Abstract: 本文以VO(i-OC_2H_5)_3为原料采用溶胶-凝胶浸渍法在三种不同基片上制备了凝胶薄膜,通过真空热处理得到了 VO_2薄膜。由于 VO_2在67℃左右产生热诱导半导体-金属可逆相变,红外区域透过率在加热前后可变化45%,采用红外光谱及 X 射线衍射法分析了 VO_2薄膜的结构。

Abstract: With the worldwide development of nuclear power plant and requirement of saving energy and resource, high thermal efficiency and economical competitiveness are achieved by using supercritical COR2R with spe-cial thermal properties and better flow and heat transfer characters. In this paper, heat transfer of supercritical COR2R has been investigated in square and triangle array tube-bundle of cooled system in reactor using com-putational fluid dynamics (CFD) code FLUENT, and the basic knowledge of heat transfer of supercritical COR2R and first experience of CFD simulation are obtained. The effect of mesh structures, turbulence models, as well as flow channel size is analyzed. The choice of turbulence model adopted in simulating supercritical COR2R is recommended. Comparing the effect of heat transfer with supercritical COR2R and supercritical water as cooled medium, the results show that the former was higher. The new idea is provided for choice of cooled medium and improving thermal efficiency this paper.
The Jagged-2/Notch-1/Hes-1 Pathway Is Involved in Intestinal Epithelium Regeneration after Intestinal Ischemia-Reperfusion Injury

Abstract: Background Notch signaling plays a critical role in the maintenance of intestinal crypt epithelial cell proliferation. The aim of this study was to investigate the role of Notch signaling in the proliferation and regeneration of intestinal epithelium after intestinal ischemia reperfusion (I/R) injury. Methods Male Sprague-Dawley rats were subjected to sham operation or I/R by occlusion of the superior mesenteric artery (SMA) for 20 min. Intestinal tissue samples were collected at 0, 1, 2, 4, and 6 h after reperfusion. Proliferation of the intestinal epithelium was evaluated by immunohistochemical staining of proliferating nuclear antigen (PCNA). The mRNA and protein expression levels of Notch signaling components were examined using Real-time PCR and Western blot analyses. Immunofluorescence was also performed to detect the expression and location of Jagged-2, cleaved Notch-1, and Hes-1 in the intestine. Finally, the γ-secretase inhibitor DAPT and the siRNA for Jagged-2 and Hes-1 were applied to investigate the functional role of Notch signaling in the proliferation of intestinal epithelial cells in an in vitro IEC-6 culture system. Results I/R injury caused increased intestinal crypt epithelial cell proliferation and increased mRNA and protein expression of Jagged-2, Notch-1, and Hes-1. The immunofluorescence results further confirmed increased protein expression of Jagged-2, cleaved Notch-1, and Hes-1 in the intestinal crypts. The inhibition of Notch signaling with DAPT and the suppression of Jagged-2 and Hes-1 expression using siRNA both significantly inhibited the proliferation of IEC-6 cells. Conclusion The Jagged-2/Notch-1/Hes-1 signaling pathway is involved in intestinal epithelium regeneration early after I/R injury by increasing crypt epithelial cell proliferation.
Nonlinear Adaptive PID Control for Greenhouse Environment Based on RBF Network

Abstract: This paper presents a hybrid control strategy, combining Radial Basis Function (RBF) network with conventional proportional, integral, and derivative (PID) controllers, for the greenhouse climate control. A model of nonlinear conservation laws of enthalpy and matter between numerous system variables affecting the greenhouse climate is formulated. RBF network is used to tune and identify all PID gain parameters online and adaptively. The presented Neuro-PID control scheme is validated through simulations of set-point tracking and disturbance rejection. We compare the proposed adaptive online tuning method with the offline tuning scheme that employs Genetic Algorithm (GA) to search the optimal gain parameters. The results show that the proposed strategy has good adaptability, strong robustness and real-time performance while achieving satisfactory control performance for the complex and nonlinear greenhouse climate control system, and it may provide a valuable reference to formulate environmental control strategies for actual application in greenhouse production.
The luminescence properties of Sr3Gd(BO3)3: Tb3+ phosphors under vacuum ultraviolet excitation

Abstract: Tb3+-activated Sr3Gd(BO3)3 green phosphors were prepared by conventional solid-state reaction. The vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) excitation, photoluminescence (PL) and decay properties of the phosphors in the visible range were investigated. The excitation spectrum showed a strong broad band from 160 to 200 nm with a maximum at 183 nm which was adjacent to the VUV excitation light source of 172 nm. Under excitation at 172 nm, the optimum co-doping concentration of Tb3+ was 10 mol%, and the emission intensity of Sr3Gd0.9(BO3)3:0.1Tb3+ was comparable to that of commercial Zn2SiO4:Mn2+. The strongest emission peak of Sr3Gd0.9(BO3)3:0.1Tb3+ was at 543 nm with chromaticity coordinates of (0.2626, 0.4922) and a lifetime of 2.32 ms. The optical properties of the green phosphor Sr3Gd(BO3)3: Tb3+ make it suitable for use in Hg-free fluorescent lamps and plasma display panels.
Discovery and identification of Serum Amyloid A protein elevated in lung cancer serum

Abstract: Two hundred and eighteen serum samples from 175 lung cancer patients and 43 healthy individuals were analyzed by using Surface Enhaced Laser Desorption/Ionization Time of Flight Mass Spectrome-try (SELDI-TOF-MS). The data analyzed by both Biomarker Wizard and Biomarker Patterns software showed that a protein peak with the molecular weight of 11.6 kDa significantly increased in lung cancer. Meanwhile, the level of this biomarker was progressively increased with the clinical stages of lung cancer. The candidate biomarker was then obtained from tricine one-dimensional sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis by matching the molecular weight with peaks on WCX2 chips and was identified as Serum Amyloid A protein (SAA) by MALDI/MS-MS and database searching. It was further validated in the same serum samples by immunoprecipitation with commercial SAA antibody. To confirm the SAA differential expression in lung cancer patients, the same set of serum samples was measured by ELISA assay. The result showed that at the cutoff point 0.446 (OD value) on the Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) curve, SAA could better discriminate lung cancer from healthy individuals with sensitivity of 84.1% and specificity of 80%. These findings demonstrated that SAA could be characterized as a biomarker related to pathological stages of lung cancer.
An Experimental Study Towards Understanding Data Delivery Performance Over a WSN Link

Abstract: The performance of a wireless sensor network (WSN) depends fundamentally on how its various parameters are configured under different link quality conditions. Surprisingly, even though WSNs have been extensively researched, there still lacks an in-depth understanding on how parameter configurations affect, in particular jointly, the performance under different link quality conditions. To fill the gap, this paper presents an extensive experimental study on the performance of a wireless sensor network link, where measurement data of more than 200 million packets were collected. Different from existing work, we consider major parameters from different layers together and measure their joint effects on key performance metrics under an extensive set of parameter configurations. Based on the large amount of measurement data, we investigate the impacts of these parameters and their joint configurations on the performance, introduce empirical models to theoretically reason the impacts, discuss implications of the obtained results, and suggest practical guidelines for parameter configurations. Through these, a comprehensive overview of parameter configuration impacts on the erformance is provided, which provides new insights on wireless link performance in WSNs.

Abstract: Mobile payment service is exploding at an impressive rate as the global mobile payment revenue almost tripled over the last five years. But the reasons behind this phenomenon are still not clear. This paper thus focuses on identifying the key factors that contribute to the success of mobile payments. We firstly take a look at the current status of mobile payments. With this brief background in mind, we then address several questions associated with three key actors of mobile payment ecosystem: m-payment service provider, consumer, merchants. Specifically, the business model of mobile payments firms (including value proposition, market contribution, revenue source), consumer preferences and merchant. Conclusions: Mobile payment is gradually developing towards diversification and cross-border integration with highly sophisticated technology behind; the success of mobile payments application is based on aprofitable and valuable business model; in order to gain a competitive advantage when facing with fierce competition in the market, firms should respond best to consumer change and merchant feedback.

Abstract: H.264 video coding standard introduces motion estimation with multiple block sizes to achieve a considerably higher coding efficiency than other video coding algorithms. However, this comes at the greatly increased computing complexity at the encoder. In this paper, a method is proposed to eliminate some redundant coding modes that contribute very little coding gain. The simulation results show that the algorithm can remarkably decrease the complexity at the encoder while keeping satisfying coding efficiency.
