Protective Effects of α-Tocopherol against Brain Tissue Damage Induced by Intracerebral Hemorrhage in SD Rats  [PDF]

Abstract: Lipid peroxidation mediated by oxygen radical is one of the main mechanisms underlying secondary brain injury. Among all vitamin E compounds, α-tocopherol shows the most prominent antioxidative effects. It plays an important role in cell aging and injury. However, there has been no report regarding the effects of α-tocopherol on changes in brain tissue morphology after intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH), cerebral edema, or the expression of Bax and Bcl-2 proteins. We use SD rats to carry out the related studies; based on the atlas of SD rats, the caudate nucleus was positioned using a stereotaxic apparatus, and 50 μl autologous tail artery blood was injected to caudate nucleus in the ICH and α-tocopherol groups to establish ICH model. Rats in the sham surgery group received the same volume of saline in the caudate nucleus. Rats in the α-tocopherol group received intraperitoneal injections of α-tocopherol at 600 mg/kg every day. Rats in the ICH group and sham surgery group received the same amount of saline at the same times as those in the α-tocopherol group. Xieite, a new mineral of high-pressure FeCr2O4 polymorph

Abstract: Xieite, a new mineral, occurs in the shock vein of the Suizhou meteorite. The mineral has an orthorhombic structure and its space group is Bbmm. The cell parameters are a = 9.462(6) , b = 9.562(9) , c = 2.916(1) . The crystal-chemical formula is (Fe0.87Mg0.13Mn0.01)1.01(Cr1.62Al0.25Ti0.08V0.02)1.97O4, or simply formula FeCr2O4. Stronger X-ray diffraction lines are [d ( ), lll o]: (2.675, 100), (2.389, 20), (2.089, 10), (1.953, 90), (1.566, 60), (1.439, 15), (1.425, 15), (1.337, 40). Xieite is a high pressure polymorph of FeCr2O4 and formed by solid-state transformation of chromite under shock-induced high pressure and temperature, in association with other high-pressure minerals including ringwoodite, majorite, lingunite and tuite. The P-T condition for the formation of xieite is estimated to be 18–23 GPa and 1800–1950°C, respectively. Xieite has recently been approved by the Commission on New Minerals, Nomenclature and Classification of the International Mineralogical Association (IMA 2007-056). The mineral name, xieite, is named after Xiande Xie.

Abstract: It is a well-established fact that corruption is a widespread phenomenon and it is widely acknowledged because of negative impact on economy and society. An important aspect of corruption is that two parties act separately or jointly in order to further their own interests at the expense of society. Most of countries have setup the special organization in order to strength anti-corruption. The paper presents a new measure based on introducing game theory as an analytical tool for analyzing the relation between anti-corruption and corruption. Firstly, the paper introduce the corruption situation in China, then give the definition of the game theory and studies government anti-corruption activity through construct the game theoretic models between anti-corruption and corruption, the relation between supervisor and the anti-corruption be explained next. A thorough analysis of the mechanism of informant system has been made accordingly in the third part. At last, some suggestions for preventing and fight corruption are put forward.
Marketing Channel Sustainable Development on Self-organization

Abstract: Marketing channel plays a key role for the success of an enterprise in gaining competitive edge, markets demanding agility and quick market responsiveness which represent complex phenomena in global competition. To discover the behavior and mechanism of organization, nowadays, more and more people have paid attention to the complexity theory such as self-organization, dissipative structure theory, synergetic theory, etc. The paper introduces the concept of self-organization theories and marketing channel firstly. Then enlightened by the systematical methodology, the paper puts forward the concept of sustainable development of organization on the basis of analyzing the characteristics of self-organization marketing channel. A thorough analysis of the mechanism of marketing channel sustainable development has been made accordingly. Finally, the paper adopts the marketing channel of TCL Group as an example, indicating that the success of TCL Group is mostly due to its effective and efficient self-organized marketing channel.
Study on Undeveloped Areas Sustainable Development: A Theoretical Framework of Place Marketing Strategy and System Analysis

Simulative experimental research on reuse treatment of regeneration wastewater from ion exchange resin

Abstract: A great deal of saline wastewater is discharged during the regeneration process which used to renew the capability of ion exchange resin. Simulative experimental researches were carried out for the reuse treatment of this wastewater. Considering the different characters of the five regeneration phases, the wastewater can be separated into two parts: high concentration saline wastewater and lower concentration part. Two-step precipitation were applied to treat the high concentration saline wastewater, while the lower concentration part can be reused as clean water after small amount of flocculation medicament treatment or be directly recycled after small part is discharged. The experimental result shows that most amount of Ca2+ and Mg2+ in the high concentration wastewater can be removed, the clarifying saline water can be reused after adding salt and hydrochloric acid , and two kinds of sediments can also be recycled.
Combining manifold learning and nonlinear regression for head pose estimation

Abstract: Manifold learning attempts can be used to obtain the intrinsic structure of the non-linear data, which can be used in non-linea dimensionality reduction. The general regression neural network (GRNN) is a kind of artificial neural network, which can be used in non-linear regression. In this paper, the ManiNLR method, which is based on manifold learning and nonlinear regression, is proposed for head pose estimation. ManiNLR performs manifold learning on the digital image,and then uses GRNN to map the data into the linear separable space,finally using the result to estimate the head pose. Experiments show that ManiNLR can better estimate the head pose in digital images,and has the advantages of high speed and high robustness.
An Improved String-Searching Algorithm and Its Application in Component Security Testing

Abstract: Mass monitor logs are produced during the process of component security testing. In order to mine the explicit and implicit security exception information of the tested component, the log should be searched for keyword strings. However, existing string-searching algorithms are not very efficient or appropriate for the operation of searching monitor logs during component security testing. For mining abnormal information effectively in monitor logs, an improved string-searching algorithm is proposed. The main idea of this algorithm is to search for the first occurrence of a character in the main string. The character should be different and farther from the last character in the pattern string. With this algorithm, the backward moving distance of the pattern string will be increased and the matching time will be optimized. In the end, we conduct an experimental study based on our approach, the results of which show that the proposed algorithm finds strings in monitor logs 11.5% more efficiently than existing approaches.
