EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF CONDITION FOR BINARY AMORPHOUS ALLOYS FORMATION BY LIQUID QUENCHING

Abstract: An experimental study was carried out on the formation condition of the amorphous state of binary alloys of transition metals. Intermediate phase (incongruent-melting compounds of lower melting temperature and congruent-melting compounds of lower melting temperature)might affect the formation of the amorphous state. A so called "deep eutectic gorge" composition tends more strongly to form an amorphous state. A new amorphous state of binary alloys Hf-Pd has been prepared.A typical structure of amorphous state in binary alloys Sm-Fe was obtained.

Abstract: A proposal was made of the increasing tendency of amorphous formation of the binary transition metal alloys caused by the incongruent-and congruent-melting compounds of lower melting temperature on the basis of synthesis of the previous experimental data, including the author's. The effects of crystalline structure, atomic radius difference, electronic structure and electro-negativity difference of eIements were discussed. An empirical approach to the formation of binary amorphous alloys by liquid quenching was summarized. Thus, certain new alloy systems, e.g., Ti-Pd, La-Si, Zr-Ga, Hf-Pd, etc. may be developed.

Abstract:

Main pollutants of the urban scenic river in Nanjing City are studied in this paper. In the study area a total of 39 monitoring points are set in natural water, around pumping stations and near the tail water of sewage treatment plant. Through the monitoring of pollution sources of receiving conventional index, the pollution sources distribution and river pollution factors are detailed analyzed, as nutrient salts, heavy metals, and environmental endocrine disruptors. And sources of the pollution factors are analyzed by principal component analysis to get the main pollution factors in this channel.

Abstract:
The article mainly analyzes the deposit insurance system in our country promulgated after the provision for the impact of bank loan loss provisions. Empirical study found that the deposit insurance system in our country was promulgated in 2015, the bank’s loan loss provisions increased, among them, the big bank loan loss provisions significantly increased. After separating the manipulated loan loss provisions, we found that the manipulated loan loss provisions increased. Further study found that, following the promulgation of the deposit insurance system, managers in commercial bank weakened the motive of income smoothing, but the bank’s capital management behavior does not.
Effects of La2(CO3)3 on microstructure and mechanical properties of ZM-5 magnesium alloy

Abstract: The optical microscope (OM), scanning electron microscope (SEM) with energy dispersive spectrometer(EDS) and X-ray diffractometer (XRD) are employed to analyze the effect of La2(CO3)3 on microstructure and mechanical properties of ZM-5 magnesium alloy, and effect of holding time on mechanical properties of the alloy. Experimental results show that the as-cast microstructure of ZM-5 alloy with the addition of La2(CO3)3 is composed of α-Mg, β-Mg17Al12, Al11La3 and Al8LaMn4 phases and the microstructure can be refined significantly by adding La2(CO3)3. As a result, the morphology of coarse β-Mg17Al12 phase can be alternated from the semi-continuous net shape to a discontinuous, even to a granular shape, and to be diminished in their sizes and dispersed in their distributions.
Impacts of Bad Data on the PMU based Line Outage Detection

Abstract: Power systems become more prone to cyber-attacks due to the high integration of information technologies. In this paper, we demonstrate that the outages of some lines can be masked by injecting false data into a set of measurements. The success of the topology attack can be guaranteed by making that: 1)the injected false data obeys KCL and KVL to avoid being detected by the bad data detection program in the state estimation; 2)the residual is increased such that the line outage cannot be detected by PMU data. A quadratic programming problem is set up to determine the optimal attack vector that can maximize the residual of the outaged line. The IEEE 39-bus system is used to demonstrate the masking scheme.
Foreign gene transfer into Chinese shrimps (Penaeus chinensis) with gene gun

Abstract: Plasmids pG DNA-RZ1 with aGFP (green fluorescent protein) reporter gene and a ribozyme gene incising penaeid white spot baculovirus (WSBV) were first introduced into the fertilized eggs of Chinese shrimps by gene gun. The treated and control samples of different development stages were observed with a fluorescent microscope. The transient expression ofGFP gene was high in nauplius and zoea larvae. Results from RT-PCR and PCR for adults showed that the foreign genes had been transferred into the shrimps and had expressed the corresponding proteins. This work has established a transgenic method for penaeid shrimps, which will set base for the application of genetic engineering breeding into industry.
Photo-induced electron transfer between hypocrellins and nano-sized semiconductor CdS

Abstract: Both HA-CdS and HB-CdS (Hys-CdS, Hys represents HA, HB) complex systems were established according to the dynamics of heterogeneous electron-transfer process $\mu = E_{S^* /S^ + } - E< 0$ . In these systems, the electron transferring from1Hys* to conduction band of CdS is feasible. Determined from the fluorescence quenching, the apparent association constants (Kapp) between Hypocrellin A (HA), Hypocrellin B. (HB) and CdS sol. were about 940 (mol/L) 1, 934 (mol/L) 1, respectively. Fluorescence lifetime measurements gave the rate constant for the electron transfer process from1HA*,1HB* into conduction band of CdS semiconductor as 5.16 × 109 s 1, 5.10 × 109 s 1, respectively. TEMPO (2,2,6,6-tetramethy-1-piperdinyloxy), a stable nitroxide radical, was used in the kinetic study of the reduction reaction taking place on the surface of a CdS colloidal semiconductor, kinetics equation of the reaction was determined with the electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) method, and the reaction order of TEMPO is zero. When Hys were added, the rate of EPR increased greatly. By comparing rate constants, the Hys-CdS systems were revealed to be about 350 times more efficient than CdS sol. alone in the photoreduction of TEMPO under visible light. It suggests that Hys can be used as efficient sensitizers of a colloidal semiconductor in the application of solar energy.

Abstract: Via saturated absorption spectroscopy and the third-harmonic detection technique, the hyperfine spectra of 127I2 near 532 nm have been observed within the tuning range of a mini Nd: YVO4-KTP laser. The laser is frequency stabilized against one hyperfine structure (hfs) component of 127I2. The analysis of error signal shows that it is possible to realize a frequency stability of 3.0 × 10 13 at 1 s average time.
