Quick-homogeneous Corrosion of Ti-2A1-2.5Zr Alloy in High-temperature and High-pressure Water Steam

Abstract: The corrosion behavior of Ti-2A1-2.5Zr alloy with 5 alloy contents and 5 surface states were studied in water steam at 400℃, 10.3 MPa for 72 h. The weight-increments of all samples are under 4 mg/dm2, better than Zr and Zr-alloy. or-Ti is oxidized into anatase-type TiO2 preferentially. The corrosion resistance is improved by adding Al element or pre-oxidizing treatment, the latter is more effective relatively.

Abstract: The relationships among the deformation, texture and properties of TA16 alloy tube were investigated, an optimum processing parameter was obtained. High Q (the ratio of reduction of diameter to reduction of wall thickness) values increase tensile, flaring properties and reduce flattening; high Q values increase tensile strength, flattening, flaring. and decrease tensile elonga. tion. The main circular textures of rolling tubes are basal (0001) and pyramidal {1015}, {1014}, {1013} etc., and the main axial textures are prism {1010} and pyramidal {1120}, {2131}, {2021} etc. under different Q and E values. There are greater changes in the grain size under different E values, compared with that under different Q values.

Abstract: The SEM observation in situ of monotonic and cyclic deformed structure in Ti-ZA1-2.5Zr alloy was performed. The regularity of slippage, crack nucleation, propagation and the typical dislocation configuration were also investigated. The twin and twist play an important role in maintaining homogeneous deformation in the final plastic deformation stage.

Abstract: The daily 1°× 1° data of the Aviation (AVN) model, the black body temperature (TBB) data of cloud top, and cloud images by geostationary meteorological satellite (GMS) are used to identify a dew-point front near the periphery of the western Pacific subtropical high (WPSH). The results clearly demonstrate the existence of the dew-point front, and its thermodynamic and dynamic structural characteristics are analyzed in detail. The dew-point front is a transitional belt between the moist southwest monsoon flow and the dry adiabatic sinking flow near the WPSH, manifested by a large horizontal moisture gradient in the mid-lower troposphere and conjugated with the mei-yu front to form a predominant double-front structure associated with intense rainfall in the mei-yu period. The mei-yu front is located between 30°and 35°N, vertically extends from the ground level to the upper level and shifts northward. The dew-point front is to the south of the mei-yn front and lies up against the periphery of the WPSH. Generally, it is located between 850 hPa and 500 hPa. On the dew-point front side, the southwesterly prevails at the lower level and the northeasterly at the upper level; this wind distribution is different from that on the mei-yu front side. Vertical ascending motion exists between the two fronts, and there are descending motions on the north side of the mei-yu front and on the south side of the dew-point front, which form a secondary circulation. The dynamics of the double fronts also have some interesting features. At the lower level,positive vertical vorticity and obvious convergence between the two fronts are clearly identified. At the mid-lower level, negative local change of the divergence (corresponding to increasing convergence) is often embedded in the two fronts or against the mei-yu front. Most cloud clusters occur between the two fronts and propagate down stream in a wave-like manner.
Anharmonic Effect of Adiabatic Quantum Pumping

Abstract: Based on the scattering matrix approach, we systematically investigate the anharmonic effect of the pumped current in double-barrier structures with adiabatic time-modulation of two sinusoidal AC driven potential heights. The pumped current as a function of the phase difference between the two driven potentials looks like to be sinusoidal, but actually it contains sine functions of double and more phase difference. It is found that this kind of anharmonic effect of the pumped current is determined combinedly by the Be rry curvature and parameter variation loop trajectory. Therefore small ratio of the driving amplitude and the static amplitude is not necessary for harmonic pattern in the pumped current to dominate for smooth Berry curvature on the surface within the parameter variation loop.
