N′-(Furan-2-ylmethylene)-2-hydroxybenzohydrazide
Yan-Xia Zhang
Acta Crystallographica Section E , 2008, DOI: 10.1107/s1600536808034636
Abstract: In the title molecule, C12H10N2O3, the aromatic and furan rings form a dihedral angle of 8.89 (1)° and an intramolecular N—H...O hydrogen bond occurs. In the crystal structure, intermolecular O—H...O hydrogen bonds link the molecules into zigzag chains running along the c axis.
The Real Estate Bubble’s Forming and Precaution

Canadian Social Science , 2007,
Abstract: “Bubble” is the excessive growth of the fictitious capital in brief. “The real estate bubble” is one kind of the bubble, and the bubble economy taking real estate as carrier. This paper begin with concept of the bubble of the real estate, analyses the reason which can arouse the real estate bubble, from psychology of investor and speculation, etc. The paper summarize kinds of danger that it will be brought to economy once real estate foam evaporate, and has put forward some effective precautionary measures at the end of the article. Key words: The real estate bubble, Forming reason, The damage, The precaution Résumé: La bulle désigne de manière générale la croissance excessive du capital virtuel.

Abstract: The open environment in cloud computing is much more complex and unpredictable, and can not fully adapt to the new application of computer network such as cloud computing. Combining such security measures of dynamic user behavior trust, effectively confirming the untrusted cloud terminal users and correctly analyzing their abnormal behavior are the basis to ensure cloud security in complex and dynamic environment This paper adopted the method of fuzzy analytic network process(FANP) based on triangular fuzzy numbers, which can reflect the fuzziness of expert evaluation through using fuzzy numbers, and weaken the subjectivity of simply using ANP. The paper also gave a quantization calculation to the weight of each attribute in order to make the evaluation results more objective. The evaluation results provide a quantitative analysis foundation for security control based on dynamic trust and provide the quantitative basis for service providers who adopt a more safe strategy in response to a user's requesting.
Estimating from cross-sectional categorical data subject to misclassification and double sampling: Moment-based, maximum likelihood and quasi-likelihood approaches
Nikos Tzavidis,Yan-Xia Lin
Advances in Decision Sciences , 2006, DOI: 10.1155/jamds/2006/42030
Abstract: We discuss alternative approaches for estimating from cross-sectional categorical data in the presence of misclassification. Two parameterisations of the misclassification model are reviewed. The first employs misclassification probabilities and leads to moment-based inference. The second employs calibration probabilities and leads to maximum likelihood inference. We show that maximum likelihood estimation can be alternatively performed by employing misclassification probabilities and a missing data specification. As an alternative to maximum likelihood estimation we propose a quasi-likelihood parameterisation of the misclassification model. In this context an explicit definition of the likelihood function is avoided and a different way of resolving a missing data problem is provided. Variance estimation for the alternative point estimators is considered. The different approaches are illustrated using real data from the UK Labour Force Survey and simulated data.
The effects of I(1) series on cointegration inference
Yan-Xia Lin,Michael Mccrae
Advances in Decision Sciences , 2002, DOI: 10.1155/s1173912602000160
Abstract: Under traditional cointegration tests, some eligible I(1) time series systems Xt, that are not cointegrated over a given time period, say (0,T1], sometimes test as cointegrated over sub-periods. That is, the system appears to have a stationary linear structure ζ′Xt for certain vector ζ in the period 0T1 when Xt was accepted as I(0) fort≤T1.

Abstract: AIM: To investigate the hepatoprotective activity of tea polyphenols (TP) and its relation with cytochrome P450 (CYP450) expression in mice.METHODS: Hepatic CYP450 and CYPb5 levels were measured by UV-spectrophotometry in mice 2 d after intraperitoneal TP (25, 50 and 100 mg/kg per day). Then the mice were intragastricly pre-treated with TP (100, 200 and 400 mg/kg per day) for six days before paracetamol (1000 mg/kg) was given. Their acute mortality was compared with that of control mice. The mice were pre-treated with TP (100, 200, and 400 mg/kg per day) for five days before paracetamol (500 mg/kg) was given. Hepatic CYP2E1 and CYP1A2 protein and mRNA expression levels were evaluated by Western blotting, immunohistochemical staining and transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction.RESULTS: The hepatic CYP450 and CYPb5 levels in mice of TP-treated groups (100, 200 and 400 mg/kg per day) were decreased in a dose-dependent manner compared with those in the negative control mice. TP significantly attenuated the paracetamol-induced hepatic injury and dramatically reduced the mortality of paracetamol-treated mice. Furthermore, TP reduced CYP2E1 and CYP1A2 expression at both protein and mRNA levels in a dose-dependent manner.CONCLUSION: TP possess potential hepatoprotective properties and can suppress CYP450 expression.
