Abstract: The coupling reaction of aryl bromide and aryl boronic acid in water/DMF as solvent was studied using a palladium-complex as a catalyst in the presence of ultrasound at room temperature. The effect on the reaction of a base and a solvent was also studied with and without ultrasound and was found to increase the speed of the reaction. In this regard, we propose reaction mechanisms that could explain the results obtained.

Abstract: The first classroom experiences are essential to learn how to teach. Anxiety and doubts related to their abilities to teach are the main characteristics that define the novice teachers (Scott, 1995). The aim of the research is to study the educational intervention of the physical education student teachers (PEST) and their evolution in the period of the preparation training for the professional life from the perspective of teaching styles that they used. Participants who had accepted to participate in this study were physical education students registered at high institute of sports and physical education in Tunisia (ISSEP). All were young males (21 ± 1 years old) enrolled in an introductory course to professional life, what we call in Tunisia introductory course to practice pedagogy (introductory practicum applied to pedagogy), where share of the curriculum was of the last year of the fundamental of physical education license. This professional learning activity was held in three high schools with mixed age classes (12 - 14 years old pupils) of a rural area in Tunis. The activity lasted two semesters, four hours per week on Tuesday or Thursday for a cumulative total time of 116 hours of teaching. A macro analysis of the results showed that the preferred styles by PEST were command style, practical style and reciprocal style (Table 1). The micro analysis of each of these styles indicated that ten sessions (62.5%) had been conducted with the command style of teaching, four (25%) with the practical teaching style, and only two (12.5%) with the reciprocal teaching style. Finally, this study shows that the plurality teachers prefer teaching with the style of command that represents the lower limit of individualization; autonomy and creativity as the teacher centers his intervention on its own activities and not on the activity of the student.

Abstract: this article aims to propose the introduction of the literary text to the programs of spanish as a foreign language (s/fl). the literary text in this frame is meant to be a communication act and a means for teaching / learning spanish as a foreign language within an institutionalized and artificial context made suitable for an intermediate / advanced student profile. the research gives considerable importance to the literary text as an input that catalyzes a variety of both oral and written activities and as a didactical means integrating communication skills. moreover, it establishes some selection criteria in order to target the characteristics of the texts to be used, in accordance with linguistic goals, contents and students' needs and interests, suggesting some useful didactical and methodological parameters for enhancing suitable activities for all text types. finally, two practical proposals for transforming a literary text into a communication activity are presented.

Abstract: Resumen: En este trabajo, se analizan algunos de los aspectos narrativos de Balada del Manzanares: temas, personajes, elementos discursivos, espacio y tiempo. Este análisis permite ver que la obra de Sueiro cumple varias de las normas de la llamada novela histórica que floreció en el panorama narrativo espa ol a partir de 1975. La novela es una de las pocas obras dedicadas al análisis riguroso del franquismo. Así, en cuanto a temática y técnicas narrativas, la novela viene a ser como un paradigma de lo que se venía publicando en Espa a a finales de los a os 80.Abstract: In this paper, we analyze some of the narrative aspects of Balada del Manzanares: themes, characters, elements of discourse, space and time. This analysis of Sueiros’ work fulfills several of the rules of the so-called historical novel that flourished in the Spanish narrative scene since 1975. The novel is one of the few works devoted to the rigorous analysis of Franco. Thus, in terms of themes and narrative techniques, the novel is like a paradigm of what was being published in Spain in the late 80s.

Abstract: Weil's representation is a basic object in representation theory which plays a crucial role in many places: construction of unitary irreducible representations in the frame of the orbit method, Howe correspondence, Theta series,... The decomposition in irreducible of the restriction of Weil's representation to maximal compact subgroups or anisotropic tori of the metaplectic group is thus an important information in representation theory. Except for SL(2), this was not known in the p-adic case. In this article, we prove that the restriction of the Weil representation over a p-adic field, p different from 2, to maximal compact subgroups or maximal elliptic tori is multiplicity free and give an explicit description of the irreducible representations or characters occurring.

Abstract:

Personality traits and adaptive behavior are central issues in research on call center performance. However, the current literature offers little guidance on the relationship between personality traits and adaptive behavior and how they work together to enhance employee performance. This study investigates the mediating role of adaptive behavior between Five-Factor traits and employee performance with customers. Empirical evidence from a Canadian call center supports this proposition for three Five-Factor traits. Managerial implications are discussed.

Abstract:

A major challenge for analysis of data from observational and survey studies is dealing with model mis-specification. A common reason for model mis-specification is the violation of the independence assumption. Model mis-specification is frequently due to the inclusion of variables that are correlated with the error terms (serial correlation) or due to variables omitted from the study. The application of standard regression models to such data could lead to over inflated results, i.e. erroneous results, and misleading conclusions. Longitudinally designed studies make substantial improvements and provide an additional handle to control omitted variables. However, even with longitudinal data, model mis-specification could occur because of the nature of observations, i.e. surveys often include objectively as well as subjectively measured variables. Abstract: 基于广义连续介质力学提出了一个热力学一致性的耦合微态韧性损伤的弹塑性本构模型。该模型遵循Forest的微态方法,在有限变形中提出引入额外的微态损伤因子及其一阶梯度以考虑材料的内部特征尺度。通过广义虚功原理得到了微态损伤的补充控制方程,对亥姆霍兹自由能进行扩展,得到了新的包含微态损伤变量的损伤能量释放率,在微态损伤的正则化作用下,采用隐式迭代更新局部损伤和应力等状态变量。基于Galerkin加权余量法,推导了以传统位移和微态损伤为基本未知量的有限元列式。利用该数值模型,对DP1000材料的单向拉伸实验和十字形零件的冲压实验进行了应变局部化与材料断裂的有限元分析。结果表明,该微态弹塑性损伤模型可以得到一致的有限元模拟响应曲线并收敛到实验曲线,从而避免发生网格依赖性问题。
A thermodynamically-consistent micromorphic constitutive model fully coupled with ductile damage is formulated based on the generalized continuum mechanics.This model following the micromorphic approach proposed by Forest,introduces the new micromorphic damage and its first gradient to extend the local continuum damage model incorporating with the material characteristic length scale.Using the generalized principle of virtual work leads to the additional balance equations associated with micromorphic damage.The new damage energy release rate is derived from the extended Helmholtz free energy and regularized by the micromorphic damage.The micromorphic damage model as well as the classical displacements are implemented in finite element method.The numerical study of strain-softening and cracking in uniaxial tensile test and the cross-section drawing process of the DP1000 is performed.It is pointed out that the problem of mesh-dependency is avoided and the converged system responses are obtained and found to be consistent with experimental curves.
