Una nuova piattaforma per i Dati Aperti
Ernesto Lastres,Alessandro Greco
GEOmedia , 2013,
In a very evolving context and in a particular moment of public interest in theme of open data, many public organizations and government institutions are carrying out specific actions for the realization of initiatives in order to promote the open government ideas. However, very few private organizations have launched initiatives in this direction. In this paper we present an independent initiative for a new software platform for opendata on the internet that aims to be a starting point at the national level for the access to these kind of data.
Vaquero Lastres, Jacobo Leopoldo
Cuadernos de Estudios Gallegos , 1994,
Abstract: Not available.
Cassiolato, José Eduardo;Lastres, Helena Maria Martins;
S?o Paulo em Perspectiva , 2005, DOI: 10.1590/S0102-88392005000100003
Abstract: starting with a discussion about a co-evolution of conceptual and analytical ideas about the innovation process and the design of industrial and technological policies in developed countries, the paper argues that the misunderstanding of the specificities of the innovation process has led to the design and implementation of adequate policies to deal with the threats and opportunities faced by the brazilian economy and society.

RECIIS : Electronic Journal of Communication, Information & Innovation in Health , 2007,
Abstract: In the final decades of the 20th century, renewed attention began to be paid to processes of generating, diffusing and using knowledge. Various analytical and normative approaches have been developed to try and understand and guide these processes. The aim of this article is to present and discuss the concept of innovation systems, and its advantages and challenges, and to examine the Brazilian experience with the usage and development of this concept. At the end, the article returns to its main analytical conclusions, stressing: (i) the priority of stimulating and developing production and innovation systems which can galvanize social development – such as those in the area of health; (ii) the urgent need to move forwards in the understanding of the possibilities for developing these areas, as well as in the formulation of policies which can guide and encourage this development in a systematic and sustainable way.
Gas Chromatography as an Analytical Monitoring Technique for Hydrogen Production from Spirulina maxima 2342  [PDF]

Green and Sustainable Chemistry (GSC) , 2016, DOI: 10.4236/gsc.2016.62007
Abstract: Hydrogen (H2) production from experiments with Spirulina maxima 2342 is reported in this work. The performance of this photosynthetic microorganism for producing H2 was evaluated for the first time under specific experimental conditions (e.g., a biomass concentration of 0.34 ± 0.02 g, a light intensity of 150 μE.s-1.m-2 and reaction times of 19.3 ± 1.2 h). The performance of this photosynthetic microorganism for producing hydrogen was successfully improved by the addition of sodium dithionite (a reducing agent) as an innovative method for increasing the gas production, and as a main contribution of this work. Quantitative gas chromatography (GC) analyses of H2 to verify the production performance were successfully carried out at low concentration levels. GC analyses were performed by means of a conventional thermal conductivity detector coupled to a separation system of a Molecular Sieve column 500 mm × 3175 mm (L × ID). Low detection limits were consistently obtained with the GC system used. The separation of H2 in culture samples was
Infante Roura, Faustino,Vaquero Lastres, Jacobo,Criado Boado, Felipe
Cuadernos de Estudios Gallegos , 1992,
Abstract: Not available.
Thermal Stability of Cpl-7 Endolysin from the Streptococcus pneumoniae Bacteriophage Cp-7; Cell Wall-Targeting of Its CW_7 Motifs
Noemí Bustamante, Palma Rico-Lastres, Ernesto García, Pedro García, Margarita Menéndez
PLOS ONE , 2012, DOI: 10.1371/journal.pone.0046654
Abstract: Endolysins comprise a novel class of selective antibacterials refractory to develop resistances. The Cpl-7 endolysin, encoded by the Streptococcus pneumoniae bacteriophage Cp-7, consists of a catalytic module (CM) with muramidase activity and a cell wall-binding module (CWBM) made of three fully conserved CW_7 repeats essential for activity. Firstly identified in the Cpl-7 endolysin, CW_7 motifs are also present in a great variety of cell wall hydrolases encoded, among others, by human and live-stock pathogens. However, the nature of CW_7 receptors on the bacterial envelope remains unknown. In the present study, the structural stability of Cpl-7 and the target recognized by CW_7 repeats, relevant for exploitation of Cpl-7 as antimicrobial, have been analyzed, and transitions from the CM and the CWBM assigned, using circular dichroism and differential scanning calorimetry. Cpl-7 stability is maximum around 6.0–6.5, near the optimal pH for activity. Above pH 8.0 the CM becomes extremely unstable, probably due to deprotonation of the N-terminal amino-group, whereas the CWBM is rather insensitive to pH variation and its structural stabilization by GlcNAc-MurNAc-l-Ala-d-isoGln points to the cell wall muropeptide as the cell wall target recognized by the CW_7 repeats. Denaturation data also revealed that Cpl-7 is organized into two essentially independent folding units, which will facilitate the recombination of the CM and the CWBM with other catalytic domains and/or cell wall-binding motifs to yield new tailored chimeric lysins with higher bactericidal activities or new pathogen specificities.
Lastres - Aleaga,A.M.; Arzola - Ruiz,J.; Cordovés - García,A.;
Ingenier?-a Mec??nica , 2010,
Abstract: in this article, we study various solution schemes reported in the literature, which deal with the problem of irregular parts distribution on flat surfaces with two-dimensional nesting. different solution schemes were analyzed, which they consider to be the real geometry of the part, during the evaluation and positioning them on the surface to be cut, ensuring the best use of the material. the proposed scheme is characterized by a graphic treatment of the pieces that can accelerate the process of recognition and evaluation of options coupling between them, as well as the creation of cluster populations growing to its final location on the surface to be cut. in the generation of populations of possible solutions, using an algorithm based on the method of integration variables, in addition is made comparing the results obtained by the proposed method with other results generated by procedures developed by different authors, achieving improved use of material values and reducing the generation time for solutions.
