Abstract: Una de les conseqüències directes del fenomen de la diversitat cultural és l’elevat nombre d’alumnat nouvingut als centres educatius. Davant d’aquest fet, les activitats físicoesportives poden esdevenir una bona estratègia per afrontar amb eficàcia el repte d’assolir una educació inclusiva i per a tothom. Aquest article presenta un estudi dut a terme als centres educatius reconeguts oficialment com a centres amb aula d’acollida. Concretament, mostra els resultats obtinguts en l’aplicació d’un qüestionari complimentat pels educadors (professorat, mestres i altres agents educatius) amb la intenció de copsar el valor inclusiu de les activitats físicoesportives dutes a terme en horari no-lectiu. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ L’une des conséquences directes du phénomène de la diversité culturelle est le grand nombre d’élèves récemment arrivés dans les centres éducatifs. Face à ce fait, les activités physico- sportives peuvent se convertir en une bonne stratégie pour relever de manière efficace le défi qui consiste à atteindre une éducation inclusive et pour tous. Cet article présente une étude réalisée dans les centres éducatifs reconnus officiellement comme des centres ayant des classes d’accueil. Concrètement, elle montre les résultats obtenus de l’application d’un questionnaire destiné aux éducateurs (instituteurs, professeurs et autres agents éducatifs) dans le but d’insister sur et de démontrer la valeur inclusive des activités physico-sportives réalisées en dehors des horaires d’enseignement. One direct consequence of the cultural diversity phenomenon is the huge influx of students to educational centres. In view of this fact, physico-sports activities can be used as a good strategy to effectively address the challenge of achieving an inclusive and all-embracing education. This article presents a study undertaken in officially recognised educational centres with integration classes. Specifically, it shows the findings obtained from the responses to a questionnaire conducted with educators (teaching staff, schoolteachers and other educational agents) with the aim of underscoring and proving the inclusive value of physic-sports activities organised outside teaching hours. Abstract: RESUMEN: En el texto se intentan aportar algunas ideas sobre la posible evolución política en Cuba, partiendo del análisis del régimen cubano de los noventa, y comparando su situación con la de otros casos similares. En este sentido, definen el actual régimen cubano como postotalitarismo-carismático e intentan analizar las condiciones internas y externas que constri en y potencian la evolución del régimen cubano. ABSTRACT: This article analyses the prospects of the Future Cuban political evolution. It does so by taking into account the characteristics of the Cuban regime during the 1990's and by comparing the Cuban situation to that of other similar cases. This article characterizes the current political regime as charismatic-post-totalitarianism. It also analyzes the internal and external factors that affect and constrain the evolution of the Cuban regime.
Evaluating Oblique Shock Waves Characteristics on a Double-Wedge Airfoil  [PDF]

Abstract: Numerical and experimental study to evaluate aerodynamic characteristics in supersonic ow over a double wedge airfoil is carried out using Fluent software and a supersonic wind tunnel, respectively. The Schlieren visualization method was also used to develop the experimental step of this study. The supersonic wind tunnel reached a proximately a Mach number of 1.8. The result got showed oblique shock waves visualization on double-wedge airfoil and the numerical simulation, the flow behavior as function of Mach number, pressure, temperature and density in the flow field on the computational model. The simulation allowed to observe the shock wave and the expansion fan in the leading and tailing edge of double-wedge airfoil. From the numerical and experimental comparison, an agreement at the shock wave angle and Mach number was observed, with a difference about 1.17% from the experimental results.
Applicability of Solid Solution Heat Treatments to Aluminum Foams

Abstract: Present research work evaluates the influence of both density and size on the treatability of Aluminum-based (6000 series) foam-parts subjected to a typical solid solution heat treatment (water quenching). The results are compared with those obtained for the bulk alloy, evaluating the fulfilment of cooling requirements. Density of the foams was modeled by tomography analysis and the thermal properties calculated, based on validated density-scaled models. With this basis, cooling velocity maps during water quenching were predicted by finite element modeling (FEM) in which boundary conditions were obtained by solving the inverse heat conduction problem. Simulations under such conditions have been validated experimentally. Obtained results address incomplete matrix hardening for foam-parts bigger than 70 mm in diameter with a density below 650 kg/m3. An excellent agreement has been found in between the predicted cooling maps and final measured microhardness profiles.

Abstract: Las primeras actividades de la Sociedad de Medicina y Ciencias Naturales de Bolívar, en 1893, coincidieron con el momento de mayor auge del pasterianismo en los discursos médicos publicados en la prensa científica y comercial de las principales ciudades de Colombia. Esto explica el lugar preponderante de esos primeros contactos científicos entre la Sociedad Médica de Cartagena y sus homólogas de Colombia y del mundo en las páginas de la Gaceta Médica de Bolívar, tema asociado siempre al de las investigaciones bacteriológicas que se desarrollaban en ese momento en casi todas las capitales del mundo, incluidas las del continente americano.

Abstract: the objective of this article is to make an institutional development analysis and its perspectives in aburra valley under the light of the endogenous development theory. parting form the institutional development concept revision, some association experiences between different regional agents as evidences over the institutional transformation advancements are reviewed. furthermore, in order to obtain evidences on future possibilities on institutional development, coherence between objectives and strategies of the metropolitan integral development plan (pidm): metropolis 2008-2020 is analyzed. the main conclusion that the analysis shows is that aburra?s valley territory has been object of local development incentives, as well as in cooperation practices, association and public and private agent concentration for the design of local strategies for regional development. never the less, the main weakness that is evidenced is that until the moment no structured or planned action for institutional development exists.
Habilidad de estimación de los métodos de evapotranspiración para una zona semiárida del centro de México

Abstract: in arid and semiarid areas, the evapotranspiration process constitutes a major loss of water to the atmosphere, prompting the need for a better understanding and quantification of this phenomenon, especially in semiarid environments where water resources are scarce. there are many available methods to estimate evapotranspiration; however, their performance in specific environments must be evaluated before making a selection. a weather station was used to collect data from a semiarid zone of central mexico with the purpose to evaluate eight different methods for daily, weekly and monthly periods of observation. the estimated results were compared with measured data from an et gage company, as this device has been calibrated and proven to be closely associated to reference evapotranspiration data. the mean absolute error, root mean squared error, regression line intercept and slope, as well as determination coefficient r2, were obtained to statistically evaluate the performance of evaluated methods. a poor performance for all time scales was found for the oudin, mcguinness, jensen and haise, and romanenko methods, with high values of mean absolute error and root mean squared error. low values of the intercept, slope and r2 parameters were also obtained for such methods, making them not suitable and consequently not suited for the study area. on the other hand, the penman-monteith and penman methods, showed the best performance in different time scales. similar results have been fund by other authors, supporting penman-monteith as a method of reference. a multiple regression equation to predict reference from climatic variables was also obtained with r2= 0.8, 0.82 and 0.91 for daily, weekly and monthly scales, respectively, indicating the possibility of using regression models for semiarid conditions.

Abstract: En zonas áridas y semiáridas, el proceso de evapotranspiración constituye una gran pérdida de agua hacia la atmósfera, por lo que existe una necesidad por entender y cuantificar este proceso, especialmente en los ambientes semiáridos donde los recursos hídricos son escasos. Muchos métodos para estimar la evapotranspiración están disponibles; sin embargo, su desempe o bajo un ambiente específico tiene que ser evaluado antes de realizar una selección. Se utilizó una estación metereológica para tomar datos de una zona semiárida del centro de México, con el propósito de evaluar ocho diferentes métodos a una escala de observación diaria, semanal y mensual. Los resultados estimados se compararon con datos medidos de un ET gage company, ya que este instrumento ha sido calibrado y probado de estar estrechamente asociado a los datos de evapotranspiración de referencia. El error absoluto medio, el error de la media cuadrática, la intercepción y pendiente de la regresión lineal y el coeficiente de determinación R2, fueron obtenidos para evaluar estadísticamente el desempe o de los métodos evaluados. Se encontró un bajo desempe o para todas las escalas de tiempo de los métodos Oudin, McGuinness, Jensen y Haise, y Romanenko, con altos valores de error absoluto medio y error de la media cuadrática. Parámetros de valores bajos de intercepción, pendiente y R2; fueron obtenidos también para estos métodos, haciéndolos impropios y por lo tanto no recomendables para el área de estudio. Por otra parte, los métodos Penman-Monteith y Penman, mostraron el mejor desempe o a diferentes escalas de tiempo. Resultados similares se han encontrado por otros autores, apoyando el método de referencia de Penman-Monteith. Se obtuvo una ecuación de regresión múltiple para predecir la evapotranspiración de referencia derivada de las variables climáticas, con valores de R2= 0.8, 0.82 y 0.91 para escalas diarias, semanales y mensuales, respectivamente, indicando la posibilidad de usar modelos de regresión para condiciones semiáridas.
