respectively.

Theoretical Economics Letters (TEL) , 2015, DOI: 10.4236/tel.2015.51016
Abstract: In recent years, the trading contact between China and South Korea has become more and more close. In the 21st anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and South Korea 2013, China has become South Korea’s largest export market and largest import market. At the same time, South Korea has become China’s fourth largest exporter and second largest importer of foreign trade, which contributes to the rapid development of?manufactured products intra-industry trade between China and South Korea. This paper summarizes the development status of industrial manufactured products intra-industry trade between China and South Korea since 1992, and uses empirical analysis, then drawing a conclusion that the direct investment from South Korea to China, total merchandise trade between China and South Korea, and the economic development level of China have great influences on the level of intra-industry trade between China and South Korea, but the degree of the influence is different for different types of manufactured goods. Finally, this article proposes policy recommendations to promote the further development of manufactured products intra-industry trade between China and South Korea.

With a total number of 3400 participants, a sequence of four studies in two waves of data collection, the present study identified the conceptualization and construction of a mental wellbeing scale in a modern Asian multi-ethnic community-Singapore. Study 1 consisted a series of interviews (N = 351), surveys (N = 161) and focus group discussions (N = 59) to examine the popular conceptualization and manifestation of the construct of mental wellbeing in Singapore. The multi-ethnic inputs were then categorized into popular categories to construct a prototype of the Singapore Mental Wellbeing (SMWEB) Scale. With a nationally representative sample of 741 participants, Study 2 found the internal reliability (α = .962, 30 items) and a strong construct validity of the SMWEB. EFA and CFA confirmed a five dimensional structure of the SMWEB: Asian Self-esteem, Social Intelligence, Emotional Intelligence, Resilience and Cognitive Efficacy. Each dimension is internally coherent and culturally meaningful. With an additional nationally representative sample of 2091 participants, Study 3 constructed a short form of the SMWEB, the SMWEB-S with high internal reliability (α = .932, 16 items) and strong construct validity. Using Sample 2 and the SMWEB-S, Study 4 further validated the SMWEB as a measure of mental wellbeing by testing two theoretical models: the multi-dimensional model of mental wellbeing and the two factor model of mental wellbeing versus mental disorders. Excellent fit indices were found with both models. Further, the SMWEB-S showed significant construct validity by significantly predicting the culturally sanctioned goal pursuits: personal income and education attainment.
