Stability Analysis and Investigation of a Magnetoelastic Beam Subjected to Axial Compressive Load and Transverse Magnetic Field

Abstract: The interactive behaviors between transverse magnetic fields and axial loads of a magnetoelastic (ME) beam subjected to general boundary conditions are investigated. In particular, the instability criterion for the magneto-mechanical buckling problem is intricately discussed based on the structure characteristics and the initial conditions. The equation of motion for the proposed physical model is introduced according to the Hamilton's principle, and the stability criterion is obtained by using the method of multiple scales implemented on both spatial and time domains. Eventually a so-called Schrodinger equation with cubic nonlinearity (NLS) can be generated by suitably changing the variables; as a result, the stable criterion for the magnetoelastic beam can be acquired after dissecting the nonlinear Schrodinger equation and requiring the imaginary part of the time domain solution to be vanished. Stability criterion curve for the dispersion equation of the ME beam is firstly depicted in order to reveal the magnificent influence of the structure characteristic itself, followed by the instability constraint due to the variation of initial conditions and the observation locations. The results indicate that the prior one actually denotes a parabola, whereas the latter one is sometimes a diamond-like or ellipse-like region spotting along the prior one.

Abstract: The asymmetric unit of the title CdII compound, [Cd(N3)2(C12H8N2)]n, contains a CdII atom, located on a twofold axis passing through the middle of the phenanthroline molecule, one azide ion and half of a 1,10-phenanthroline molecule. The CdII atom exhibits a distorted octahedral coordination including one chelating 1,10-phenanthroline ligand and four azide ligands. The crystal structure features chains along the c direction in which azide groups doubly bridge two adjacent CdII atoms in an end-on (EO) mode. Interchain π–π stacking interactions, with centroid–centroid separations of 3.408 (2) between the central aromatic rings of 1,10-phenanthroline molecules, lead to a supramolecular sheet parallel to the bc plane.
Moving object detection based on consecutive blocks frame difference and background subtraction

Abstract: This paper proposed a novel approach for moving detection, which employed blocks frame difference and background subtraction. It used block processing method to establish the initial background model and it divided the sequence ima-ge of video into several blocks which was detected by self-adaptive threshold inter-frame difference, and separeted roughly the motion region. Then it carried on fine-grained segmentation through double-threshold background subtracting for the motion region, and used the adaptive background updating to overcome the light changing and background interference. Experimental results indicate that the method has the characteristics of fast operation and great robustness, and it can detect the moving object effectively.

Abstract: 利用实时全息干涉法、高分辨率数字摄像机与计算机图像处理系统相链接的三位一体化测量系统,连续动态观测了单轴受压砂岩、花岗岩和压剪受荷砂岩试样裂纹扩展与变形破坏过程;基于动态干涉条纹的定量分析,描述了岩石微裂纹孕育起裂、扩展与闭合的动态交替演化过程,计算了岩石裂纹扩展速度与蠕变扩展速率和裂纹面的扩展变形量与蠕变变形量,实现了岩石内部Ⅰ型、Ⅰ—Ⅱ复合型、Ⅰ-Ⅱ-Ⅲ复合型裂纹力学性状动态演变的有效判识。
Design and implementation of smart card key management system based on threshold scheme

Abstract: In modern cryptography, the security of cryptography depends on the security of the cryptographic key. In order to ensure the security of eryptographie products, a smart card key management system based on threshold scheme was proposed and implemented in this paper. By introducing the threshold eryptosystem and the mutual dynamic authentication mechanisms based on smart card, the security problems of key generation, storage, distribution, and the security of the application process were solved effectively.
Damaging effect of pressurized CO2 on cell membrane of Escherichia coli

Abstract: Objective] The damage in the cell membrane of bacteria could be reflected on the leakiness of the material in bacteria and the absorption of dye in bacteria. Compared with pasteurization (63 °C, 30 min), the damaging effect of pressurized CO2 on the cell membrane of Escherichia coli was studied. The aim of the study was to analyze the relationship between the death of Escherichia coli and the damage of cell membrane. Methods] The change of cell membrane permeability and the leakiness of protein and nucleic acid in Escherichia coli were detected. The change of Escherichia coli morphology was observed by TEM. Results] The results indicated that pressurized CO2 treatment induced the change of cell membrane permeability of Escherichia coli. Pressurized CO2 treatment induced the leakiness of protein in Escherichia coli, but the time of leakiness was lagged behind the time of 99% Escherichia coli death, so it was not the reason for death, it was only the secondary phenomenon of death. The death of Escherichia coli could be related to the leakiness of nucleic acid induced by the pressurized CO2 treatment. The death of Escherichia coli could be related to the ultrastructure change of Escherichia coli induced by the pressurized CO2 treatment. Conclusion] There was direct relationship between the damaging effect of pressurized CO2 on cell membrane of Escherichia coli and the death of Escherichia coli.

Abstract: This paper introduced instruction set extension to accelerate the software implementation of Montgomery multiplication in GF(2m).The performance estimate results show that instruction set extension can rapidly increase the implementation efficiency, especially when polynomials multiplication instruction MULGF2 and polynomials multiply-accumulate instruction MAGF2 are both available, and the larger the word size of processor is, the better the performance is.

Abstract: A scheme is proposed for generating a three-atom maximal entanglement W state. It is based on the simultaneous nonresonant interaction of atoms with a single-mode cavity field. Our scheme is insensitive to the cavity field, so the cavity field in our scheme can be initially in thermal states.
