Abstract: Sportsmen who practise martial arts indicate, to general way, that practical this one produces effects psicosociales different (and major) to the produced ones for other physical activities. Though all the sports can promote the psychological well-being, the processes and effects are not the same in martial arts and in other types of physical activities. Nevertheless, not always the findings of the investigations have joined with the programs of intervention. The ways of life and the opportunities of health, well-being and development of the young persons have a very narrow relation with the sociocultural context, facilitating or preventing this traffic towards the adult age. The context is a factor intervener and determinant in the behavior for what it turns out suitable bear in mind the environments perceived by the subject (Figueroa et al., 2005). In this respect, and in spite of the fact that nowadays the emotional intelligence is one of the topics of major study and interest inside the Psychology, this one is an aspect to make concrete inside the methodologies of training, both formative and competitive. One presents here a descriptive and transverse study in the one that has told himself with a sample of sports young women (N=45), that they practise different modalities of combative sports (karate and judo) of the city of Murcia. The results suggest us that, so much the promotion of sports environments for the practice of martial arts as a sports activity organized, it influences positively in the perception of the psychological well-being, which benefits the development of the autoconcept and cognitive development of the same ones. Key words: psychological well-being, emotional intelligence, combative sports, indicators of performance Resumen Los deportistas que practican artes marciales indican, a modo general, que ésta práctica produce efectos psicosociales diferentes (y mayores) a las producidas por otras actividades físicas.

Abstract: egfr is a member of the tyrosine kinase family and it is represented by 4 members (erbb1 or egfr, erbb2, erbb3 and erbb4) whose ligands are a group of factors of growth especially egf and tgf alpha. egfr is activated by dimerización, which depends on the union of the ligand, although it can also happen when there are sobreexpresion and structural alterations of the receptor. besides their role during the embriogenesis, egfr plays a fundamental role in the tumoral development where they have been different mutations that are correlated with a worse prognosis. in consequence it constitutes a target in the cancer therapy, by means of monoclonales antibodies and tyrosine kinase inhibitors. this article offers a current vision of the egfr espècially in its structure, activation mechanism, role in the normal and tumoral development, as well as the therapeutic main strategies for its inhibition.

In search of resistance to Rhizoctonia solani in maize germplasms, it is necessary to make inoculation tests to determine its behavior. Inoculation techniques that provide fast, effective, and reliable responses in the manifestation of the disease and also of easy and practical application to a wide population of plants and genetic materials are required. Tests were conducted at UCLA, Posgrado de Agronomia in Tarabana, Lara state, Venezuela and in the facilities of DANAC Foundation in San Javier, Yaracuy state, utilizing 15 days old maize plants, developed under nursery conditions. Eight techniques were tested, among them s

Abstract: The geometry of nonholonomic bundle gerbes, provided with nonlinear connection structure, and nonholonomic gerbe modules is elaborated as the theory of Clifford modules on nonholonomic manifolds which positively fail to be spin. We explore an approach to such nonholonomic Dirac operators and derive the related Atiyah-Singer index formulas. There are considered certain applications in modern gravity and geometric mechanics of such Clifford-Lagrange/ Finsler gerbes and their realizations as nonholonomic Clifford and Riemann-Cartan modules.

Journal of Surface Engineered Materials and Advanced Technology (JSEMAT) , 2012, DOI: 10.4236/jsemat.2012.21008
Abstract: The aim of this work is to compare the isothermal crystallization kinetic in the films along GeTe-Sb2Te3 line with composition Ge2Sb2Te5, Ge1Sb2Te4 Ge1Sb4Te7 and Ge4Sb1Te5 using mainly Johnson–Mehl–Avrami-Kolmogorov (JMAK) model. Results obtained have shown different crystallization mechanism in the investigated films. In Ge2Sb2Te5 and Ge1Sb2Te4 films the analysis of the kinetic results (Avrani coefficient) showed that at the beginning of crystallization a metastable phase appeared with the Ge1Sb4Te7 composition, this is followed by the nucleation and growth of the stable fcc phase up to full crystallization. In contrast Ge4Sb1Te5 and Ge1Sb4Te7 films show diffusion control growing from small dimension grains with decreasing nucleation rate.

Abstract: The location of Costa Rica on the Central American Isthmus creates unique microclimate systems that receive moisture inputs directly from the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean. In Costa Rica, stable isotope monitoring was conducted by the International Atomic Energy Agency and the World Meteorological Association as part of the worldwide effort entitled Global Network of Isotopes in Precipitation. Sampling campaigns were mainly comprised of monthly-integrated samples during intermittent years from 1990 to 2005. The main goal of this study was to determine spatial and temporal isotopic variations of meteoric waters in Costa Rica using historic records. Samples were grouped in four main regions: Nicoya Peninsula (d2H = 6.65d18O0.13; r2 = 0.86); Pacific Coast (d2H = 7.60d18O + 7.95; r2 = 0.99); Caribbean Slope (d2H = 6.97d18O + 4.97; r2 = 0.97); and Central Valley (d2H = 7.94d18O + 10.38; r2 = 0.98). The water meteoric line for Costa Rica can be defined as d2H = 7.61d18O + 7.40 (r2
