Garment Counting in a Textile Warehouse by Means of a Laser Imaging System
Alejandro Santos Martínez-Sala,Juan Carlos Sánchez-Aartnoutse,Esteban Egea-López
Sensors , 2013, DOI: 10.3390/s130505630
Abstract: Textile logistic warehouses are highly automated mechanized places where control points are needed to count and validate the number of garments in each batch. This paper proposes and describes a low cost and small size automated system designed to count the number of garments by processing an image of the corresponding hanger hooks generated using an array of phototransistors sensors and a linear laser beam. The generated image is processed using computer vision techniques to infer the number of garment units. The system has been tested on two logistic warehouses with a mean error in the estimated number of hangers of 0.13%.
Formación de ayuntamientos constitucionales y un nuevo sistema de representación política en los pueblos-misión de Rioverde, San Luis Potosí, 1812-1826
Sánchez Montiel, Juan Carlos;
Estudios de historia moderna y contemporánea de México , 2009,
Abstract: in the rioverde party, belonging to the province of san luis potosí, the process of establishing town halls from the cadiz period to the establishment of the first federalism was marked by two factors. the first was the organization of towns on the basis of missions, where the parish priests had set themselves up as the central authorities of the peoples, intervening in economic activities and enjoying considerable social and political power. the second was the presence of haciendas and ranches as the party's main pattern of settlement. during this period, nearly all the towns in the party managed to set up a town hall, although this was accompanied by a process of secularization that affected the parish priests' influence over the towns.
Ciudadanía, participación política y nueva representación: San Luis Potosí 1812-1824
Sánchez Montiel, Juan Carlos;
Estudios de historia moderna y contemporánea de México , 2011,
Abstract: this article shows that citizenship instituted through the cádiz charter, despite maintaining important exclusions, permitted the political participation of social sectors that had hitherto not enjoyed these rights. this has significant repercussions on electoral participation and the shaping of political power. however, both the recognition of citizenship and the exercise of suffrage were subject to determinants circumscribed to the local sphere (where these rights were first made effective) and to the references and practices of the traditional political culture of the ancien régime and interests that soon raised the need to take actions to manipulate the elections.

This article shows that citizenship instituted through the Cádiz charter, despite maintaining important exclusions, permitted the political participation of social sectors that had hitherto not enjoyed these rights.
Juan Carlos Rumberto, thoracic surgeon at the Hospital de Cruces, in Bilbao, and a long term participant in international cooperation projects, namely in Mozambique, speaks about the inequalities in the access to health care services in developed and Third World countries. One of the main promotors of these inequalities is the weak socio-economic and human development conditions that exist in these countries, particularly in areas devasted by calamities, reminding us of the need for fairer economic policies.

In the Rioverde party, belonging to the province of San Luis Potosí, the process of establishing town halls from the Cadiz period to the establishment of the first federalism was marked by two factors. The first was the organization of towns on the basis of missions, where the parish priests had set themselves up as the central authorities of the peoples, intervening in economic activities and enjoying considerable social and political power. Stability Conditions of Fuzzy Filter Type III  [PDF]
José de Jesús Medel Juárez, Juan Carlos García Infante, Juan Carlos Sánchez García
Journal of Signal and Information Processing (JSIP) , 2011, DOI: 10.4236/jsip.2011.23034
Abstract: A digital fuzzy logic filter of type III interacts with a real model signal reference to obtain the best answer in the sense of minimum mean square error of the output. The key part of the filter is a fuzzy mechanism that adaptively selects and emits answer according to the changes of the external reference signal. Based on input signal level, this fuzzy filter selects the best parameter values from a set of membership in the knowledge base (KB), and the filter weights are updated according to the reference signal in a natural form. With this fuzzy structure the filter reduces error. The simulation result shows the stability of the filter. The states of the filtering process require that all of its answers are bounded by the error criteria probabilistically.
Intense Visible Photoluminescence from C46H22N8O4KM (M = Co, Fe, Pb) Derivatives Thin Films  [PDF]
María Elena Sánchez, Juan Carlos Alonso, Jerry Nathan Reider
Advances in Materials Physics and Chemistry (AMPC) , 2011, DOI: 10.4236/ampc.2011.13010
Abstract: Strong visible photoluminescence (PL) at room temperature is obtained from thermal-evaporated thin solid films of Metallophthalocyanine (M = Co, Fe, Pb) and double potassium salt from 1,8 dihydroxyan-thraquinone. The PL of all the investigated samples is observed with the naked eye in a bright background. The deconvolution of the normalized PL spectra shows that each PL spectrum is composed of four emission bands which peak at approximately the same energies of 2.1, 2.2 and 2.4 eV and whose intensities and widths depend upon the structure of the complexes. FTIR and ellipsometry are employed to investigate the structural differences among the films. The optical absorption of the films is also investigated to evaluate the changes in the electronic structure of these metal organic compounds, with respect to other metalphtalocya-nines thin films. Our results suggest that the visible PL comes from radiative transitions between energy lev-els associated to the double potassium salt coordination to the metallic ion in the phthalocyanine.
Fuzzy Voice Coding with Significant Impulses Modeling and Redundant Waveform Recycling  [PDF]
Ismael Rosas Arriaga, Juan C. García Infante, J. Carlos Sánchez García
Communications and Network (CN) , 2013, DOI: 10.4236/cn.2013.51005
Abstract:

This paper proposes a voice codification based on two algorithms that make the wave form codification in time domain. The first uses the significant impulse model (SIM), which has as a goal to operate as an endpoint detector and as a dawn sampling, through the detection and selection of the significant valleys and crests; the second algorithm, is a redundant wave-form recycler (RWR) that uses an architecture based on fuzzy logic with an accumulative memory. The fuzzy algorithm obtains the similitude grade between the redundant wave forms, this with the objective of save into an knowledge base the patterns, based on the no supervised learning and when there are into memory, automatically there will be used to identified their arrive respect to the input signal, substituting the input block by the correspondent pattern into memory. This decoding process is using the SIM interpolation with a memory in accordance to the RWR.
