On Weak Solutions of SDEs with Singular Time-Dependent Drift and Driven by Stable Processes

Abstract: Let $d \ge 2$. In this paper, we study weak solutions for the following type of stochastic differential equation \[ dX_{t}=dS_{t}+b(s+t, X_{t})dt, \quad X_{0}=x, \] where $(s,x)\in \mathbb{R}_+ \times \mathbb{R}^{d}$ is the initial starting point, $b: \mathbb{R}_+ \times \mathbb{R}^{d} \to \mathbb{R}^{d}$ is measurable, and $S=(S_{t})_{t \ge 0}$ is a $d$-dimensional $\alpha$-stable process with index $\alpha \in (1,2)$. We show that if the $\alpha$-stable process $S$ is non-degenerate and $b \in L_{loc}^{\infty}(\mathbb{R}_{+};L^{\infty}(\mathbb{R}^{d}))+ L_{loc}^{q}(\mathbb{R}_{+};L^{p}(\mathbb{R}^{d}))$ for some $p,q>0$ with $d/ p+\alpha/q <\alpha-1$, then the above SDE has a unique weak solution for every starting point $(s,x)\in \mathbb{R}_+ \times \mathbb{R}^{d}$.
An Uncertain Programming Model for Competitive Logistics Distribution Center Location Problem  [PDF]

Abstract:

We employ uncertain programming to investigate the competitive logistics distribution center location problem in uncertain environment, in which the demands of customers and the setup costs of new distribution centers are uncertain variables. This research was studied with the assumption that customers patronize the nearest distribution center to satisfy their full demands. Within the framework of uncertainty theory, we construct the expected value model to maximize the expected profit of the new distribution center. In order to seek for the optimal solution, this model can be transformed into its deterministic form by taking advantage of the operational law of uncertain variables. Then we can use mathematical software to obtain the optimal location. In addition, a numerical example is presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the presented model.

Neural Network Sliding Mode based Current Decoupled Control for Induction Motor Drive

Abstract: This study deals with the problem of stator currents coupling effect in induction motor drives. In field oriented control, d-axis stator current and q-axis stator current should be regulated independently. However, the stator currents in d-q synchronously rotating reference frame are not naturally decoupled, therefore, a new control scheme for current control is proposed that utilizes Sliding Mode Control (SMC) and Radial Basis Function Neural Network (RBFNN) to achieve the decoupling without considerable chattering. In this control strategy, a RBFNN controller replaces the discontinuous part of the sliding mode controller to eliminate undesired chattering of conventional sliding mode controller. The decoupling method in this study uses two RBFNN sliding mode controllers to regulate d-axis stator current and q-axis stator current, respectively. Finally, simulation results of the proposed scheme have presented perfect performances, such as perfect decoupling, strong robustness and reduced chattering, in comparison with proportional-integral controller and sliding mode controller.
A Robust Wavelet-based Blind Digital Watermarking Algorithm

Abstract: In this study we proposed a novel blind digital watermarking algorithm in wavelet domain. In order to realize extracting which not to depend on the original image excessively, we apply quantifying idea. Since the human visual system has especial responses on textures, the watermark embedded on textures has good robustness to general image processing and other attacks. So adjusting embedding strength through classifying embedded coefficients by using the detail coefficients that lies in the same layer with embedded coefficients. Present algorithm proved its robustness to general image processing and geometric attacks through experiments. The conclusions obtained by experiments are useful to the copyright protection and covert communication research in the future.

Abstract: We derive the five dimensional Myers-Perry metric via an elementary method to solve the vacuum Einstein field equations directly. This method firstly proposed by Clotz is very simple since it merely involves four components of Ricci tensor and only requires us to deal with some equations without second derivatives' terms when the metric ansatz is assumed to take an appropriate form.

Abstract: This paper provides a methodology for valuing a credit default swap (CDS) with considering a counterparty default risk. Using a structural framework, we study the correlation of the reference entity and the counterparty through the joint distribution of them. The default event discussed in our model is associated to whether the minimum value of the companies in stochastic processes has reached their thresholds (default barriers). The joint probability of minimums of correlated Brownian motions solves the backward Kolmogorov equation, which is a two dimensional partial differential equation. A closed pricing formula is obtained. Numerical methodology, parameter analysis and calculation examples are implemented.
The Expression of NF-κB in the Glomerulus of Hyperlipidemia Rats  [PDF]

Abstract: Background: The present study was to explore the underlying mechanism of the nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-κB) and the level of monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1) in hyperlipidemia rats. Methods: Rats were given with high fat diet and vitamin D3 by intragastric administration. After four weeks, the level of the plasma cholesterol, low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDLC), MCP-1 and NF-κB were detected by immunohistochemical method and enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Results: The levels of the plasma cholesterol and LDLC were higher than that of the control group. A significant in-crease for the expressions of MCP-1 and NF-κB was observed. Conclusion: This indi-cated that the activation of NF-κB could play a crucial role in glomerulus of hyperlipidemia rats.

Abstract: A method is introduced to study the transmission and scattering properties of acoustic waves in two–dimen- sional phononic band gap (PBG) materials. First, it is used to calculate the transmission coefficients of PBG samples. Second, the transmitted power is calculated based on the far field approach. We have also calcu- lated the scattering cross section, the results indicate that phononic band gap appear in frequency regions between two well separated resonance states.
The analysis of volatile flavor components of Jin Xiang garlic and Tai’an garlic  [PDF]

Abstract:

The volatile flavor compounds of Jin Xiang garlic and Tai’an garlic in chemical composition were detected and analyzed and the contents of them were compared and determinated. The volatile constituents of Jin Xiang garlic and Tai’an garlic were compared and analyzed by automatic static headspace and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. Qualitative analysis of samples was made through the analysis of gas chromatography-mass spectrometry and NIST mass spectral library computer retrieval, and quantitative analysis was made by using area normalization method. The analysis results show that the slight difference of the volatile flavor compounds was detected in different places of origin garlic and Jin Xiang garlic was detected more total sulfur-containing compounds than Tai’an garlic. Meanwhile, the contents of sulfur compounds of the fresh garlic were more than the stored garlic and there were significant differences between them. The tests results indicated that flavor substances’ types were slightly different between Jin Xiang garlic and Tai’an garlic, and regional differences cannot affect the garlic flavor substances type. Jin Xiang garlic has more obvious flavor substances than Tai’an garlic which play a decisive role in the garlic flavor, such as 1,3-dithiane, and allyl trisulfide and allyl disulfide and diallyl tetrasulphide. The result of this research indicates that Automatic static headspace and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry is a fast, easy, efficient and accurate method to analyze and identify the volatile flavor components of garlic.

Application Study on Rigidity Correlation Method for Density Inversion of Rockfill  [PDF]

Abstract: Based on the theoretical model of rigidity correlation method, the study on application was carried out with Chinese Liyuan face rockfill dam as example. The linear relation equations between the rockfill rigidity and density measured by pit method were established, and the regression performance and accuracy of rigidity correlation method were analyzed by calculating the inversion values of density. The results show that the regression equations of rigidity correlation method are high significant so as to work out the rockfill density precisely; rigidity correlation method is used for density inversion of rockfill with minor error and namely high accuracy, which is proper with satisfactory results.
