Abstract: It is necessary to identify variables of Positive Psychology related to mental health and well-being. Therefore, the aim of this study was to identify the relationship between gaudiebility and psychopathological symptoms in the Mexican population. The participants were 285 Mexicans between 14 and 78 years old. Gaudiebility was measured with the Gaudiebility Scale of Padrós & Fernández-Castro and psychopathological symptoms with the Symptom Checklist-90 (SCL-90). Results show a statistically significant and negative correlation (-.324, p < .001) in which the higher the gaudiebility, the lower the level of Global Severity Index. Although more research is needed, results suggest that the development of gaudiebility could be a protective factor for mental health.

Pastos y Forrajes , 2008,
Abstract: a simple classification design with factorial arrangement and five replications (25 seeds each) was used in order to know the germination of fresh legume seeds subject to different pregerminative hydration-dehydration treatments and controlled conditions of caloric stress of the substratum. the germinative performance before scarification treatments was previously studied: water at 80oc for 2' (in crotalaria sp. seeds) and h2so4 at 96% during 10' (in seeds from indigofera sp., desmanthus virgatus and centrosema pubescens), which were combined with a treatment of partial hydration in water at alternate temperature of 25/30oc (optimum germination thermoperiod). the partial hydration was carried out until two hours before the beginning of visible germination; in the scarified seeds of indigofera sp., d. virgatus, crotalaria sp. and c. pubescens, this moment was reached at 15, 16, 16 and 19 hours, respectively. air-dehydration took place for 48 hours, until reaching approximately the initial moisture content of the seeds (7-12% on fresh matter base). in all the species, except in d. virgatus, the partial hydration treatments increased the germination percentage, although they caused a higher germination rate. the partial hydration treatments in water are concluded to be adequate for increasing germination of the studied species, except in d. virgatus, under controlled conditions of caloric stress.

Pastos y Forrajes , 2009,
An evaluation was made of the germinative response of 20 legume accessions from different storage times, under inadequate humidity and temperature conditions, and subject to thermal and acid scarification treatments before seeding, with different temperatures of the substratum. Independently from the storage time, the moisture content of the seeds was lower than 15%. The seeds from the accessions with more than 12 years showed germination percentages lower than 10% for all the essayed planting treatments, except in Centrosema pubescens cv. CIAT 438, Crotalaria sp. cv. Derecha, Crotalaria spectabilis, Crotalaria brownii cv. 687, Macroptilium atropurpureum, Stylosanthes guianensis cv. CIAT 136 and Mimosa invisa. The other accessions showed different degrees of viability loss. The best germinative response occurred in Crotalaria sp. cv. Derecha, M. invisa and Indigofera sp., because they reached final germination percentages higher than 70% for, at least, one of the studied seeding thermoperiods.

Abstract: An important use of environmental indicators is oriented to know their individual impact on the whole environment quality. Nevertheless, most of the important causes of environment affectations are derived from multiple interactions between indicators which correspond more specifically to the environmental reality. The affectations derived from interactions should be analyzed and interpreted through numerical expressions representing a relevant challenge for developers of environmental indicators. To cope with the analysis and interpretation problem, we propose in this work a methodology in two senses: in a bottom-up sense a directed graph is built representing interactions between environmental indicators as behavioral relations, which exert an effect on the state of an environmental issue of a site over time (10 years); in a top-down sense to assist users in the analysis and interpretation of interactions through a computer interface that provides users with the capacity of knowing how and what relational behaviors between indicators are affecting, the most or the least, the performance of the environmental issue being studied. This methodology was applied to the analysis an interpretation of interactions between environmental variables that affect the state of an environmental quality issue related with the State of Morelos in Mexico. The results showed the adequate expressivity of a directed graph to represent interactions allowed to verify the coherence of the numerical values associated with their behaviors during a period of time and with their effects on the environmental issue under study.

Digital and nipple suction, rest lingual interposition, and in deglutition, as well as during mouth respiration, are harmful habits interfering in regular pattern of facial growing, and may produce dento-maxillofacial anomalies. Abstract: With 10 million new cases and three million deaths a year, the tuberculosis (TB) is one of the illnesses infectocontagiosasmore important of the world, preceded only by the malaria andthe VIH-SIDA, for what it is supported as one of the illnessestransmissible of big worry and occupation for the systemsof health. But not always it was like that, a moment came in the historyof this illness that one believed inclusive in his eradication, withoutit impeded the appearance of new,and the conjunction of old factorsthey have helped to reposicionar to the TB as a problem of attentionimmediate for the public global health. In this work we developa brief review of four factors that are impactandodeeply in the present and future of the TB: 1) The poverty; 2)The resistance to drugs, 3) The systems of diagnosis, and 4) youraffiliation with the virus of the inmunodefi human science. So much froma global perspective as national, and we conclude with the brief one evaluation on as we are preparing ourselves to face tothe tuberculosis
