Induction of interleukin-10 is dependent on p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase pathway in macrophages infected with porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus

Abstract: Background Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV) causes reproductive failure and respiratory illness in pigs and usually establishes a persistent infection. Previous studies suggested that interleukin-10 (IL-10) could play a critical role in PRRSV-induced immunosuppression. However, the ability of PRRSV to induce IL-10 in infected cells is controversial. In this study, we further investigated this issue using PRRSV strain CH-1a, which is the first North American genotype strain isolated in China. Results PRRSV strain CH-1a could significantly up-regulate IL-10 production both at mRNA and protein levels in porcine alveolar macrophages (PAMs), bone marrow-derived macrophages (BMDMs), and monocyte-derived macrophages (MDMs). However, up-regulation of IL-10 by PRRSV was retarded by specific inhibitors of p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) (SB203580) and NF-κB (BAY11-7082). Additionally, p38 MAPK and NF-κB pathways but not ERK1/2 MAPK were actually activated in PRRSV-infected BMDMs as demonstrated by western blot analysis, suggesting that p38 MAPK and NF-κB pathways are involved in the induction of IL-10 by PRRSV infection. Transfection of PAMs and PAM cell line 3D4/21 (CRL-2843) with viral structural genes showed that glycoprotein5 (GP5) could significantly up-regulate IL-10 production, which was dependent on p38 MAPK and signal transducer and activator of transcription-3 (STAT3) activation. We also demonstrated that a full-length glycoprotein was essential for GP5 to induce IL-10 production. Conclusions PRRSV strain CH-1a could significantly up-regulate IL-10 production through p38 MAPK activation.

Abstract: The method of box dimension is used in this paper for calculating the fractal dimension of the fuel air explosive( FAE) explosive images. The relationship between fractal dimension and the expansion law of fireball is discussed. The change of explosion image fractal dimension all the time is studied, and its change law is inferred, with the reason analyzed, which lays the foundation for the further study of explosive process.
Study on the Armored and Mechanized Force Command Information System Model Based on the Complex Network

Abstract: The wide application of the information technology and the computer network in the military domain has hastened the born of the informationalized operation, and completely changed many characteristics of the limited communication of the mechanized operation, the big-scale operation, and the centralized command control and decision. Facing increasing complexity and network structure characteristics of the command information system, the research idea based on the complex network is proposed in this article, and the topology model of the command information system is established by mapping the three-dimensional structure to the two-dimensional link. By the method of the entity numerical analysis, the existence of the small world and the scale-free characteristics is tested and verified, which could provide positive theoretical reference for the construction of the future system of the armored and mechanized force.
Study on the Route Optimization of Military Logistics Distribution in Wartime Based on the Ant Colony Algorithm

Abstract: Because of the impacts from the road conditions and the hostile attacking, the military logistics distribution in wartime should consider the pressure degrees of various demand points to the materials, so it is much more complex than the common logistics. Aiming at the actual situation of the military logistics distribution in wartime, the basic ant colony algorithm is improved in the article, and the software of MATLAB is used to simulate the improved algorithm. The result indicates that the algorithm possesses higher solving efficiency, and can fulfill the requirement of the route optimization of the military logistics distribution in wartime.

Abstract: This paper aims at systematically studying the industry and finance combination from a relatively micro aspect, namely the enterprise group. This paper takes the enterprise group as the subject in research. Based on the combination of industrial capitals and financial capitals, this paper analyzes the concepts, characteristics, and types of industry and finance combination in large enterprise groups that regard the industry as the main body. Besides, this paper makes a theoretical analysis of comparing the industry and finance combinations in domestic and foreign enterprise groups. By this research, the author hopes to discuss how large enterprise groups make best use of resources, economy of scale, and economy of scope and improve the core competitiveness by combining industrial capitals and financial capitals.
Preparation of Crystalline Sn-Doped TiO2 and Its Application in Visible-Light Photocatalysis

Abstract: Sn-doped TiO2 nanoparticles were prepared by the vapor transport method of water molecules and characterized by XRD and XPS analyses. The TEM images indicated that as-prepared samples were highly dispersed nanoparticles with a small and uniform size below 20?nm, as it would effectively control the rate of hydrolysis of Ti4+ by adjusting the flow speed of water vapor. Meanwhile, the photocatalytic properties of Sn-doped TiO2 were tested, and the results showed that doping an appropriate amount of Tin would improve the photocatalytic activity of TiO2 by enhancing the separation rate of photogenerated electrons and holes on the surface of TiO2. In addition, the calcination temperature and Tin content had an important influence on the photocatalytic activity of TiO2. When the mix ratio of Sn:Ti reached 1%, and the nano-Sn-TiO2 sample was calcined at , it showed the best photocatalytic activity. 1. Introduction TiO2 has been considered as the most promising semiconductor photocatalyst [1–6] because of its high stability, low cost, and innocuity. However, it is only sensitive to UV light due to its large band gap (3.2?eV) [7], along with the relatively high electron-hole recombination rate [8, 9], which impedes its application. In order to use solar energy more efficiently, most of the investigations have been focused on preparing TiO2 sensitive to visible light during the past several years [10–13]. Thus far, many ionic dopants in different valence states have been investigated, including both metallic ions (e.g., Ca2+, Sr2+, Ba2+, Al3+, Ga3+, Cr3+, Fe3+, Co3+, Ce3+, Ln3+, Sn4+, Zr4+, Nb5+, Mo5+, Sb5+ and Ta5+) and nonmetallic ions (e.g., N3+, C4+, S4+, F?, Cl?, and Br?) [14–17]. Particularly, TiO2 doped with Sn has been proved to be an effective method and widely studied. Preparations of Sn-doped TiO2 photocatalysts focus on several methods such as sol-gel [18–21] and hydrothermal syntheses [22, 23], and chemical vapor deposition [24]. Among them, chemical vapor deposition needs special equipment. The other methods have a common ground that the reaction was performed in aqueous solution, and so, it is necessary for all of them to adjust the pH value of the solution to avoid rapid hydrolysis of Ti4+. In this paper, Sn-doped TiO2 was prepared by the vapor transport method of water molecules. It would effectively control the rate of hydrolysis of Ti4+ by adjusting the flow speed of vapor. Abstract: 彩色图像滤波是彩色图像处理的最基本的研究领域之一。彩色图像滤波技术可以分成标量滤波法和矢量滤波法两大类。其中,标量滤波法只是早期的滤波方法。大量的研究表明,矢量滤波法比标量滤波法更加有效,因为它更能保护彩色图像的光谱特性。为使人们对彩色图像矢量滤波技术及其应用有个系统的了解,该文首先全面地总结了彩色图像矢量滤波的基本理论和方法,并跟踪该领域的最新进展,同时分析介绍了彩色图像矢量滤波技术的一些典型应用;然后对彩色图像矢量滤波技术进行了分类,并对每种类型的滤波算法中经典和目前最常用的算法做了详细的介绍和阐述;接着结合笔者对该领域的研究,提出了一些新的研究方法;最后,对于一些有代表性、经常使用的矢量滤波算法,以冲击噪声为例,给出了其视觉上的滤波效果和客观的评估数据。
The True Value of a Sample Composition Is There  [PDF]

Abstract: The core objective of a chemical composition measurement is to determine its true value. However, when measuring the composition of a macroscopic sample with a large number of atoms or molecules, realizing the true value of the measurand at both the macroscopic and microscopic levels remains an unsolved theoretical problem. We find that the true value of a sample composition exists in any subsample of a homogeneous molecular population of the sample. Here, we propose the Central Law of Measurement of the Amount of Substance: “The homogeneity of a sample molecular population represents the measurement accuracy of the sample composition in an analytical procedure”. The Central Law is based on a homogeneous molecular population axiom in which the molecular composition of a sample is identical for any homogeneous subsample. Furthermore, we point out that, at the microscopic scale, Avogadro’s law does not hold true.

Abstract: A skyhook surface sliding mode control method was proposed and applied to the control on the semi-active vehicle suspension system for its ride comfort enhancement. A two degree of freedom dynamic model of a vehicle semi-active suspension system was given, which focused on the passenger’s ride comfort perform-ance. A simulation with the given initial conditions has been devised in MATLAB/SIMULINK. The simula-tion results were showing that there was an enhanced level of ride comfort for the vehicle semi-active sus-pension system with the skyhook surface sliding mode controller.
