Bile duct stones obstructing the papilla are a quite common finding. On the other hand a pancreatic stone obstructing the papilla is quite rare. There are few reports of this complication of chronic pancreatitis in the literature. Here we inform of another unique case.

A patient with polyarteritis nodosa whose diagnosis was based on clinical, histological and arteriographic aspects was presented. It was observed, evolutively, an unusual and repeated complication: spontaneous renal rupture with retroperitoneal hematoma, at first in the right kidney and 8 days later, in the left. He lost his kidneys and he was under hemodialytic treatment during 3 months until he died. It was really rare within the complications of polyarteritis nodosa and the bilateral presentation was an exceptional event. Just a few reports were found in world medical literature.

Sensors , 2012, DOI: 10.3390/s120810707
Abstract: The definition of “Intelligent Space” (IS) was formerly proposed for an environmental system capable of offering humans informative and physical support. Currently an IS denotes a space containing human and artificial systems, the space itself being considered an intelligent system. Human and artificial systems become clients of the IS and simultaneously the artificial systems become agents of the IS. Since the whole space is an intelligent system, it is able to monitor and provide services to many different clients with ease. For example, an IS uses electronic displays to provide information to humans, then robots are used to offer physical services to them as physical agents. [...]

Innovar , 2010,
Abstract: this article shows the evolution of investment funds from the perspective of portfolio composition. during the period from 1999-2006 there was a significant increase in international diversification, both at the level of participants due to the growth of the international funds as well as at the level of managers, in so far as they increasingly incorporate larger percentages of international assets into their portfolios. the dynamism of the investment fund industry induces frequent changes of categories. theoretically, these changes arise from modification of the investment policy. however, it is empirically shown that investment funds can abandon a category for reasons more related to marketing.
