Abstract: With the rapid growth of the Internet, acquiring digital contents over the Internet has becomecommonplace. Most traditional items can be translated into digital form. That is to say the digitalcontents can be distributed easily and rapidly to users over the Internet. Unfortunately, situations ofpiracy are common and become more serious, since the digital contents can be copied and distributedeasily through Internet. Thus, Digital Rights Management (DRM) is a popular tool used to protect digitalcontents with cryptographic technology. But there are many different DRM encryption formats that areadopted by different content providers, causing consumers can’t play their contents on devices withdifferent DRM format even though they bought it legally. In this paper, we employ identity-basedencryption to allow a conversion between different DRM systems. Through the conversion process, thedigital content can be used at different DRM systems and hold the legitimate use of the right.

Abstract: In the title compound, [Ag3(C12H12N2O2)4](PF6)3, one AgI ion, lying on a twofold rotation axis, is coordinated by four N atoms from four 1,3-bis(4,5-dihydro-1,3-oxazol-2-yl)benzene (L) ligands in a distorted tetrahedral geometry and the other AgI ion is coordinated by two N atoms from two L ligands in a bent arrangement [N—Ag—N = 169.03 (17)°]. Two L ligands adopt a syn conformation, while the other two adopt an anti conformation. They bridge adjacent AgI ions, forming a trinuclear complex. One of the PF6 anions is half-occupied, with the P atom located on a twofold rotation axis. The PF6 anions link the complex molecules via Ag...F interactions [2.80 (2) and 2.85 (2) ] into a polymeric chain along [100].

Abstract: In the title coordination polymer, [Cu(NO3)2(C12H12N2O2)]n, the CuII ion, situated on an inversion center, is coordinated by two O atoms from two nitrate anions and two N atoms from two 1,4-bis(4,5-dihydro-1,3-oxazol-2-yl)benzene (L) ligands in a distorted square-planar geometry. Each L ligand also lies across an inversion center and bridges two CuII ions, forming a polymeric chain running along the [101] direction. The three O atoms of the nitrate group are disordered over two positions in a 3:2 ratio.

Abstract: In the title compound, [N(C4H9)4][V(C23H21NS3Si)2]·4CH3CN, the VIII atom (site symmetry overline{1}) is coordinated by two N,S,S′-tridentate 4,4′-dimethyl-2,2′-(3,7-dimethyl-1H-4,2,1-benzothiazasiline-1,1-diyl)dibenzenethiolate ligands in a distorted trans-VN2S4 octahedral geometry. The complete cation is generated by crystallographic twofold symmetry, with the V atom lying on the rotation axis. The unusual ligand arose from nucleophilic attack on the coordinated nitrile by the thiolate precursor and reduction of nitrile to the imidate.
Discovery of New Stilbene Antioxidants of the Bio-Elicited Peanut Sprout Powder (BPSP) and Longevity Extension of Mice Fed with BPSP-Supplemented Diets  [PDF]

Abstract: Biosynthesis of peanut stilbenes, including resveratrol as the secondary metabolites, could be enhanced by subjecting the kernels to germination and wound-stress. Investigations of the bio-elicited peanut sprout powder (BPSP) addressed on characterization of the comprising stilbenes and effectiveness in longevity extension deserves intensive research. In this study, peanut kernels were subjected to germination and wound-stress in preparation of BPSP. The methanol extracts of BPSP were medium pressure liquid chromatographic (MPLC) fractionated and semi-preparative HPLC recovered and followed by instrumental identification and biological activity determinations of the isolated stilbenes. In longevity experiments, 16 female 11-mon-old BALB/c mice and both genders of 12-mon-old ICR mice were daily fed with BPSP supplemented diets at doses of 0, 0.1 and 0.5 g BPSP/kg bw for 750 and 762 days, respectively. Based on chemical characterization, enriched quantity of stilbenes in the BPSP up to ca. 1% (w/w) was detected. Two new stilbene compounds, namely, 4, 5’-dihydroxy-6’’-hydroxymethyl, 6’’-methylpyrano [2’’, 3’’: 3’, 4’] stilbene and 3, 4, 5’-trihydroxy-6’’, 6’’-dimethylpyrano [2’’, 3’’: 3’, 4’]stilbene along with 5 known stilbenes were isolated. The 7 stilbenes exhibited potent antioxidative and antiglycative activities and varied with structure-activity nature. Based on the resultant survival curves and average lifespans of both mouse models, basal diets supplemented with BPSP are effective to extend mouse longevity by a dose dependent manner.
Structural diversity of broadleaved-Korean pine forest in Changbai Mountain

Abstract: 在林业可持续发展的背景下,对森林实施生态系统管理,必须保护和维持森林的生物多样性。这就要求在森林调查和经营过程中增加林分结构多样性方面的内容,因此必须充分认识森林结构包括的内容,并研究制订简便实用的结构多样性指标。本文采用目测分层盖度结合无样地点四分法取样进行林分结构因子调查,设计了一套简便的林分结构指标体系,并对长白山红松阔叶混交林及其次生林进行了林分结构多样性的测定研究。结果表明:基于分层盖度构建的林分垂直多样性指数和水平结构异质性指数,可以较好地表示林分的基本结构特征,同时借助点四分法测定的物种多样性指数和对倒木、站干、林隙等的统计,可以较全面地描述阔叶红松林的林分结构因素。应用该方法测定不同的原始林样地的林分结构,得到的林分结构指标与其他林分结构因素的描述,同常规林学调查结论一致并更全面;同时对不同采伐方式的林分结构进行了测定,结合相应的常规指标测定对比,表明该结构指数不但能较好地表示群落的空间结构特征,同时也能对比不同经营方式对林分结构造成的影响,如择伐方式比皆伐方式对林分的结构影响相对较小而且结构恢复时间较短,从而说明对阔叶红松林这种复层异龄混交林的森林类型而言,择伐是一种更适合的通过结构调控进行生态系统管理的方式。在对生态系统进行经营管理过程中,采用该方法能有效地说明林分的垂直结构复杂性和水平结构异质性及重要的林分结构因子存在状况,因而更适合当前森林生态系统管理的要求。文章进一步分析了林分结构指标待改进的部分与研究方向。
Molecular Cloning of a New Immunomodulatory Protein from Anoectochilus formosanus which Induces B Cell IgM Secretion through a T-Independent Mechanism

Abstract: An immunomodulatory protein (IPAF) was purified and cloned from Anoectochilus formosanus, an Orchidaceae herbal plant in Asia. The major targeting immune cells of IPAF and its modulating effects toward B lymphocytes were investigated. Rapid amplification of cDNA ends (RACE) was conducted to clone the IPAF gene, and the obtained sequence was BLAST compared on the NCBI database. MACS-purified mouse T and B lymphocytes were stimulated with IPAF and the cell proliferation, activation, and Igs production were examined. IPAF comprised a 25 amino acids signal peptide and a 138 amino acids protein which was homologous to the lectins from Orchidaceae plant. IPAF selectively induced the cell proliferation in mouse splenic B lymphocytes but not T lymphocytes. The IPAF-induced B cells exhibited increased CD69 and MHC class II expression, and a dose- and time-dependent enhancement in IgM production. These results suggested potential benefits of IPAF to strengthen the humoral immunity.

Abstract: 河北北部、内蒙古东部森林-草原交错带富于高的生物多样性。在森林-草原交错带森林草甸区森林斑块的数量最多,其次为森林带,再次为森林-草原交错带草甸草原区,草原带没有森林斑块。植物群落的α多样性在森林群落和草原群落表现不同,森林群落从森林带到草原带依次减低;草原群落则表现出在森林-草原交错带植物多样性高,特别是在森林草甸区最明显,在森林-草原交错带β多样性指数较高,表现在β多样性指数在森林-草原交错带
Studies on the structure and improving techniques of the masson pine community in Longdong River Valley

Abstract: The structure of the mass pine community in Longdong River Valley is studied. The results show that the structure of the mass pine community is simple, the biodiversity is low, diseases are serious, and the productivity is not high. Based on the facts, the improving principles, measures, and model of the masson pine community are put forward.
