Hierarchical Hypercube Based Pairwise Key Establishment Scheme for Sensor Networks  [PDF]
Int'l J. of Communications, Network and System Sciences (IJCNS) , 2009, DOI: 10.4236/ijcns.2009.22016
Abstract: Security schemes of pairwise key establishment, which enable sensors to communicate with each other se-curely, play a fundamental role in research on security issue in wireless sensor networks. A general frame-work for key predistribution is presented, based on the idea of KDC (Key Distribution Center) and polyno-mial pool schemes. By utilizing nice properties of H2 (Hierarchical Hypercube) model, a new security mechanism for key predistribution based on such model is also proposed. Furthermore, the working per-formance of tolerance resistance is seriously inspected in this paper. Theoretic analysis and experimental fig-ures show that the algorithm addressed in this paper has better performance and provides higher possibilities for sensor to establish pairwise key, compared with previous related works.
Partial Feedback Based Orthogonal Space-Time Block Coding With Flexible Feedback Bits  [PDF]
Lei Wang, Zhigang Chen
Communications and Network (CN) , 2013, DOI: 10.4236/cn.2013.53B2024
Abstract: The conventional orthogonal space-time block code (OSTBC) with limited feedback has fixed p-1 feedback bits for the specific ntp transmit antennas. A new partial feedback based OSTBC which provides flexible feedback bits is proposed in this paper. The proposed scheme inherits the properties of having a simple decoder and the full diversity of OSTBC, moreover, preserves full data rate. Simulation results show that for ntp transmit antennas, the proposed scheme has the similar performance with the conventional one by using p-1 feedback bits, whereas has the better performance with more feedback bits.
Expression of Telomerase Reverse Transcriptase during the Malignant Transformation of Cadmium-Induced Cells  [PDF]
Min Wang, Yixiong Lei
Journal of Geoscience and Environment Protection (GEP) , 2014, DOI: 10.4236/gep.2014.22018
Abstract: The objective of the present study was to investigate human telomerase reverse transcriptase (hTERT) mRNA and protein expressions during the cadmium chloride-induced malignant transformation of human bronchial epithelial (16HBE) cells. Fluorescence quantitative PCR (FQ-PCR) and Western blot analyses were performed to detect the hTERT mRNA and protein expressions in normal 16HBE cells, cadmium chloride-transformed 16HBE cells, and tumorigenic cells from nude mice inoculated with cadmium chloride-transformed 16HBE cells. Under the inner standard of GAPDH, the hTERT mRNA expression was significantly higher at different stages of malignant transformation (cadmium chloride-transformed 16HBE cells at passages 15 and 35 and tumorigenic cells from nude mice) than in normal 16HBE cells, and increased with the development of malignancy (P < 0.01). In addition, hTERT protein expression increased with the development of malignancy. These findings demonstrate that hTERT expression is related to cadmium chlorideinduced malignant transformation. Cadmium chloride-induced malignant transformation is involved in changes in the hTERT activity, and might be an early event in cadmium chloride-induced malignant transformation.
Mapping It out: A Novel Signaling Pathway Linking Aβ-PrPc-Fyn Complex to Cognitive Impairment in Alzheimer’s Disease  [PDF]
Yiling Wang, Lei Xue
Advances in Alzheimer's Disease (AAD) , 2014, DOI: 10.4236/aad.2014.31003
Abstract: Understanding the signaling cascade that leads to the rapid memory and cognitive breakdown in Alzheimer’s disease is the key to finding a potential treatment method for the disease. Recently, Larson et al. connect the roles of major proteins implicated in the disease progression and propose targeting of cellular prion protein (PrPc) as a way of someday rescuing synaptic plasticity in humans with Alzheimer’s, as it has been done on mice.

Trust Development and Transfer from Electronic Commerce to Social Commerce: An Empirical Investigation  [PDF]
Lei Chen, Ruimei Wang
American Journal of Industrial and Business Management (AJIBM) , 2016, DOI: 10.4236/ajibm.2016.65053
Abstract: The development of social networking sites (SNSs) and Web 2.0 technology have given rise to a new electronic commerce paradigm called social commerce. Social commerce is a subset of electronic commerce and uses SNSs for social interactions and user contributions to facilitate the online buying and selling of products and services. Recent years have witnessed the rapid growth of social commerce in China, but users are not willing to share their online shopping information and the intention to use social commerce is lower than traditional electronic commerce. So improving Consumers’ trust and use intention has become a crucial factor in the success of social commerce. Since social commerce users mostly are e-commerce users, this paper discusses whether trust on e-commerce can transfer to social commerce, and what are the factors influencing trust and trust performance of social commerce. The results of an empirical analysis based on a sample of 449 users with online shopping experience indicate that consumers’ trust in e-commerce has a significant positive impact on trust in social commerce and relative advantage; perceived relative advantage and result demonstrability positively affect customers’ trust in social commerce and trust in social commerce positively affects their intention to use; while perceived risk negatively affects a customer’s intention to use.

Li Liu, Lei Wang
Modern Economy (ME) , 2016, DOI: 10.4236/me.2016.79104
Abstract: This paper focuses on the new environment of logistics development in China. From the factor analysis and cost analysis, this paper respectively expounds the factors influencing the carbon cost of distribution and the influence of different low carbon policy of distribution costs, to further prove that joint distribution can effectively optimize the logistics cost. This paper presents a breakthrough in the traditional organizational barriers to make up for traditional contract deficiencies and improve joint distribution safeguard measures of regulations system, in order to provide reference for improving corporate and social logistics cost.
Psychological Contract, Reciprocal Preference and Knowledge Sharing Willingness  [PDF]
Liangtie Dai, Lei Wang
Open Journal of Social Sciences (JSS) , 2016, DOI: 10.4236/jss.2016.48008
Abstract: The paper has undertaken field investigation on 370 knowledge workers in knowledge-based industries which are located in Pearl River Delta region by structured questionnaire, and verifies that the different influence of psychological contract and reciprocal preference on knowledge sharing willingness, and further confirms that the reciprocal preference plays an intermediary in the relationship between psychological contract and knowledge sharing willingness. The result of analysis shows that: 1) Transactional psychological contract has a negative effect on knowledge sharing; 2) Relational psychological contract has a significant positive effect on knowledge sharing; 3) Developmental psychological contract only has a significant negative effect on the explicit knowledge sharing; 4) The reciprocal preference plays an intermediary role in the relationship between transactional psychological contract, relational psychological contract.
The Research on Chinese Corruption and the Strategy of Governance  [PDF]
Yongtao Li, Lei Wang
Theoretical Economics Letters (TEL) , 2016, DOI: 10.4236/tel.2016.66117
Abstract: In recent years, China’s economy has gained a great progress, but corruption is still more serious. Firstly, we discuss the strategy of the existing literature combined with the definition of corruption. Secondly, we make the review and analysis of the literature with China’s problems. At last, I pay attention to two strategies of the governance of corruption, and I also have the same idea that, to be consistent with that, China should strengthen system construction combining with its own culture tradition on the problem of governance of corruption.
A Trust Evaluation Model for Social Commerce Based on BP Neural Network  [PDF]
Lei Chen, Ruimei Wang
Journal of Data Analysis and Information Processing (JDAIP) , 2016, DOI: 10.4236/jdaip.2016.44013
Abstract: Recent years we have witnessed the rapid growth of social commerce in China, but many users are not willing to trust and use social commerce. So improving consumers’ trust and purchase intention has become a crucial factor in the success of social commerce. Business factors, environment factors and social factors including twelve secondary indexes build up a social commerce trust evaluation model. Questionnaires are handed out to collect twelve secondary indexes scores as input of BP neural network and composite score of trust as output. Model simulation shows that both training samples and test samples have low level of average error and standard deviation, which certify that the model has good stability and it is a good method for evaluating social commerce trust.
A Study on the Status Quo of Chinese College Students’ Intercultural Communication Competence  [PDF]
Lei Chen, Zhihui Wang
Chinese Studies (ChnStd) , 2018, DOI: 10.4236/chnstd.2018.72014
Abstract: Intercultural encounters have become a fact of daily life in so many cities as well as towns in China, yet English learning is far from enough for cultivating talents with international vision and research on ICC has stepped on agenda. This paper is aimed at investigating the ICC stat quo of Chinese college students. The questionnaire is designed based on Byram’s YOGA including four aspects—intercultural knowledge, intercultural skills, intercultural attitude, and critical intercultural awareness. Research is done with data from the teacher-questionnaire for finding one focus of the four aspects for further research of influencing factors of ICC and with data from the student-questionnaire, on the presumed potential related factors of ICC like major, gender, cultural curriculums, and experience abroad for finding out Chinese college students’ ICC stat quo. 10 (half science and half literary arts) are interviewed to find out how the results come into being. Through the analysis of teacher-questionnaire data, the author gets that intercultural attitude is of the most importance to ICC. The results come out possibly because the acquiring of intercultural awareness, intercultural skills and intercultural knowledge are decided by intercultural attitude.
