Injection Molding of W-Ni-Fe Nanocomposite Powder Prepared by Mechanical Alloying

Abstract: Nanocrystalline 90W-7Ni-3Fe (wt pct) composite powder was prepared by mechanical alloying and mixed with binder to form a feedstock. Its rheological and sintering behaviors were compared with those of the feedstock from the original powder. It is found that milling can increase the maximum powder loading of feedstock and enhance the sintering densification process.
Effect of Rare Earth Y on Properties of Nanosized 90W-7Ni-3Fe Composite Powder Fabricated by Spray Drying-Hydrogen Reduction

Abstract: (W,Ni,Fe) composite oxide powder synthesized by spray drying was reduced at 700°C for 90 minutes in H2 atmosphere. The effect of rare earth Y on H2 reduction of (W,Ni,Fe) composite oxide powder was studied. Phase composition, crystalline size, and particle morphology of the reduced powder have been measured by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscope (SEM). Fsss particle size and special surface area of the reduced powder were also measured and analyzed. The result showed that new phase Y(Ni0.75W0.25)O3 appeared in the reduced powder and particle morphology was nearly spherical or polyhedron by Y additions. The higher the rare earth element content was, the bigger the influencing on particle morphology was. When the rare earth Y content was under 0.8%, with the increase of the rare earth element content, BET, Fsss, and crystal sizes of the reduced powder decreased greatly.
Formation Mechanism of Microstructure of Fe2(MoO4)3/Si3N4 Composite Powder by Hydrogen Reduction

Abstract: The microstructure characterization of Fe2(MoO4)3 and Fe2(MoO4)3/Si3N4 composite powder reduced by hydrogen were investigated, and the formation mechanism of the latter was analyzed. The results show that the microstructure of Fe2(MoO4)3 powder particles reduced by hydrogen was consisted by Mo particles coated with thin layer of Fe with thickness around 20 nm. The microstructure of the other were two kinds of particles with different structure which were consisted by Mo particles coated with nanometer-thin layers of Fe with thickness about 3–5 nm and nano Fe–Mo nitride, Si and Mo as adhesive materials on Si3N4 particles surface. The formation reason of the microstructure of Fe2(MoO4)3/Si3N4 composite powder reduced by hydrogen powder was two reactions during the reduction process. One is the decomposition-reduction reaction of Fe2(MoO4)3, the other is the reaction between the surface of Fe2(MoO4)3 and Si3N4.
Overexpression of WRAP53 Is Associated with Development and Progression of Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Abstract: Background Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) is a highly aggressive cancer whose underlying molecular mechanisms are poorly understood. The natural antisense transcript (NAT) WRAP53 regulates p53 expression and WRAP53 protein is a component of telomerase. NATs play key roles in carcinogenesis, and although WRAP53 is known to increase cancer cell survival, its role in ESCC clinicopathology is unknown. The aim of this study was to investigate WRAP53 expression in ESCC and to correlate it with clinicopathological characteristics. Methods WRAP53 mRNA and protein expression was measured by quantitative PCR (qRT-PCR) and western blotting, respectively, in 4 ESSC cells lines and in 45 paired ESCC and non-neoplastic esophageal mucosa tissues. To correlate WRAP53 protein expression with clinicopathological characteristics, immunohistochemistry (IHC) was performed on 134 ESCC and 85 non-neoplastic esophageal mucosa tissues. Results Expression of WRAP53 was detected in all ESCC cell lines and was upregulated in the ESCC tissues compared with the corresponding non-neoplastic tissues (P<0.01). More cells expressed WRAP53 protein in the ESCC tissues than in the non-neoplastic tissues (P<0.01). Overexpression of WRAP53 was significantly correlated with tumor infiltration depth (P = 0.000), clinical stage (P = 0.001), and lymph node metastasis (P = 0.025). Wrap53 expression was not correlated with age, gender, or tumor differentiation. Conclusion This report indicates increased expression of WRAP53 in ESCC and that WRAP53 overexpression is correlated with tumor progression. WRAP53 may play a significant role in ESCC; accordingly, WRAP53 could be a useful biomarker for ESCC.

Abstract: 摘要 开放式网络环境下,外部组织整合是促进企业创新并提升其绩效的关键因素。以知识获取为中介变量、吸收能力为调节变量,构建一个被调节的中介模型,探究信息分享、关系协调、共同参与影响企业外部知识获取,进而影响新服务开发绩效的微观机理,并以247家服务企业为样本进行实证研究。研究发现,信息分享、关系协调和共同参与不仅直接正向影响新服务开发绩效,还通过知识获取的中介作用间接正向影响新服务开发绩效;吸收能力不但正向调节知识获取和新服务开发绩效之间的关系,还增强了知识获取的中介作用,存在被调节的中介效应

Abstract: To provide basis for sand excavation of hydraulic fill and land forming in Daohukou region in a watercourse (Wuhan reach) on Yangtze River, a 2-D water-sand mathematic model of this river reach is established. The variation of water levels of this reach and the back silting of watercourse after sand excavation are calculated. The rationality of the results calculated by this model and the measured data are validated and analyzed. The results show that, this model is reasonable and reliable.

Abstract: There are millions of Chinese workers in Japan, most as trainees and interns hired in small or medium sized industries. While they work hard and contribute great to the economic development of Japan, there also exist some problems arising from the mechanism which have to be faced by both Japanese and Chinese governments. On analyzing the status of the trainees and interns, the author exposed some problems in the system, and presents some suggestions from the legal view for the future at last.
Use of metformin during pregnancy for women with polycystic ovary syndrome  [PDF]

Objective: The purpose of this article is to review the literature assessing foetal and maternal pregnancy outcomes in women with PCOS who used metformin during pregnancy. Study Design: A literature search was conducted using MEDLINE, with analysis of 25 studies that recorded neonatal and maternal outcomes in women who used metformin during pregnancy. The outcomes assessed in this review include congenital deformities, miscarriages, preterm labour, gestational diabetes (GDM) and pregnancy induced hypertension (PIH). Results: We found that the use of metformin throughout pregnancy correlated with decreased rates of preterm labour, GDM and PIH. Conflicting evidence exists over whether metformin use during pregnancy reduced miscarriage rates. The use of metformin during pregnancy did not increase teratogenicity risks. Conclusion: The use of metformin throughout pregnancy is associated with decreased rates of preterm labour, GDM, and PIH. However, more randomised controls involving larger numbers of participants are required for more definitive results.

Abstract: Marxism was indeed vulgarized due to scientism in the 20th century, which even limits the development of Chinese social theories nowadays. This paper put forward the idea that it was serious misunderstanding to interpret Marx as prophet or inventor like empiricists who regard finding out eternal laws as the goal of science. In fact, Marx did not propose any so-called “natural laws of historical development”. He articulated that the only thing worth to do was to take note of what happened before his eyes and to become its mouthpiece. Thus, to understand science in the face of social practice, to analyze everything historically and never to thrust “eternal” laws in any era should be taken as the core of Marx’s new science, which is very important to China today.

Abstract: The proper phase difference of traffic signals for adjacent intersections could decrease the time of operational delay. Some theorems show how to minimize the total average delay time for vehicle operating at adjacent intersections under given conditions. If the distance and signal cycles of adjacent intersections satisfy with specific conditions, the total average delay time would achieve zero. If the signal cycles of adjacent intersections and the phase difference of them are co-prime numbers, the total average delay time would be a constant. In general, if signal cycles of adjacent intersections and the phase difference of them are reducible numbers, the minimum total average delay time would be solved by the given algorithm. Numerical experiments have verified the rationality of these theorems.
