PALAVRAS-CHAVE: saberes docentes – socializa o profissional – educa o física This work belongs to the scope of studies that focus on the process of building a teacher education syllabus . This study relates, in a synthetic form, a research work on teacher’s professional knowledge and skills which was undertaken with three Physical Education teachers. As such, it tries to analyze which is the existing relation between the process of construction of the professional knowledge and skills which are necessary to teaching and the syllabus component that was actually taught. In this way, the study reveals that teachers knowledge and skills express the peculiarities of the educational mission statements and work environments and it points to the existence of unique teaching cultures which are structured in a professional field which is rich in its diversity of contents. As a conclusion, it shows that content and pedagogy are parts of an indistinct body of knowledge. Abstract: having as its reference the historical teaching de-regulation in technological and vocational education, along with a restricted (rare or scarce) scientific publication on the matter, we carry out an initial discussion concerning the knowledge base mobilized by the tve teachers. we do this by means of an analysis of: 1) presentations by teachers from several tve institutions; 2) the knowledge base activated and/or called into demand by these educational activities. authors like gauthier, tardif, lessard, oliveira and peterossi, strengthen (by way of a theoretical base) our analysis, while at the same time making it clear that a debate needs to be launched, as much for the sake of defining the model, as for defining the locus (focal point) in the training that tve teachers receive. attention needs to be given to the specificities encountered in providing training for teachers training in this field. the urgent need for the state to define its policies in this area, is also pointed out. for example, there is a need for: 1) the regulation (or standardizing) of tve teaching practices; 2) strategies to make tve teaching more professional: defining careers; setting salaries; assessment procedures.
Navicordulia aemulatrix sp. nov. (Odonata, Corduliidae) from northeastern Santa Catarina State, Brazil
Pinto,ngelo Parise;Lamas, Carlos José Einicker;
Revista Brasileira de Entomologia , 2010, DOI: 10.1590/S0085-56262010000400012
Abstract: navicordulia aemulatrix sp. nov. (holotype male deposited in mzsp: brazil, santa catarina state, [s?o bento do sul municipality, 26°14'58"s, 49°22'59"w], [railroad station] rio vermelho, ii.1952) is described and illustrated based on three males. the long cercus (2.9-3.2 mm) places this species in the longistyla-group together with n. kiautai, n. longistyla and n. nitens but it differs from them mainly by the shape of cercus, with carinated part occupying 0.33 of cercus total length, and also by dorsal, ventro-medial and ventro-lateral tubercles developed. an unusual process on tergal portion of prothorax is reported for the first time in navicordulia. the rate of description of new species of south american 'corduliidae' is discussed. a map with records of atlantic forest navicordulia species and a list of brazilian corduliids by state are also presented.
Growth Stratification Applied to Prognosis of Diametric Structure in Araucaria Forest  [PDF]

Journal of Applied Mathematics and Physics (JAMP) , 2014, DOI: 10.4236/jamp.2014.28083
Abstract:

The forest management, in broad terms, covers a set of information and activities related to the growth and production of plantations or from heterogeneous forests. If on one hand forest plantation presents homogeneous dendrometric characteristics, on the other hand in heterogeneous forests such a configuration does not exist, which requires the application of essential mathematical estimates for the forest management planning, for example, the prognosis of diametric structure. In this respect, refinements can be tested in traditionally used mathematical models, aiming at more accurate results. These facts substantiate the following hypotheses: the stratification of the diameter increments can provide estimates with greater accuracy and more precise results for the prognosis. With the stratification of diameter increment made it possible to get better results for the prognosis for a 4-year period, allowing the forest manager to better work with estimators either for diameter classes as well as for the forest to be managed. Using the data structure of trees (DBH ≥ 9.5 cm) of the National Forest of Sao Francisco de Paula, RS, Brazil, the diameter increment of species was stratified into four statistically different strata. Using data sampled between the years of 2000 to 2004, it was carried out prognosis for the year 2008, using the stratified and not stratified data. The estimates were compared with the observed values by the Kolmogorov-Smirnov (K-S) test, which attested goodness of fit only for the estimates from the stratified values. The prognosis estimated by

Abstract: Continuing the study of the green areas of the Campus II of the Federal University of Goiás it was developed a research in order to check the situation of the arborization at Campus. The sites of the present study consisted of spaces among buildings, streets, places, parking places and a little wood. A scale of 1:5000 was used to localize them in an aerophotogramatic plant The plants were located and identified. The native species are remainders of the semideciduous forest occurring in the locality, e. g. Apuleia molaris Spruce (garapa), Anadenanthera peregrina L. (angico), Cedrela fissilis Vel. (cedro) and Tabebuia serratifolia (Vahl.) Nichols. (ipê amarelo) and many other species. Spathodea campanulata Beauv. (espatódea), Delonix regia Rafin (flamboyant), Pachira aquatica Aublet. (munguba), Caesalpinia echinata Lan. (pau-brasil) and Syagrus oleracea (Mat.) Becc. (guariroba) are some of the exotic species from other states and from the flora of Goiás. The totality of 1,389 individuals were distributed among 43 families and 84 genres. The study showed that some species have not been planted in adequate localities because of the high tonnage, root system and falling of the leaves. This investigation will permit an amplification, improvement of the arborization and recomposition of the green areas of Campus II. It will also contribute to future landscaping projects.
Ponte, Eduardo Vieira;Rizzo, José ?ngelo;Cruz, álvaro Augusto;
Jornal Brasileiro de Pneumologia , 2007, DOI: 10.1590/S1806-37132007000300016
Abstract: to describe the principal evidence in the literature regarding the interrelationship among helminth infections, atopy, and asthma, a nonsystematic review of the literature was conducted. among the publications on the subject, we found a number in which there was controversy regarding the capacity of geohelminth infections to inhibit responsiveness to skin allergy tests and to minimize the symptoms of allergic diseases. however, although small in number, studies of patients infected with schistosoma spp. suggest that these helminths can inhibit the responsiveness to skin allergy testing and minimize asthma symptoms. evidence provided by in vitro studies suggests that helminthiases inhibit t helper 1- and t helper 2-type immune responses. this opens new therapeutic possibilities for the treatment of immune system diseases.

Journal of the Brazilian Society of Mechanical Sciences and Engineering , 2008, DOI: 10.1590/S1678-58782008000400002
Abstract: this paper studies the linear feedback control strategies for nonlinear systems. asymptotic stability of the closed-loop nonlinear system is guaranteed by means of a lyapunov function, which can clearly be seen to be the solution of the hamilton-jacobi-bellman equation thus guaranteeing both stability and optimality. the formulated theorem expresses explicitly the form of minimized functional and gives the sufficient conditions that allow using the linear feedback control for nonlinear system. the numerical simulations the duffing oscillator and the nonlinear automotive active suspension system are provided to show the effectiveness of this method.

Abstract: the main objective of this research was to test the hypothesis of whether family agriculture, as defined herewith, would indeed be predominant in the taquara branca watershed, in the state of s?o paulo, brazil, site of a larger sustainable development assessment study. data on 33 of 106 landholdings in the watershed were obtained by directly applied cross-section questionnaires. the variables for multivariate analysis were first selected through a unidimensional analysis, when some questions were selected with basis on answer variability. multivariate statistics was used (proc cluster, sas) to define and analyze the groupings. twenty two respondents (out of the 33) were involved in agricultural activities, comprising, then, the universe of the study. cluster analysis allowed the identification of three natural groups among the 22 landholdings. it was possible to classify each group, according to their characteristics, as follows: group 1 ? twelve typical family landholdings; group 2 ? six non-family, small landholdings; and group 3 - four non-family, large landholdings. although not predominant in terms of area, typical family agriculture was found to be the more frequent (36%) in the watershed.
