International Journal of Business and Management , 2009, DOI: 10.5539/ijbm.v4n2p89
Abstract: The economical globalization brings the enterprise competition globalization is an indisputable fact, the enterprise participates in the international division of labor and the international competition becomes the question which any enterprise may can’t avoid, how the enterprise establishes the competitive advantage in the international competition, and maintains the sustainable competitive advantage is very important regarding to the enterprise’s development and survival. This article has analyzed enterprise international competitive advantage and the connotation and forms of mechanism of the sustainability, and has constructed the enterprise sustainable competitive advantage model.
Infection status and risk factors of HIV, HBV, HCV, and syphilis among drug users in Guangdong, China - a cross-sectional study

BMC Public Health , 2010, DOI: 10.1186/1471-2458-10-657
Abstract: A cross-sectional study on drug use behaviors, sex behaviors, and presence of antibodies to HIV, HCV, Treponema pallidum, and surface antigen of HBV (HBsAg) was conducted among drug users recruited from 3 detoxification centers in Qingyuan, Guangdong, China. Risk factors for each of four infections were analyzed with logistic regression model.A total of 740 subjects were recruited, the median age was 31 years old (range 24-38). The seroprevalence rates of HIV, HBsAg, HCV and syphilis were 4.6%, 19.3%, 71.6% and 12.6%, respectively. Risk factors for HIV were intravenous drug use and co-infection with syphilis. Having a regular sexual partner who was a drug user was considered to be a risk factor for HBV. Intravenous drug use was a risk factor for HCV. However, the consistent use of condoms with commercial sex partners was protective for HCV infection. Compared to drug users living in urban area, those living in rural areas were more likely to be infected with syphilis, and there was an association between commercial sex and syphilis. The prevalence of HIV, HBV, HCV and syphilis were high among drug users in detoxification centers in Qingyuan, thus, risk reduction programs for the drug user population is urgently required.Since adopting a free market economy and an open door policy in 1978, China has witnessed a remarkable increase in sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and HIV [1]. By the end of 2007, the cumulative number of HIV positive individuals reported in China was 223,501, including 62,838 AIDS cases and 22,205 recorded deaths, 38.5% of reported HIV positive people were infected via intravenous drug use (IDU) [2]. Meanwhile, the prevalence of some blood-borne and sexually transmitted infections, including HBV, HCV and syphilis among drug users is also alarming. Several Studies in China have confirmed that the prevalence of hepatitis B virus (HBV), hepatitis C virus (HCV) and syphilis in drug user population is higher than that in the general population. For

Abstract: High mycoplasmal infection ratio in gastric cancer tissues suggests a possible association between my-coplasma infection and tumorigenesis. Because TNF-a plays an important role in carcinogenesis caused by microbes in-fection and P37 is a major immunogen of mycoplasma hy-orhinis (M. hyor.), investigating whether P37 could induceexpression and secretion of TNF-a will be very significant to elucidate the possible molecular mechanism of gastric car-cinogenesis involved with M. hyor. At the present study, we cloned full gene of p37 by PCR and mutated the 7 codes of TGA into TGG firstly, then expressed the P37 protein suc-cessfully with pGEX-4T-1 vector in E. coli, which was veri-fied with Western blot. By RT-PCR and sensitive L929 cell toxic assay, we found that P37 protein could induce expres-sion and secretion of TNF-a from human peripheral bloodmononuclear cells, and the inducing activity of P37 could be dramatically blocked by McAb PD4. These results suggestthat the induction of TNF-a secretion by P37 probably plays an important role in diseases caused by M. hyor. infectionand needs to be further investigated.
Category of Attractor and Its Application  [PDF]
Jinying Wei, Yongjun Li, Mansheng Li
Journal of Applied Mathematics and Physics (JAMP) , 2015, DOI: 10.4236/jamp.2015.37086
Abstract:

In this paper, we provide a new approach to study the geometry of attractor. By applying category, we investigate the relationship between attractor and its attraction basin. In a complete metric space, we prove that the categories of attractor and its attraction basin are always equal. Then we apply this result to both autonomous and non-autonomous systems, and obtain a number of corresponding results.

The Existence and Stability of Synchronizing Solution of Non-Autonomous Equations with Multiple Delays  [PDF]

Journal of Applied Mathematics and Physics (JAMP) , 2016, DOI: 10.4236/jamp.2016.47136
Abstract:

In this paper, we consider an abstract non-autonomous evolution equation with multiple delays in a Hilbert space H: u'(t) + Au(t) = F(u(t-r1),...,u((t-rn)) + g(t),?where A: D(A)?HH?is a positive definite selfadjoint operator, F: HnaHis a nonlinear mapping, ?r1,...,rn?are nonnegative constants, and g(t) C(;H)?is bounded. Motivated by [1] [2], we obtain the existence and stability

An Explicit Solution for Perpetual American Put Options in a Markov-Modulated Jump Diffusion Model
Jinying Tong,Zhenzhong Zhang
Progress in Applied Mathematics , 2012, DOI: 10.3968/j.pam.1925252820120402.3025
Abstract: This paper is concerned with the pricing of perpetual American put options when the dynamics of the risky underlying asset are driven by a jump diffusion with Markovian switching. By using the ``modified smooth pasting'' technique, we derive an explicit optimal stopping rule and the corresponding value function in a closed form. Finally, we present a numerical example to illustrate the application of the exact solution.
Cultural Distance between China and US across GLOBE Model and Hofstede Model
SHI Xiumei,WANG Jinying
International Business and Management , 2011,
Abstract: This study focuses on the comparison of cultural distance between China and US across GLOBE (the Global Leadership and Organizational Behavior Effectiveness) Model and Hofstede Model. Research in the cultural distance between the two countries has always been a hot topic in international business field. This paper first gives a brief introduction of GLOBE Model and Hofstede Model, and compares the cultural distance between China and US from the 9 dimensions in GLOBE Model and the 5 dimensions in Hofstede Model, and then compares the different results yielded. Finally a way forward in the future research is suggested, and some issues for further research into this fundamental area of international business are canvassed.Key words: Cultural distance; GLOBE Model; Hofstede Model; China; US

Interpreting Hofstede Model and GLOBE Model: Which Way to Go for Cross-Cultural Research?
Xiumei Shi,Jinying Wang
International Journal of Business and Management , 2011, DOI: 10.5539/ijbm.v6n5p93
Abstract: This study focuses on the comparison between the cultural dimensions of Hofstede Model and GLOBE (the Global Leadership and Organizational Behavior Effectiveness) Model in data collection and countries (and regions) participating in both Models, different dimensions and methodology and analysis conclusion. The two models have similarities but still differ a lot. These differences in research design can cause different results when the two dimensional models applied to different research fields. The authors choose to compare the two cultural Models since both of them choose to measure cultural dimensions with scores. Finally a way forward in the future research is suggested, and some issues for further research into this fundamental area of international business are canvassed.
