Selection Advantage Pattern of International Sci-Tech Cooperation and Empirical Analysis  [PDF]

Abstract: Traditional international sci-tech cooperation theories mainly focus on the ability and advantage owned by cooperative parties, and according to which to guide the direction of international science and technology cooperation. Based on the integration of traditional theories of international science and technology cooperation and concrete practice, this paper proposes the selection advantage pattern and matching mechanism, which comprehensively take cooperator advantages, specification of project and change in circumstance into account and will play a guiding role in terms of determining the key country or region with which to prior carry out international science and technology cooperation. This paper also gives an analysis of the current status of industry development in Guangdong province and the research upon competitiveness evaluation of the world's related leading technology, puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions on the science and technology cooperation patterns and approaches in terms of technological level and resources of Guangdong province.

Abstract:

Based on the R&D activities of Shanghai’s high-tech industries during 2010 to 2012, this paper uses super efficiency DEA model to analyze and evaluate the R&D efficiency of Shanghai’s high-tech industries. The results show that the R&D efficiency of Shanghai’s high-tech industries has dissimilitude. The R&D efficiency values of some high-tech industries are relatively low. There are many redundancies of R&D personnel input. The input and output structure needs to be optimized. Based on this, the paper summarizes the problems in the R&D activities of Shanghai’s high-tech industries and puts forward some countermeasures.

Regularization and Estimation in Regression with Cluster Variables  [PDF]

Abstract: Clustering Lasso, a new regularization method for linear regressions is proposed in the paper. The Clustering Lasso can select variable while keeping the correlation structures among variables. In addition, Clustering Lasso encourages selection of clusters of variables, so that variables having the same mechanism of predicting the response variable will be selected together in the regression model. A real microarray data example and simulation studies show that Clustering Lasso outperforms Lasso in terms of prediction performance, particularly when there is collinearity among variables and/or when the number of predictors is larger than the number of observations. The Clustering Lasso paths can be obtained using any established algorithm for Lasso solution. An algorithm is proposed to construct variable correlation structures and to compute Clustering Lasso paths efficiently.

Abstract: As an extension concept of LMX, relative leader-member exchange (RLMX) refers to actual level of one’s own LMX quality as compared with the average LMX within the team. This paper distinguishes the definition of RLMX from related constructs, introduces RLMX’s measurement and concludes outcome variables of RLMX which include voice behavior, affective commitment, psychological contract, self-efficacy, etc. At last, we point out the directions of future researches.

Abstract: In the centrosymmetric title complex, [Fe(C18H12N5)2(H2O)2], the FeII ion, lying on an inversion centre, is coordinated by two N,N′-bidentate 5-(pyridin-2-yl)-3-[4-(pyridin-4-yl)phenyl]-1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-ide ligands and two water molecules in a trans-FeO2N4 geometry. In the ligand, the triazole ring makes dihedral angles of 5.21 (18) and 6.7 (2)°, respectively, with the adjacent pyridine and benzene rings. In the crystal, molecules are linked by O—H...N hydrogen bonds, generating a three-dimensional network.

Abstract: The asymmetric unit of the title compound, [Zn(C18H12N5)2(H2O)2], consists a ZnII ion, located on an inversion center, a deprotonated 5-pyridin-2-yl-3-[4-(pyridin-4-yl)phenyl]-1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-ido ligand and a water molecule. The whole molecule is generated by inversion symmetry. The ZnII ion has a distorted octahedral coordination geometry, defined by four N atoms from the two deprotonated organic ligands and two water O atoms. In the crystal, O—H...N hydrogen bonds link the molecules, forming a three-dimensional network.

Effects of Shengji Huayu Recipe and its decomposed formulas on synthesis of collagen types Ⅰ and Ⅲ in granulation tissue of rats in early wound healing

Abstract: Objective: To study the effects of Shengji Huayu Recipe (a traditional Chinese medicine compound recipe for resolving stagnation and promoting granulation) and its decomposed formulas (Huayu Recipe for resolving stagnation and Shengji Recipe for promoting granulation) on the synthesis of collagen types Ⅰ and Ⅲ in granulation tissue of rats in early wound healing. Methods: Twenty-four male Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats with full-thickness skin lesion were randomized into 4 groups: Shengji Huayu Recipe-treated group, Shengji Recipe-treated group, Huayu Recipe-treated group and untreated group. Collagen types Ⅰ and Ⅲ in granulation tissue of the rats were tested with immunohistochemical methods and image analysis. Results: On the third day of wound healing, collagen Ⅰ of the rats in both Shengji Huayu Recipe-treated group and Shengji Recipe-treated group was higher than that in the untreated group, and collagen Ⅰ of the rats in Huayu Recipe-treated group was lower than that in the untreated group (P<0.05). Collagen Ⅲ of the rats in the three treated groups were lower than that in the untreated group (P<0.05). On the seventh day of wound healing, Collagen Ⅰ of the rats in both Shengji Huayu Recipe-treated group and Shengji Recipe-treated group was higher than that in the untreated group (P<0.05), and collagen Ⅲ of the rats in both Shengji Recipe-treated group and Huayu Recipe-treated group was higher than that in the untreated group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Resolving stagnation and promoting granulation therapy can promote the wound healing in rats
