Ense anza de estrategias de elaboración de auto-preguntas
José María Román Sánchez,Javier Catalina Sancho
Revista de Psicología y Educación , 2005,
Abstract: The elaboration of self-questions consists of achieving before, during and after studying some very significant questions about the contents that have to be learnt. The elaboration of self-questions as a learning-strategy can be taught integrated in the curriculum of eight class-rooms or working-sessions. Thus it has been proved on a search made with 64 students from High School of three different class-rooms: experimental room, informed room (students who received information about the benefits of using the strategy), and control room (those students that have received none intervention). The experimental evidence shows significant improvement on the informed students who were in training on self-questioning respect to the other two groups (control and informed class-rooms). The main evidences are about dependent variables: Objective Efficiency, Self-question Quality, and Detected Use of learning strategies. The investigation suggests the search of modulator variables from the efficiency of the learning program.

Giménez Toledo, Elea,Román Román, Adelaida,Sánchez Nistal, José María
Revista Espa?ola de Documentación Científica , 1999,
Abstract: This paper describes a scientific journal evaluation system based on the analysis of multiple parameters: frequency of publication, historical prestige, standardisation, editorial board, papers evaluation system, origin of contributions, internacional diffusion and peers evaluation. The most prominent methodological aspects are commented, as well as the results obtained when applying this model to a broad sample of Spanish journals on Economics.
International Journal of Psychological Research , 2011,
Sánchez Román,Julio; Castillo Palma,María Jesús; García Hernández,Francisco José; González León,Rocío; Oca?a Medina,Celia;
Insuficiencia card?-aca , 2012,
Abstract: pulmonary arterial hypertension (pah) associated with systemic autoimmune diseases is the most common variant of pah, behind only the idiopathic forms. within those, which is associated with systemic sclerosis is also the most frequent (between 16 and 54% according to different series). patients with scleroderma (or systemic sclerosis) can have virtually all variants of pulmonary hypertension in support of a classification of dana point (2008), currently in effect. pah (related to alterations in the pulmonary vascular bed itself and without other apparent cause) is detected in a variable percentage ranging between 5 and 20% of patients with scleroderma. this variant is characterized by a worse prognosis than that seen in patients with idiopathic pah due of the frequent comorbidity in these patients and the impact of the autoimmune process and profibrotic on the heart and great vessels lung. however, the fact that patients with pah associated with systemic sclerosis belong to a known risk group, allows earlier detection and, therefore, the establishment of treatment at earlier stages, circumstances have greatly improved its survival and quality of life. the algorithms for diagnosis and treatment of these patients have their own variants and are similar to those used for idiopathic pulmonary hypertension. attempts to use immunosuppressive drugs have proved quite ineffective.

Abstract: objective: to assess the potential under-registration of work-related accidents in the mexican institute of social security. material and methods: a countrywide cross-sectional study was carried out with information collected from 27 district offices of the mexican institute of social security (miss), on workers seen at miss emergency rooms during november 2001 because of a probable accident at work. we compared these reports to official records of work-related accidents to estimate the proportion of incomplete reports. data analysis consisted of descriptive statistics for each variable; the annual estimation of incomplete reporting proportions was made by multiplying by twelve months; 95% confidence intervals were estimated using poisson's exact method for a proportion. results: data from 27 out of 37 miss district offices revealed that 7 211 cases were not recognized as work accidents, accounting for an underestimation of 26.3%, ranging between 0 and 68% among the different district offices. the accidents that were most frequently left unregistered were mild and blunt injuries. conclusions: under-registration can affect worker compensation plans and the financial balance of the institution's occupational risk insurance. research is needed to investigate and eliminate the causes of under-registration. employers, the industry, and health institutions should be involved in this effort

Abstract: the 'flor de mayo' bean type is highly demanded by consumers in central mexico, its production takes place at the semiarid, el bajio and the central plateau regions. the aim was to test a set of 14 bred lines plus two checks across 10 rainfed locations and four irrigated sites on the basis of seed yield, 100-seeds weight and disease reaction. trials were conducted in the spring-summer season 2008 and fall-winter season 2008-2009. data analyses were conducted including all test sites, and independently rainfed and irrigated sites. different diseases attacked the crop across test sites; those widely distributed were common bacterial blight (xanthomonas campestris pv phaseoli) and angular leaf spot (phaeoisariopsis griseola); whereas anthracnose (colletotrichum lindemuthianum) and downy mildew (phythohpthora phaseoli) show a strong attack at calera, zacatecas and celaya, guanajuato, respectively. average from the genotypes, the highest yield (4.15 t ha-1) was obtained in celaya under irrigated conditions and the lowest at texcoco under rainfed conditions (0.90 t ha-1). the overall analysis indicated highly significant effect (p<0.0001) of environment, genotype and interaction, but the largest contribution to the observed variation was due to location (91%) and the lowest to genotype (1%). the analyses on rainfed data show a lower effect of location (72%) and an increase in the effect of the interaction (25%) and in lower degree that of the genotype (3%). out of fourteen trials, in six of them there were lines significantly superior (p<0.05) to the best check, flor de mayo anita. average from all trials, line fmb 08030 displayed the largest yield (2.06 t ha-1). at all trials most of the lines displayed heavier seeds (p<0.05) that the checks. for seed yield, the effect of location was the most influential and under rainfed conditions the interaction location x genotype was important.
