Abstract: A new particle filter based on interval filter and particle diffraction is proposed for the on-line estimation of non-Gaussian and nonlinear system with uncertain dynamics modeling. This algorithm computes the more accurate importance density function, which integrates the latest observations into the system state transition density, so that the approximation to the system posterior density is improved. At the same time, the workload of calculation is reduced by treating particle diffraction like light diffraction. A simulation experiment on the SINS/CNS (strap-down inertial navigation system/celestial navigation system) attitude estimation shows the effectiveness and robustness of the improved algorithm.

Abstract: 基于人口生活用水的人户实地调查,结合中国北方县域单元人口和气象台站降水量,厘定了不同降水带及其不同时段的人均生活耗水系数(η),同时得出相应地带不同时代的人口生活耗水量。研究表明:不同降水带的,7值从20世纪50年代到90年代增长速度加快,100-200、200-400、400—600和600—800mm降水带η值增加幅度依次为1.84倍、2.62倍、2.84倍和2.68倍;从不同降水带来看。人口生活耗水量从20世纪50年代到90年代都是400-600mm降水带最高,然后向两边依次递减。降水带人口生活耗水量与相应降水带面积的比值(k)普遍增加,表明中国北方各降水带人口生活耗水量对各带的生态环境压力在增大。研究可为估算不同地带人口生活用水量、建立家户层次的水资源高效利用模式提供参考。

Abstract: Ammonia oxidizing bacteria (AOB) play an important role in global nitrogen cycle. This paper reviewed the research advances on molecular ecology of ammonia oxidizing bacteria. The analysis of systematic evolution of AOB based on 16S rRNA reveals that the evolution of AOB is quite simple, which belongs to beta and gamma subgroup of Proteobacteria. This paper also introduced the main molecular ecological methods in the study of AOB, which included denature gradient gel electrophoresis (DGGE), terminal restriction fragment length polymorphism (T-RFLP), fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH), and real-time PCR, summarized the effects of ecological factors on the communities and populations of AOB, and prospected the research directions on molecular ecology of AOB.

Abstract: Thermoelectric power measurements are reported for seven samples with different x in the Gd1.85-xSmxCe0.15CuO4 system at temperatures ranging from 80K to 300K. For Sm-rich superconducting samples, thermoelectric power S has a small negative value and is almost temperature independent. As the content of Sm decreases, the absolute value of S increases and a broad valley appears in the S(T) curve. The results which can be interpreted in terms of a two-channel model support the existence of mid-gap states with Fermi level close to the minimum of the density of states as well as the coexistence of electron and hole carriers. It is suggested that a linear temperature dependence of S with a small negative slope is close to the intrinsic behavior in the a-b plane of normal states for superconducting samples.

Abstract: 以木聚糖、稻秆和棕榈壳为原料,采用间歇水解实验台,在压力4.0:MPa、液固质量比20:1、搅拌转速500 r/min的条件下,在温度16-220℃、时间0~60 min范围内进行了水解动力学研究,经数据拟合得到水解反应动力学参数.研究表明,3种原料的水解行为大致遵循一级连续反应动力学模型,温度和时间是影响水解效果的主要因素.木聚糖水解反应活化能约为65.58 kJ/mol,糖降解活化能达147.21 kJ/mol,故水解产物中的还原糖能不断累积.稻杆和棕榈壳组分相对复杂,水解活化能分别为68.76和95.19 kJ/mol,均高于相应的糖降解活化能(47.08和79.74 kJ/mo1),在水解过程中必须严格控制反应时间,减少糖的降解.

Abstract: 结合基于竞争与调度机制的混合型方案是高效的无线传感器网络MAC协议的重要解决思路。在深入研究混合型协议μ-MAC的基础上,提出一种增强型的协议Eμ-MAC。它针对周期性数据采集型应用,跨层参考应用层的流量信息来分配时槽,并解决了μ-MAC中GT子信道效率低、动态拓扑适应性及时钟同步问题。仿真结果表明,相对于μ-MAC,Eμ-MAC增强了协议的扩展性,进一步提高了节能效率。
Demethylzeylasteral Exhibits Strong Inhibition towards UDP-Glucuronosyltransferase (UGT) 1A6 and 2B7

Abstract: Inhibition of UDP-glucuronosyltransferase (UGT) isoforms can result in severe clinical results, including clinical drug-drug interactions (DDI) and metabolic disorders of endogenous substances. The present study aims to investigate the inhibition of demethylzeylasteral (an important active component isolated from Tripterygium wilfordii Hook F.) towards three important UGT isoforms UGT1A6, UGT1A9 and UGT2B7. The results showed that 100 μM of demethylzeylasteral exhibited strong inhibition towards UGT1A6 and UGT2B7, with negligible influence towards UGT1A9. Furthermore, Dixon and Lineweaver-Burk plots showed the inhibition of UGT1A6 and UGT2B7 by demethylzeylasteral was best fit to competitive inhibition, and the inhibition kinetic parameters (Ki) were calculated to be 0.6 μM and 17.3 μM for UGT1A6 and UGT2B7, respectively. This kind of inhibitory effect need much attention when demethylzeylasteral and demethylzeyasteral-containing herbs (e.g., Tripterygium wilfordii Hook F.) were co-administered with the drugs mainly undergoing UGT1A6, UGT2B7-catalyzed metabolism. However, when extrapolating the in vivo clinical results using our present in vitro data, many complex factors might affect final results, including the contribution of UGT1A6 and UGT2B7 to the metabolism of compounds, and the herbal or patients’ factors affecting the in vivo concentration of demethylzeylasteral.

Abstract: Instability of the continuous-wave states in a dual-core optical fiber system is investigated based on the complex Ginzburg-Landau equation. The dual-core optical fiber system consists of an active nonlinear dispersive core and a linear passive core. The modulation instability (MI) conditions are found from linearized equations for small perturbations. Simulations of the full system demonstrate that the development of the MI in the former regime leads to the establishment of a regular or chaotic array of pulses if the MI saturates, or a chain of well-separated peaks with continuously growing amplitudes if the instability does not saturate. It indicates that the peak value of multiple return-to-zero (RZ) pulses or a single RZ pulse will be amplified and the RZ pulse sources emerge in the optical fiber in the anomalous group velocity dispersion regime. This research can be used as the resource of the optical fiber telecommunications and will be useful for the study of the fibre optics and physics and also in some other fields.
Immunomodulatory Effect of Stichopus japonicus Acid Mucopolysaccharide on Experimental Hepatocellular Carcinoma in Rats

Abstract: Stichopus japonicus acid mucopolysaccharide (SJAMP) is an important biologically active compound that can be extracted from the body wall of the sea cucumber. The present study investigated the anti-tumor and immunomodulatory effects of SJAMP in an experimental hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) model in rats. Three doses of SJAMP (17.5 mg/kg, 35 mg/kg, and 70 mg/kg administered 5 days/week via oral gavage) were given to rats with diethylnitrosamine (DEN)-induced HCC. SJAMP treatment significantly inhibited DEN-induced HCC by reducing both the number and mean volume of nodules, decreasing serum a-fetoprotein (AFP) levels and proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) expression in liver, and increasing p21 expression. Furthermore, SJAMP decreased the serum levels of ALT, AST, GGT and TNF-α and increased serum IL-2. SJAMP administration also improved indices of spleen and thymus function and improved both macrophage phagocytosis and NK cell-mediated tumoricidal activity. Moreover, CD3 + and CD4 + T lymphocyte levels recovered significantly and the CD4 +/CD8 + T cell ratio normalized in a dose-dependent manner. In conclusion, SJAMP effectively inhibited the growth of HCC through the stimulation of immune organs and tissue proliferation, leading to the enhancement of cellular immunity pathways in rats.
