Karla GARDUO-PALOMINO,Sara OJEDA-BENíTEZ,Carolina ARMIJO DE VEGA

Garduo Vera, Roberto;
Investigación bibliotecológica , 2007,
Abstract: evidently, teaching in this century has been affected by the progress achieved in scientific and technological research. educational innovation, privatization and commercialization of knowledge and a growing social demand for educational proposals have meant that institutions dedicated to education, have promoted programs which facilitate the sustainable development of educational services. virtual education, as an alternative for this proposal, propitiates academic dialog among subjects involved in distant education. characterization and guidance of teachers and tutors for virtual education in library science, as well as author-tutors of learning objects, are analysed together with educational standards for the development of learning objects.
Garduo Vera, Roberto;
Investigación bibliotecológica , 2006,
Abstract: in these opening years of the new century, teaching in practically all disciplines, at every level and modality has been affected by progress made in scientific and technological research. however, technological innovation, privatization and commercialization of knowledge plus a growing social demand for educational proposals, have led universities to include curricula related with the sustainable development of educational services. since virtual education uses information, knowledge and media to propitiate didactic dialog by mediating the communication process between the actors involved in virtual education, today the learning object is an emergent research phenomenon in all teaching, and awaits further development. therefore, this research-in-process-paper deals with learning objects and their perspective for the teaching of library science, and reflects upon the notion of "the virtual" in information, as well as on the generation of content for virtual education, the emergence of learning objects for on-line education, learning objects themselves, psycho-pedagogy and educational standards.
Contenido educativo en el aprendizaje virtual
Garduo Vera, Roberto;
Investigación bibliotecológica , 2009,
Abstract: the development of educational content oriented towards virtual learning has generated an important movement that has brought about some proposals and initiatives which seek to influence those contents. this paper deals with themes related with open digital educational resources; some modalities of such educational contents, and with organization and the use of this kind of contents in virtual education. these educational and research matters are of great interest to institutions like unesco, oecd, and other higher education organizations which consider these as priority areas for attaining more equalitarian societies about education.
Garduo, Everardo;
Estudios fronterizos , 2010,
Abstract: for the prestigious mexican historian, miguel león-portilla, the yumans of baja california were not indians of warfare, but rather indians of peace. in the opinion of this researcher, it was because lived in the fossilized-paleolithic stage that these indigenous groups did not present any kind of resistance against the european colonization, making possible their easy domination and posterior diminishment or assimilation. this paper questions these advancements not only because of their lack of technical precision, but also because they obscure the role of agency that these indians played during the missionary period. on the contrary, this paper endorses edward spicer (1962) assertion that resistance was present even among those groups that were not seriously engaged in significant fights against the spanish conquerors. in the particular case of the yuman people, this is a resistance challenging the pueblo indio project and its related implications in terms of sedentary lifestyle, agricultural economy and the adoption of a scheme of central authority. as we know, these patterns were opposed to those observed among the yumans as nomads, hunters and gatherers, organized into a segmentary lineage system. moreover, the kind of resistance described in this paper constitute what james c. scott (1990) refers as the hidden and daily life transcripts, such as ingenuity, intelligence simulating ignorance, and irony, as well as, those economic and social practices studied by jan rus (1995), which include mobility and appropriation of the missionary site, all with the intention of perpetuating the presence of these indigenous people and make possible their social reproduction.
ANTROPOLOGíA DE LA FRONTERA, LA MIGRACIóN Y LOS PROCESOS TRANSNACIONALES
Everardo Garduo
Frontera norte , 2003,
GLORIA PRADO GARDUO
Agathos : an International Review of the Humanities and Social Sciences , 2012,
Abstract: From the Middle Ages until today, it is possible to appreciate that the so called “Humanities” are focused on different perspectives and considerations. As of 1900, under the Positivism egis, Humanities were considered sciences, but in order to distinguish them from the natural and exact sciences, they were called “Sciences of the Spirit” or Human Sciences. Gradually, along the 20th century, a fusion among them took place, together with many other different sciences like medicine, in an interdisciplinary combination. Nowadays, the rampant technology, the mass media and the social networks have contributed to change their appreciation, however, these facts will not succeed in making Humanities disappear.
Abstract: alks between Great Powers and Iran in the so-called “nuclear issue” have turned an impasse. The failure of this process is attributed to a crisis of confidence between involved parties which has caused low expectations in each meeting since 2005 up to now. But we think that this failure responds more to the breaking balance of power in Middle East and Persian Gulf regions than a simple lack of trust in each other. This imbalance can come with a nuclear Iran which would affect the interest of extraterritorial states in those zones. So, the purpose of this paper will be clarifying these issues.
