Abstract: A collapse and revival shape of Rabi oscillations in an electron spin of a single nitrogen-vacancy centre has been observed in diamond at room temperature. Because of hyperfine interaction between the host 14N nuclear spin and the nitrogen-vacancy centre electron spin, different orientations of the 14N nuclear spins lead to a triplet splitting of the transition between ground state (ms =0) and excited state (ms =1). The manipulation of the single electron spin of nitrogen-vacancy centre is achieved by using a combination of selective microwave excitation and optical pumping at 532 nm. Microwaves can excite three transitions equally to induce three independent nutations and the shape of Rabi oscillations is a combination of the three nutations.

Abstract: The title compound, C14H14N2O2, was obtained by a condensation reaction between o-vanillin and 5-methylpyridin-2-amine. In the molecule, the dihedral angle between the pyridine and benzene rings is 9.08 (13)°. An intramolecular hydrogen bond involving the imine N atom and the hydroxyl group may influence the conformation of the molecule. The crystal structure is stabilized by weak C—H...O hydrogen bonds.
Development of a Distribution System for Measuring Nozzle Integrative Parameters

Abstract: The experimental system used in this study was equipped with sensors and computer-controlled processing technology. This system was used in the measurement of major performance parameters such as pressure, flux, spray angle, spray distribution character of the nozzle and its integrative performance parameter. It could also achieve precise and synchronous measurements and process multiple parameters. Measuring position of a single nozzle was also available for three-dimensional adjustment by nozzle transmission frame. The boom could achieve two-dimensional precision adjustment. Fluid power supply system could ensure the accurate measurement of nozzle flow between 50~15000 ml/min. The control system consisted of a PC, a CCD image acquisition system, data acquisition cards, sensors, and single chip microcomputer. The spray angle was measured by image processing technique. Data fusion technology was used to improve the precise measurement of spray angle. Neural network technology was used to improve the precision and speed of the system. The results showed that it is promising for using this system for measuring nozzle integrative parameter. Keywords: Nozzle; performance test; image processing; and neural network
Preparation and Photoelectric Properties of Al-Ti Codoped ZnO Thin Films with [100] Preferred Orientation

Abstract: 采用常压固相烧结法制备了Al-Ti共掺ZnO靶材,采用射频磁控溅射技术及真空退火工艺,在普通玻璃衬底上制备了具有100]取向Al-Ti共掺杂ZnO薄膜(ZATO).采用X射线衍射(XRD)、扫描电子显微镜(SEM)对ZATO薄膜的生长机理、显微结构、形貌进行了测试分析,用四探针测试仪、紫外-可见分光光度计及荧光光谱仪对ZATO薄膜的光电性能进行了测试分析.结果表明, ZATO薄膜经500℃保温3h退火后,择优取向由(002)向(100)方向转变;此时,衍射谱上还观察到超点阵衍射线条. 100]取向ZATO薄膜的光学带隙从退火前的3.29降至2.86,平均可见光透过率从90%降至70%,表现为一般的透过性;而电阻率则从1.89×10-2Ω·cm降至1.25×10-3Ω·cm,呈现较好的导电性.薄膜中均出现了380nm附近的带边发射(NBE)峰以及410、564nm的深能级发射峰,且经500℃保温3h退火后,这些峰的位置并未改变,但峰强均明显减弱.对上述实验机理进行了分析讨论.
Correlation between Displacement Damage Dose and Proton Irradiation Effects on GaInP/GaAs/Ge Space Solar Cells

Abstract: The irradiation effects of 0.28-2.80MeV protons on GaInP/GaAs/Ge solar cells have been analysed, and then correlated with the displacement damage dose. The results of I-V and spectral response measurements, combined with the SRIM-derived vacancies produced rates, show that the degradation of the solar cells is largely determined by the displacement damage of the GaAs sub-cell. Thus the SRIM-derived NIEL values for protons in the GaAs sub-cell are used to calculate the displacement damage dose. It is shown that the irradiation effects of the solar cells caused by protons at different energies are correlated well with the aid of displacement damage dose.

Abstract: A new A site complex lead-free ferroelectric ceramics of (1-x)Bi0.5(Na0.82K0.18)0.5TiO3-xBiCrO3(BNKT-BCx) was prepared by a conventional solid state reaction method and dielectric properties of the system in the temperature from room temperature to 500 ere investigated. It can be evidently seen that there are two abnormal dielectric peaks and a dielectric loss peak with increasing temperature. The dielectric constant near temperature of low abnormal peak has obvious frequency dependence, and Curie temperature shifts insignificantly with increasing frequency, which is different from the characteristics of typical relaxor ferroelectrics. It suggests that relaxor ferroelectrics can be divided into the intrinsic relaxor ferroelectrics and extrinsic relaxor ferroelectrics. The frequency dependence near the temperature of low dielectric peak is extrinsic relaxor which is created by space charges and defects dipole by using the |ü/EM>r-T curves of poled and unpoled samples.
Solid-State Optimal Phase-Covariant Quantum Cloning Machine

Abstract: Here we report an experimental realization of optimal phase-covariant quantum cloning machine with a single electron spin in solid state system at room temperature. The involved three states of two logic qubits are encoded physically in three levels of a single electron spin with two Zeeman sub-levels at a nitrogen-vacancy defect center in diamond. The preparation of input state and the phase-covariant quantum cloning transformation are controlled by two independent microwave fields. The average experimental fidelity reaches 85.2% which is very close to theoretical optimal fidelity 85.4% and is beyond the bound 83.3% of universal cloning.
