Abstract: This paper proposes a novel mixed genetic algorithm——Active Mutating Anneal-Genetic Algorithm(AMAGA) based on sorting and describes an elevation beam widening method of spaceborne SAR antenna, which only changes the phases at part of array elements and so called Partly Phase-only Weighting Method (PPWM). Moreover, the resulting phases need not be quantized and can be directly applied to engineering project. In comparison with the fully phase-only weighting method for beam widening, the partly phase-only method for beam widening is more realizable and more flexible. Simulated examples show that the mainlobe notch of widened beam can be controlled finely with lower sidelobe.

Abstract: A core problem in large-scale Internet peer-to-peer application systems is the efficient location of the node that stores desired resource. A DHT resource location method using interest-based locality was presented. This method introduced unstructured P2P to Chord, making the best use of the proximity of peers in underlying physical network and the locality of the interest among peers. Simulation tests show that this method is superior to original Chord at path length and access latency.

Abstract: On the basis of the derived overall rate of decomposition in representative elementary volume in the heat transfer controlled regime, a one-dimensional mathematical model for the calcination of limestone coupled with heat and mass transfer in a packed bed was established by applying local thermal non-equilibrium assumption. Adopting a finite volume method to solve this model numerically, the mathematical model was validated by comparison with single particle experiment in the literature. The gas temperature and solid matrix temperature profiles, the concentration profile of product gas as well as the distribution of the fractional conversion of solid reactant were predicted under various conditions. The results are useful in the conceptual design and operation of packed bed reactor that is involved with strongly endothermic reactions.

Abstract: Considering that the overall rate of a single pellet is co-dominated by intra-particle diffusion and chemical reaction, the overall rate of representative-element volume was derived from that of a single pellet. Then, the convection-diffusion-nonlinear reaction equation was established, and solved numerically. Taking the indirect reduction of iron ores as a case, the mass transfer, reaction and conversion process occuring within one-dimensional fixed bed was discussed. The results show that the size of pellets and convection velocity influence notably reaction and conversion process. Their influence can be measured by the Thiele module and Peclet module respectively. Because the Thiele module depends on L2 positively, and Pe* does on L positively, the length of reactor L is an important factor to influence the performance of reactor itself. The effect of convection on reaction and conversion descends, and gaseous conversion increases with increasing ratio of y/Pe*.

Abstract: genera of micromycetes were isolated from 48 selected areas, which belong to seven different mountainous ecological environments of Yunnan Province, China. Niche breadths of the micromycetes and their biodiversities in the 48 sites were calculated by Shannon-Viener Index respectively. The relationships of the 34 genera based on their distribution in 48 sites, and the relationships of the 48 sites based on their similarities of fungaldistribution were analyzed by UPGMA method. It was showed that the UPGMA method was valuable for theanalysis of micromycetes and their niches. UPGMA dendrograms demonstrated the change pattern of niche breadths among the 34 genera of micromycetes and the clustering characteristics of 48 sites.

Abstract: Natural regeneration of vegetation is a complicated ecological process,which plays important roles in the multiplication,spread and continuation of plant population and the stabilization and succession of plant community,being a hotspot in the research of vegetation dynamics.At present,many researches at home and abroad are starting with certain or several stages in the process of vegetation regeneration to approach the effects of ecological factors on the regeneration,or trying to reveal the mechanisms of the regeneration from the aspect of the disturbances caused by forest gap,fire,and animal activities.This paper summarized the researches on the modes of the natural regeneration of vegetation,effects of disturbances on the regeneration,and the regeneration of plant communities.Some suggestions for the further study in this field were put forward.

Abstract: Genomic DNA of two fungi Thamnidium elegans and Umbelopsis isabellina were extracted with an amended Cetyltrimethyl Ammonium Bromide (CTAB) method. This modified method uses repeated freezing in liquid nitrogen and thawing with combination of shocking with glass beads to replace of the traditional method. Quality and concentration of DNA extracted by the modified methodwere tested. Compared with the traditional method, higher yield and purity of genomic DNA were obtained with less amount ofmycelium. The result indicted that this is a simple and highly efficient method, which is suitable to treat many samples at one time and for basic molecular experiments, such as restriction endonuclease reaction and PCR.

Abstract: Type III secretion system (TTSS) is an important virulence factor encoding by pseudomonas aeruginosa. About 40 genes are involved and they function as structure proteins, chaperons, regulators, and effectors proteins, respectively. Although some genes have been studied previously, functions of many genes remained unknown. Pcr2 gene is the third gene of popN operon that is one of the five operons of the TTSS gene clusters. Its functions were investigated in this study. First, by characterization of the phenotypes of pcr(2-) mutant, we found that the abilities of secreting or translocating effectors proteins were significantly damaged in the absence of Pcr2 protein, suggesting that Pcr2 protein involved in both the secretion and translocation processes of TSS. Second, evidences were provided that no PopN protein was detectable in supernatant of pcr(2-) mutant culture. Combined with the data from the bacterial two-hybrid system, we can conclude that Pcr2 protein might function as part of a chaperone complex for the PopN protein. Third, Pcr2 protein was found secreted in a TTSS-dependent manner, suggesting that secreted Pcr2 may play a role in the TTSS needle biogenesis.

Abstract: 白念珠菌(Candida albicans)是一种重要条件致病菌,近年来引起人们的关注,大量的研究由此展开。对环境的改变积极做出应答是白念珠菌致病的重要条件。外界环境尤其是pH的变化影响着白念珠菌的形态和毒力。RIM101途经是真菌中一种保守的信号转导途径,白念珠菌也存在RIM101途经,并且该途径至少部分地控制着细胞对pH的应答。这里主要综述了近年来有关白念珠菌RIM101途径、pH应答及两者相互关系的研究。
