Abstract: A study on micromorphological features of soil in the middle reaches of the Jinghe River was carried out in this paper by means of field investigation,chemical analysis and polarizing microscope.The results are as follows: the texture of the palaeocultivated soil is medium-loam;the skeleton in the palaeocultivated soil have good smooth surface and mostly consist of quartzes,feldspars etc.,and also have some compounded quartz grains and platy single crystal of quartz or feldspar;there are residues of plants and directional distributed excrements in the organic constituents.The shapes of the voids chiefly are cylinder,arch or equidimension.The basic microstructure of the palaeocultivated soil is spongy microstructure.Hollow butt and wormholes are very developed with few crannies.The palaeocultivated soil accumulates an abundance of clays.It contains some pedogenic calcite pedofeatures and quantity of clay nodules impregnated by iron.The optical directional clay only exists a little.

Abstract: 【目的】通过比较cry1A、cry3A、cry4A和cry8E四个基因的启动子转录活性, 筛选出一个强启动子, 利用强启动子构建一个苏云金芽胞杆菌(Bacillus thuringiensis, 简称Bt)高效表达载体。【方法】利用启动子融合lacZ技术检测了4种启动子的转录活性。通过扫描电子显微镜观察晶体、SDS-PAGE、蛋白定量和生物活性测定等方法对新建高效表达载体进行功能验证。【结果】构建了Pcry1A、Pcry3A、Pcry4A和Pcry8E 4个启动子融合报告基因lacZ的表达载体, 经β-半乳糖苷酶活性分析得知, 启动子活性从高到低依次为Pcry8E>Pcry1A>Pcry4A>Pcry3A。选取cry8E启动子, 以pHT315作为基础载体构建苏云金芽胞杆菌高效表达载体pHT315-8E21b, 将cry1Ac基因连接到pHT315-8E21b和广泛应用的cry3A启动子指导的pSXY-422b上, 分别转入无晶体突变株HD-73?, 获得菌株HD-8E1Ac和HD-422-1Ac。扫描电子显微镜观察显示, HD-8E1Ac菌株可以形成菱形晶体, 说明正确表达了cry1Ac基因。SDS-PAGE分析结合蛋白定量实验表明pHT315-8E21b表达效率高于pSXY-422b。对小菜蛾(Plutella xylostella)的生物活性测定表明HD-8E1Ac菌株对小菜蛾有生物活性, 且菌株活性高于HD-422-1Ac。【结论】利用强启动子Pcry8E构建了一个能在Bt中高效表达的穿梭载体pHT315-8E21b, 该载体可正确表达cry1Ac基因, 其表达效率高于被广泛应用的pSXY422b。
A Trust Model Based on the Multinomial Subjective Logic for P2P Network  [PDF]

Abstract: In order to deal with the problems in P2P systems such as unreliability of the Service, security risk and attacks caused by malicious peers, a novel trust model MSL-TM based on the Multinomial Subjective Logic is proposed. The model uses multinomial ratings and Dirichlet distribution to compute the expectation of the subjective opinion and accordingly draws the peer’s reputation value and risk value, and finally gets the trust value. The decay of time, rating credibility and the risk value are introduced to reflect the recent behaviors of the peers and make the system more sensitive to malicious acts. Finally, the effectiveness and feasibility of the model is illustrated by the simulation experiment designed with peersim.
Uniformity evaluation and optimization of fluid flow characteristics in a seven-strand tundish

Abstract: The effect of flow control devices (FCDs) on the uniformity of flow characteristics in a seven-strand symmetrical trapezoidal tundish was studied using both an experimental 1:2.5 hydraulic model and a numerical simulation of a 1:1 geometric model. The variation coefficient (CV) was defined to evaluate the flow uniformity of the seven-strand tundish. An optimized FCD configuration was proposed on the basis of the evaluation of experimental results. It is concluded that a turbulence inhibitor (TI) and U-type dam are essential to improve the uniformity of fluid flow in the seven-strand tundish. In addition, the configuration of inclination T-type dams with a height of 200 mm between the second and third strands and with a height of 300 mm between the third and fourth strands can minimize the proportion of dead zone. After optimizing the configuration of FCDs, the variation coefficient reduces below 20% of the mean value, and the average proportion of dead zone is just 14.6%; in addition, the temperature fluctuation between the strands could be controlled within 0.6 K. In summary, the uniformity of flow and temperature in the seven-strand tundish is greatly improved.
New Square Attack on Zodiac

Abstract: This paper re-evaluates the security of Zodiac against Square attacks. There are 8-round Square distinguishers of Zodiac. In this paper, four equivalent structures of Zodiac are given, based on which two new 9-round distinguishers are proposed. Then by using the 9-round Square distinguishers, Square attacks are applied to 12/13/14/15/16-round Zodiac with time complexities being 237.3, 262.9, 296.1, 2137.1, 2189.5, and data complexities being 210.3, 211, 211.6, 212.1, 212.6, respectively. Additionally, these attacks show that full 16-round Zodiac-192 is not immune to Square attack.

Abstract: The Locomotive Remote Monitoring system is a type of information system suitable for monitoring the remote equipments in running trains, which is used to raise the fault alarm, provide reference to maintenance and enhance the repair for the trains. A very important part of the LRM system is to draw a dynamic picture for the data collected from the train, transmitted through the wireless and internet, parsed into the database, which is used to analyze the equipment status in the train by the engineer. In the three-leveled B/S architecture of J2EE environment, designing your own java painting classes for the picture is not strong enough, so we introduced the JFreeChart Open Resources, which is the best solution for Java Painting Report. The implementation of JFreeChart in the LRM system is illustrated, which can be referred by the applications in similar area.
Salvianolic Acid A Inhibits PDGF-BB Induced Vascular Smooth Muscle Cell Migration and Proliferation While Does Not Constrain Endothelial Cell Proliferation and Nitric Oxide Biosynthesis

Abstract: Proliferation and migration of vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) are critical events in the initiation and development of restenosis upon percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA). Polyphenols have been suggested to ameliorate post-angioplasty restenosis. Salvianolic A (SalA) is one of the most abundant polyphenols extracted from salvia. In this study, we investigated the effect of salvianolic A (SalA) on the migration and proliferation of VSMCs. We found a preferential interaction of SalA with cellular systems that rely on the PDGF signal, but not on the EGF and bFGF signal. SalA inhibits PDGF-BB induced VSMC proliferation and migration in the concentration range from 0.01 to 0.1 μM. The inhibition of SalA on VSMC proliferation is associated with cell cycle arrest. We also found that SalA inhibits the PDGFRβ-ERK1/2 signaling cascade activated by PDGF-BB in VSMCs. In addition, SalA does not influence the proliferation of endothelial cells, the synthesis of NO and eNOS protein expression. Our results suggest that SalA inhibits migration and proliferation of VSMCs induced by PDGF-BB via the inhibition of the PDGFRβ-ERK1/2 cascade, but that it does not constrain endothelial cell proliferation and nitric oxide biosynthesis. Thus, the present study suggests a novel adjunct pharmacological strategy to prevent angioplasty-related restenosis.
Apolipoprotein A1/C3/A5 haplotypes and serum lipid levels

Abstract: A total of 1030 unrelated subjects (492 males and 538 females) aged 15-89 were randomly selected from our previous stratified randomized cluster samples. Genotyping of the ApoA1 -75 bp G>A, ApoC3 3238C>G, ApoA5 -1131T>C, ApoA5 c.553G>T and ApoA5 c.457G>A was performed by polymerse chain reaction and restriction fragment length polymorphism combined with gel electrophoresis, and then confirmed by direct sequencing. Pair-wise linkage disequilibria and haplotype analysis among the five SNPs were estimated.The levels of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) and ApoA1 were lower in males than in femailes (P < 0.05 for each). The allelic and genotypic frequencies of the SNPs were no significant difference between males and females except ApoC3 3238C>G. There were 11 haplotypes with a frequency >1% identified in the cluster in our population. At the global level, the haplotypes comprised of all five SNPs were significantly associated with all seven lipid traits. In particular, haplotype G-G-C-C-A (6%; in the order of ApoA5 c.553G>T, ApoA5 c.457G>A, ApoA5 -1131T>C, ApoC3 3238C>G, and ApoA1 -75bp G>A) and G-A-T-C-G (4%) showed consistent association with total cholesterol (TC), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), ApoA1, ApoB, and the ApoA1/ApoB ratio. In addition, carriers of haplotype G-G-T-C-G (26%) had increased serum concentration of HDL-C and ApoA1, whereas carriers of G-G-C-G-G (15%) had high concentrations of TC, triglyceride (TG) and ApoB. We also found that haplotypes with five SNPs explain much more serum lipid variation than any single SNP alone, especially for TG (4.4% for haplotype vs. 2.4% for -1131T>C max based on R-square) and HDL-C (5.1% for haplotype vs. 0.9% for c.553G>T based on R-square). Serum lipid parameters were also correlated with genotypes and several environment factors.Several common SNPs and their haplotypes in the ApoA1/C3/A5 gene cluster are closely associated with modifications of serum lipid parameters in the general Chinese
Robust video fingerprinting via compressed sensing

Abstract: Video fingerprinting techniques have many applications in video retrieval, identification, and security. A robust video fingerprinting based on compressed sensing is proposed. In video fingerprinting, video key clips extracted are sampled by using the sparse and safety of compressed sensing. Each matrix sample is made into blocks, from which several big energy blocks are made into a new feature matrix. The singular value is used as code for the fingerprinting by SVD from this new feature matrix. Furthermore, an efficient two step match algorithm is proposed to using a search and match approximation, which improves video searching speed. The experimental results show that the proposed video fingerprinting is accurate in identifying different video clips, robust against common video processing, and can retrieve videos in real-time.
Some Developments of the Casimir Effect in $p$-Cavity of $(D+1)$-Dimensional Spacetime

Abstract: The Casimir effect for rectangular boxes has been studied for several decades. But there are still some points unclear. Recently, there are new developments related to this topic, including the demonstration of the equivalence of the regularization methods and the clarification of the ambiguity in the regularization of the temperature-dependent free energy. Also, the interesting quantum spring was raised stemming from the topological Casimir effect of the helix boundary conditions. We review these developments together with the general derivation of the Casimir energy of the $p$-dimensional cavity in ($D+1$)-dimensional spacetime, paying special attention to the sign of the Casimir force in a cavity with unequal edges. In addition, we also review the Casimir piston, which is a configuration related to rectangular cavity.
