Abstract: The barriers to development of non-wood forest products and services identified in many countries' reports from the COST Action E30 were grouped and classified into main categories, as follows: political (timber-dominated education, free access to resources), connected with attitudes and behaviour of forest owners/entrepreneurs (mental barriers of forest owners to new forest uses, farmers' focus on agricultural production, disinterest of ‘new’ or urban owners in this income, limited entrepreneurial orientation of forest owners), technical (low and irregular concentration of resources, high variability of yield in time and space), economical (squeezing forest products and services out of the market by non-forest alternatives, under-developed domestic markets, creation of added value is limited, problems with quality control and creating of integrated products) and social (lack of seasonal workers and low population density in rural areas).

Abstract: Une comparaison franco-allemande fait ressortir la suspicion spécifique de la philosophie fran aise institutionnelle de la première moitié du siècle à l’égard de la littérature, dont témoigne notamment la composition des revues philosophiques. Plus conflictuel que ceux de Bachelard ou de Sartre, le cas de Jean Wahl illustre la difficulté de concilier une position universitaire et des intérêts poétiques–avant que la réception de Heidegger ne vienne résoudre cette contradiction. A French/German comparison underlines the specific suspicion of the French institutional philosophy of the first half of the century towards literature, which is revealed by the composition of philosophical reviews. More conflictual than Bachelard’s or Sartre’s, Jean Wahl’s case illustrates the difficulty to conciliate a universitary position and poetical interests before the reception of Heidegger solved the contradiction.
R-Parity Violating Signals at Existing Colliders

Abstract: Formation of the $s$-channel slepton resonances at LEP2 or Tevatron at current energies is an exciting possibility in R-parity violating SUSY models. Existing LEP2 and Tevatron data can be exploited to look for sleptons, or to derive bounds on the Yukawa couplings of sleptons to quark and lepton pairs.
Supersymmetry Searches at e^+e^- Linear Colliders

Abstract: The physics potential of discovering and exploring supersymmetry at future e^+e^- linear colliders is reviewed. Such colliders are planned to start to operate at a center-of-mass energy of 500 GeV to 800 GeV, with a final energy of about 2 TeV expected. They are ideal facilities for the discovery of supersymmetric particles. High precision measurements of their properties and interactions will help to uncover the mechanism of supersymmetry breaking and will allow for tests of grand unification scenarios.

Abstract: The production of single photons plus missing energy at future $e^{+}e^{-}$ colliders can provide a testing ground for non-standard $WW\gamma$ couplings. We show that even with conservative estimates of systematic errors there is still considerable sensitivity to anomalous couplings.
Higgs search in e+e- and gamma-gamma colliders

Abstract: The prospects for discovering Higgs particles and studying their fundamental properties at future high--energy electron--positron and photon-photon colliders are reviewed. Both the Standard Model Higgs boson and the Higgs particles of its minimal supersymmetric extension are discussed. We also comment on a two Higgs doublet model searches at LEP 1. We update various results by taking into account the value of the top quark mass obtained by the CDF Collaboration and by including radiative corrections.
Three-Body Decays of the Susy Higgs Bosons

Abstract: In this talk I discuss three-body decays of the SUSY Higgs bosons which proceed via intermediate two-body states in which one of the particles is off-mass-shell. Some of these decays will be shown to have substantial branching ratios in some range of the SUSY parameter space.
Supersymmetric $W$ Boson Decays as a Means to Search for Charginos and Neutralinos

Abstract: If the sneutrino mass is below the chargino mass, the dominant decay mode of the lightest chargino is via a two-body decay channel $\chi^{\pm}_1 \ra \tilde{\nu} + l^{\pm}$. Sneutrinos are invisible in $R$-parity conserving supersymmetric models and, if the mass gap $m(\chi^{\pm}_1)-m(\tilde{\nu})$ is sufficiently small, the soft decay lepton may escape detection leading to invisible chargino decays. This ``blind spot'' of the supersymmetry parameter space would jeopardize the chargino search at LEP2. We point out that such a scenario can be tested by searching for single $W$ events in $e^+e^- \ra W^+W^-$, with one $W$ boson decaying to visible leptons or quark jets, and the second $W$ boson decaying to invisible charginos and neutralinos.
Sleptons at LEP2 and Tevatron in R-Parity Violating SUSY

Abstract: In supersymmetric theories with R-parity breaking, sleptons could be produced singly in $e^+e^-$ collisions at LEP2 and in $q\bar{q}$ annihilation at the Tevatron through interactions in which two quark or two lepton fields are coupled to a slepton field. At LEP they could manifest themselves in Bhabha scattering, and in the annihilation to $\mu^+\mu^-$, \taus, and $q\bar{q}$ pairs. The formation of sneutrinos, $e^+e^-\ra \ti{\nu}$, and their signals for a mass within the reach of this machine, is an exciting speculation which can be investigated in the coming LEP2 runs with energies close to $\sqrt{s}=200$ GeV. At the Tevatron the sleptons can be searched for as resonances in $p\bar{p}\to \tilde{\nu} \to \ell^+\ell^-$ and $\tilde{\ell}\to \ell\nu $ final states. Existing LEP2 and Tevatron data can be exploited to derive bounds on the Yukawa couplings of sleptons to quark and lepton pairs.
