Sex characteristics of the microcirculation in healthy subjects and in patients with the first degree arterial hypertension.

Abstract: Aim. To study the sex characteristics of microcirculation in healthy volunteers and in patients with degree 1 arterial hypertension (HT).Material and methods. Patients (n=71; 34 men and 37 women) with degree 1 HT participated in the study. Besides 28 normotensive men and 41 women were included. The microcirculation study was performed with LAKK-02 analyzer on the palmar surface of the third finger of the right hand. The average values of the microcirculation index, the standard deviation of perfusion fluctuations (σ), the variation coefficient of tissue blood flow (Kv) were evaluated.Results. The microcirculation index in HT men 26.64 (21.00–32.45) perfusion units (p.u.) was significantly higher than this in HT women 20.91 (16.98–24.30) p.u., p=0.031. The variability of microcirculation index was significantly higher in HT patients than this in healthy subjects. Capillary blood flow reserve in healthy women was higher than this in healthy men. Amplitude, reflexing myogenic factor of blood flow regulation was significantly lower in HT men than this in HT women: 13.37 (10.51–16.43) vs 14.69 (11.35–19.13), respectively, p=0.023. Amplitudes, reflecting respiration effects on peripheral blood flow in HT men were significantly higher than these in HT women. Amplitudes, reflecting pulse effect on the tissue perfusion in HT women were significantly higher than these in HT men. Influence of sympathetic adrenergic innervation on the blood flow was higher in healthy men than this in healthy women.Conclusion. Received data suggests the intensification of microcirculation regulation mechanisms in men with HT degree 1. It was found that sympathetic adrenergic effect on the microcirculation regulation was significantly less in healthy women than this in healthy men.
Importance of hemodynamic factors in vascular remodeling of muscular elastic type in arterial hypertension

Abstract: The research goal is to investigate the relationship between hemodynamic factors and parameters of remodeling of common carotid arteries. 102 patients with essential hypertension of l-ll stage (49 men, 53 women, average age 47,5±11,2 years, duration of hypertension 7,8±1,5 years) have been examined. The study has revealed the relation between blood flow velocity in the common carotid artery (CCA) and the parameters of vascular remodeling, depending on the degree of hypertension. With the increase in systolic blood pressure dilation of common carotid arteries has been observed, reducing the rate of blood flow and wall thickness of the intima-media complex, accompanied by increased stiffness of the vascular wall. The increase in systolic blood pressure is accompanied by decrease in the rate of blood flow and wall tension on the endothelium, which contributes to thickness of the intima-media complex and increases the rigidity of the vascular wall

The Study of Complementarity of Iron Preparations with Antioxidants in an Experiment

Abstract: The aim of the investigation is to study the effect of combined administration of iron preparations on lipid peroxidation indexes in tissues of various organs of experimental animals. Materials and Methods. The experiment has been carried out on 130 non-pedigree male rats. As a part of the study there have been determined the indexes of induced biochemiluminescence and the content of malonic dialdehyde in tissues of intestine, liver, spleen and brain of experimental animals against the background of combined administration of iron preparations: ferric sulfate+serine (Aktiferrin) or ferric (III) hydroxide polymaltosate (Maltofer) — with antioxidants — ethylmethylhydroxypyridine succinate (Mexidol) or vitamin Е (Tocoppherol acetate). Results. In combined administration of preparations of Aktiferrin+Mexidol, as well as Maltofer+Tocopherol acetate in tissues of all the organs studied, the balance between pro- and antioxidant systems is not upset and the mechanisms of antioxidant protection develop rather effectively. When preparations of Aktiferrin+Tocopherol acetate are administered in combination in such organs as intestine, liver and spleen, the balance between pro- and antioxidant systems is kept. In brain, within the period of investigation there is observed an intensifying effect on lipid peroxidation process only, with antioxidant system activity being weakened. In combined administration of preparations of Maltofer+Mexidol, the balance between pro- and antioxidant systems in liver tissues is not disordered. In the tissues of spleen and brain the balance between the systems mentioned is unstable. In the intestine in 5 days the preparations of Maltofer+Mexidol show pro-oxidant activity while the compensatory mechanisms of antioxidant activity within the studied period do not develop. Conclusion. The most effective among the combinations of iron preparations with antioxidants analyzed are the following: Aktiferrin+Mexidol, as well as Maltofer+Tocopherol acetate. In combined administration of iron preparations with antioxidants, their highest complementarity should be taken into consideration.
Application of the film-forming material for increasing concrete articles firmness in cold continental climate (rus)

Abstract: According to the practice of making concrete products, which steaming was realized in thermoshaping machines, concretes of such products are notable for their defective structure. An unevenness of the thermal field in the concrete when warming-up it by contact method causes migration of free moisture, as a result, there is a process of hydraulic and thermal conductivity on which the moisture transfer under the influence of the pressure gradient in hardening concrete superimposes. Recently study on the removal of this defect by covering with film-forming materials the products’ surfaces free at worming from the formwork. In this paper specimen K-9 of a water-soluble polymer representing waste products of nitrogen is considered. Results of natural experiments devoted to exploring the influence of film-forming agent on durability of cement concrete products with their subsequent operation under the impact of rigorous climate are shown. In the manufacturing of production in thermoshaping machines the most positive effect is in sharing of plasticizer and film-forming mechanism with the subsequent protection of concrete. Such concrete’s properties like hardness, crack resistance are improved by using this technology as well as the resistance to the impact of climate.

Continuous-discrete model of population dynamics with time lag in a reaction of intra-population self-regulative mechanisms

Abstract: Continuous-discrete model of population dynamics is considered in current publication. It is assumed that death process of individuals has a continuous nature, and appearences of individuals of new generations are observed at fixed time moments. It is also assumed that population has non-overlapping generations, and for every generation self-regulative mechanisms have distributed time lag in reaction on population size changing. For particular case when death rate of individuals between fixed time moments corresponds to Verhulsts law, it was obtained that various cyclic regimes can be observed in phase space. For various values of model parameters the structure of domain in space of parameters, where chaotic dynamic regimes can be realized, is described.
