Abstract: Web\|based GIS system development is a trend in both IT and GIS fields. It's predicted that GIS platform will be transformed from present local or Intranet one to Internet in the near future. In this article, WebGIS was technically analyzed on its technology characteristic and development schemes. And some key technical issues on development of an WebGIS were discussed in detail here. Then a practical development scheme was designed and a prototype system was developed basing on it, which give us some valuable experience on a practical WebGIS development.
Study on Data-based Tourism Management Decision Support System

Abstract: In this paper, a data-based intelligent decision support system is proposed to solve problems of decision-making of tourism management in complex environments. Firstly, the architecture of the decision support system integrated with several intelligence technologies is proposed, and some key technologies of implementation, such as 3S and decomposition of large decision table, are also introduced. Then, some data analysis methods used in this decision support system are presented, which include tourism information categories, space-time pattern of tourism status, tourism planning and navigation, early warning of tourism status and safety incidents. Finally, several applications of this system are also given.

Abstract: Two kinds of topological excitations, skyrmions and monopoles, are studied. It is revealed that these two types of excitations originate from different order parameter fields that reflect different spatial distributions of the Neel vector. Critical phenomena of the generation and annihilation of skyrmion-antiskyrmion pairs are also discussed.

Abstract: Clinical effect is of great importance to traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), and the rigorous and scientific methods for clinical effect assessment should be highly stressed in the clinical research of TCM. In this article, the authors analyzed the current status of the effect assessment of TCM and proposed some measures to improve the current effect assessment of TCM, in the hope of establishing an internationally accepted system of effect assessment reflecting the superiority and characteristics of TCM therapies.
Sign change of surface energy and stability of composite vortex in two-component superconductivity

Abstract: Existence of thermodynamically stable composite vortices in a two-component superconductor may form distinctive vortex patterns, and may lead to type-1.5 superconductivity. Here we study the surface energy of the two-component superconductor and show that the sign of surface energy is determined not only by the Ginzburg-Landau parameters $\kappa_i (i=1,2)$ of two superconducting components, but also by a temperature independent parameter $\kappa_\xi $, which is defined as the ratio of the coherence lengths of two components. Since the negative surface energy conduces to the invasion of thermodynamically stable composite vortices into a superconductor, the criterions for stability of composite vortex are these three independent dimensionless parameters. We find that there can exist thermodynamically stable composite vortex in a type-1+type-2 or type-2+type-2 material. We also predict that unusual vortex patterns like those observed in $MgB_2$ (V. Moshchalkov et al, Phys. Rev. Lett., 102, 117001 (2009)) can occur in some type-2+type-2 superconductors.
Stability of vortex in a two-component superconductor

Abstract: Thermodynamic stability of composite vortex in a two-component superconductor is investigated by the Ginzburg-Landau theory. The predicted nature of these vortices has recently attracted much attention. Here we consider axially symmetric quantized vortex and show that the stability of vortex depends on three independent dimensionless parameters: $\kappa _{1}$, $\kappa _{2}$, $\kappa _{\xi}$, where $\kappa _{i}(i=1,2)$ is the Ginzburg-Landau parameter of individual component, $\kappa _{\xi }=\xi _{1}/\xi _{2}$ is the ratio of two coherence lengths. We also show that there exists thermodynamic stable vortex in type-1+type-2 or type-2+type-2 materials over a range of these three parameters.
Magnetic field at the center of a vortex: a new criterion for the classification of the superconductors

Abstract: Magnetic response of a superconductor depends on the thermodynamic stability of vortex in the material. Here we show that the vortex stability has a close relation with the ratio of the magnetic field at the vortex core center to the thermodynamic critical field. This finding provides a new criterion for the classification of the superconductors according to their magnetic responses.

Abstract: As for Cartesian regulation of robot manipulators with uncertain Jacobian matrix,an anti-windup scheme of robust nonlinear PID(RN-PID)controllers is proposed to solve the practical problems arising from integral action and integrator windup in PID-like control systems.Asymptotic stability is guaranteed while position and joint velocity measurements are only required; robustness of the resulting closed-loop system is also guaranteed due to the constraints acting on integral action.Especially,compared with other anti-windup approachs,the proposed algorithm is simpler and more effective for anti-windup design.

Abstract: Molecular beam epitaxy is used to grow TiSe2 ultrathin films on graphitized SiC(0001) substrate. TiSe2films proceed via a nearly layer-by-layer growth mode and exhibit two dominant types of defects, identified as Se vacancy and interstitial, respectively. By means of scanning tunneling microscopy, we demonstrate that the well-established charge density waves can survive in single unit-cell (one triple layer) regime, and find a gradual reduction in their correlation length as the density of surface defects in TiSe2 ultrathin films increases. Our findings offer important insights into the nature of charge density wave in TiSe2, and also pave a material foundation for potential applications based on the collective electronic states.
