Abstract: For graphs $F_n$ and $G_n$ of order $n$, if $R(F_n, G_n)=(\chi(G_n)-1)(n-1)+\sigma(G_n)$, then $F_n$ is said to be $G_n$-good, where $\sigma(G_n)$ is the minimum size of a color class among all proper vertex-colorings of $G_n$ with $\chi(G_n)$ colors. Given $\Delta(G_n)\le \Delta$, it is shown that $P_n$ is asymptotically $G_n$-good if $\alpha(G_n)\le\frac{n}{4}$.
Flexible catalytic site conformations implicated in modulation of HIV-1 protease autoprocessing reactions

Abstract: In this report, we studied two autoprocessing cleavage reactions, one between p6* and PR (the proximal site) and the other in the N-terminal region of p6* (the distal site) catalyzed by the embedded protease, using our cell-based assay. A fusion precursor carrying the NL4-3 derived protease cleaved both sites, whereas a precursor with a pseudo wild type protease preferentially autoprocessed the proximal site. Mutagenesis analysis demonstrated that several residues outside the active site (Q7, L33, N37, L63, C67 and H69) contributed to the differential substrate specificity. Furthermore, the cleavage reaction at the proximal site mediated by the embedded protease in precursors carrying different protease sequences or C-terminal fusion peptides displayed varied sensitivity to inhibition by darunavir, a catalytic site inhibitor. On the other hand, polypeptides such as a GCN4 motif, GFP, or hsp70 fused to the N-terminus of p6* had a minimal effect on darunavir inhibition of either cleavage reaction.Taken together, our data suggest that several non-active site residues and the C-terminal flanking peptides regulate embedded protease activity through modulation of the catalytic site conformation. The cell-based assay provides a sensitive tool to study protease autoprocessing reactions in mammalian cells.HIV-1 protease (PR) is one of three virus-encoded enzymes essential for virus propagation and infectivity. The catalytic site of protease has been mapped to residue D25. Alteration of D25 to A, Y, H, or N completely abolishes enzymatic activity [1-4]. In the HIV-1 infected cell, the protease is initially synthesized as part of the Gag-Pol polyprotein precursor, within which the HIV-1 protease is flanked at the N-terminus by a transframe region named TFR or p6*, and at the C-terminus by the reverse transcriptase (RT) [2,5,6]. Abstract: Based on 294 samples from three companies, this study first tested the psycholog ical property of MBI-GS and made some revisions according to the result. Then 52 4 employees from six companies were invited to join the final survey. CFA was us ed to confirm the construct validity of MBI-GS. T-test and One-way ANOVA showed organizational justice and job burnout was influenced by demographics variables. Hierarchical regression analyses indicated that organizational justice was a po wer predict of job burnout beyond demographics variables. Dominance analysis fur ther indicated that when predicting Emotional Exhaustion 65.91% of the predicted variance was attributed to distributive justice. When predicting Cynicism 56.07 % of the predicted variance was attributed to procedural justice.
The Structure and Measurement of Transformational Leadership in China

Abstract: Data was collected from a diverse sample of 249 managers and employees from different companies using open questionnaire,and then were subjected to content analysis to identify major forms of transofmrational leadership in China.Results revealed 8 dimensions of transformational leadership.The Transformational Leadership Questionnaire(TLQ) was developed through expert discussions.Exploratory Factor Analysis(EFA) of data from a sample of 431 employees showed that transformational leadership was a four-dimension construct in China,which included Morale Modeling,Charisma,(Visionary) and Individualized Consideration.Confirmatory Factor Analysis(CFA) of data from another sample of 440 employees further confirmed TLQ's factorial validity.Internal consistency analyses and hierarchical regression analyses showed that TLQ had suitable reliability and high validity.

Abstract: The parameters of backscattering coefficient model have significant temporal and spatial variability. In order to overcomethis limit, a classification algorithm based on spectra dominant factors for Taihu Lake is established to classify the waterreflectance spectra into three types. Quasi-analytical algorithm and optical closure are used in this paper to stimulate the backscatteringcoefficient for three types of water reflectance spectra in Taihu Lake according to the field measurement reflectancedata. The properties of backscattering coefficient are also analyzed synchronously. On this basics, the backscattering coefficientparametric model for three types of water in Taihu Lake are established. As a result, the difference of the backscattering propertiesin different time and space is converted into the difference of bio-optical properties of dominant factor in water. Thus, theparametric models of backscattering coefficient are demonstrated to be suitable for different parts and different seasons of TaihuLake.

Abstract: 研究的主要目的是考察变革型领导与员工满意度、组织承诺之间的关系,以及变革型领导的作用机制,即变革型领导是否会通过心理授权影响员工满意度与组织承诺。利用14家企业744份调查问卷的结果,采用结构方程模型技术对变革型领导、心理授权、员工满意度、组织承诺之间的关系进行了交叉验证分析。结果表明,愿景激励与德行垂范对组织承诺与员工满意度有显著的影响,而领导魅力与个性化关怀只对员工满意度有显著的影响;心理授权对变革型领导与员工工作态度的关系具有一定的中介作用,愿景激励与德行垂范通过工作意义影响员工满意度与组织承诺;愿景激励通过自我效能影响组织承诺。

Abstract: Behavior Event Interview was used to study a competency model on senior managers in Chinese Communication Enterprises. The results were as follows: a. No significant difference was found between the protocol length of outstanding and average managers. Frequencies of occurrence of most competencies was correlated significantly to protocol length; however few average scores and maximum scores were correlated significantly to protocol length. It seemed that using average score in coding was more suitable. b. G coefficient based on the Generalization Theory showed that the two coders coding were consistent. c. Study on the criterion sample showed that a competency model of senior managers in Chinese Communication Enterprises included: influence, organizational commitment, information seeking, leadership, achievement orientation, interpersonal understanding, initiative, customer service orientation, self confidence, and staff development.

Abstract: 救荒野豌豆(Vicia sativa L.)是豆科野豌豆属植物,是一种优良的绿肥和饲料。根尖用0.005%秋水仙素预处理2小时,改良苯酚品红压片,供核型分析。分带用去壁低渗法制片,BSG技术处理。结果如下:染色体数2n=12。染色体的相对长度在10.64%—21.13%之间。臂比值在1.55—2.88之间。第1和3对为中部着丝点染色体,第2、4、5和6对为次中部着丝点染色体,第5对具随体。其核型公式为2n=12=4m+8sm(2SAT)。带型分析结果如下:第1对染色体具着丝点带和长、短臂上具末端带,第2对染色体除具着丝点带和长、短臂上末端带外,在长臂上还具中间带,第3对带型与第1对相同,第4、6对染色体长、短臂上都具末端带,第5对具着丝点带、末端带和次缢痕带。其带型公式为2n=12=4CT+2CTI_++4T+2CTN。与朱凤绥等人的报道结果有差异。
Psychological Empowerment: Measurement and its Effect on Employee Work Attitude in China

Abstract: The factorial validity of the psychological empowerment scale(PES) developed by Spreitzer was investigated in Chinese context.Exploratory Factor Analysis(EFA) of data from a sample of 395 employees from three different companies showed support for Spreitzer's four empowerment dimensions: Meaning,self-efficacy,self-determination,and impact.And Cronbach's alpha coefficients for all four subscales were above 0.70.Confirmatory Factor Analysis(CFA) of data from another sample of 942 employees further confirmed PES's factorial validity.Finally structure equations modeling(SEM) was used to cross-validate the relationship between psychological empowerment and job satisfaction,organizational commitment,turnover intention and job burnout using the second sample.The results suggested that meaning was positive related to job satisfaction and organizational commitment and negative related to turnover intention and job burnout;self-determination was positive related to job satisfaction and organizational commitment;self-efficacy was positive related to organizational commitment.
