Abstract: This paper emphasized the importance of tourist environment protection for the tourism development in present and future from the angle of tourism sustainable development in Fujian. It discussed the conception of tourist environment and its relative elements. The position of tourist environment in the tourist value of tonristy landscape area was expounded. The author analysed the environmental problems and its seriousness in development tourism in Fujian. Finally, to direct the above problems the paper proposed the environmental counter measure to found the sustainable tourism.
Study on the technology for highway construction and engineering practices in permafrost regions

Abstract: In order to systemically summarize and integrate technology of highway construction in permafrost regions on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, we studied disciplines and mechanisms of formation and development of problems and challenges in highway engineering in high-altitude permafrost regions based on construction experiences for 50 years and on 30 years of research regarding the Qinghai-Tibet and Xikang highways. Embankments, pavements, bridges, and countermeasures for ecosystem protection in permafrost regions were the main study objects. We combined extensive analysis of key problems of engineering stability with interaction between permafrost and highways, theoretical models, indoor tests, and field tests to reveal the interaction between embankments, pavements, bridge piles, and permafrost. In this paper, we propose a series of engineering measures for highway stability, design parameters, key indexes for pavement durability in low temperature, relationships between re-freezing time of bridge-pile foundation and strength development as well as ecosystem recovery in high-latitude cold regions; these eventually form a construction technology package for permafrost regions.
Why Are You More Engaged? Predicting Social Engagement from Word Use

Abstract: We present a study to analyze how word use can predict social engagement behaviors such as replies and retweets in Twitter. We compute psycholinguistic category scores from word usage, and investigate how people with different scores exhibited different reply and retweet behaviors on Twitter. We also found psycholinguistic categories that show significant correlations with such social engagement behaviors. In addition, we have built predictive models of replies and retweets from such psycholinguistic category based features. Our experiments using a real world dataset collected from Twitter validates that such predictions can be done with reasonable accuracy.

Abstract: In long-code used DS/CDMA communication systems, the convergence of performance is limited by the number of users in multi-stage Linear Soft Decision Parallel Interference Cancellation (LSD-PIC) multiuser detectors. In this paper, the precondition method in matrix computation is proposed to be applied to improve the convergence of iteration and overcome the convergence breakdown in the case of high load for the LSD-PIC multiuser detectors. Furthermore, the polynomial preconditioner which could be obtained by low computational complexity is proposed, and the optimal coefficients for zero-order and first order polynomial preconditioner are deduced.
Who Will Retweet This? Automatically Identifying and Engaging Strangers on Twitter to Spread Information

Abstract: There has been much effort on studying how social media sites, such as Twitter, help propagate information in different situations, including spreading alerts and SOS messages in an emergency. However, existing work has not addressed how to actively identify and engage the right strangers at the right time on social media to help effectively propagate intended information within a desired time frame. To address this problem, we have developed two models: (i) a feature-based model that leverages peoples' exhibited social behavior, including the content of their tweets and social interactions, to characterize their willingness and readiness to propagate information on Twitter via the act of retweeting; and (ii) a wait-time model based on a user's previous retweeting wait times to predict her next retweeting time when asked. Based on these two models, we build a recommender system that predicts the likelihood of a stranger to retweet information when asked, within a specific time window, and recommends the top-N qualified strangers to engage with. Our experiments, including live studies in the real world, demonstrate the effectiveness of our work.

Abstract: Isotropic yield surfaces of bcc and fec metals have been simulated with TBH theory.Using thefive-dimensional stress space proposed recently by Lequeu et al.,the yield subsurfaces on anytwo of the three shear stresses can be considered as the inscribed circles of their correspondingsubsurfaces on n plane.Based on this concept,Hershey,Hosford and Hill (HHH) yield func-tion has been transformed into the formula where the parameters are uniquely determined bytwo crystallographic factors:the mean Taylor factor in plane strain (M_p) and the criticalshear stress (τ_) on slip systems.
Effects of culture condition on fatty acids in Pseudomonas sp

Abstract: The investigation on the growth of Pseudomonas sp. and the dynamics of its fatty acids under various culture conditions indicated that the optimum temperature for its growth was 30 degrees C, and the best carbon source was starch. 13 kinds of fatty acids were detected, among which, c16:1(n-7), c15:0, c16:0, c17:0, c18:1(n-6), c18:1 (n-9), 9, 10-cp-c17:0 and iso9, 10-cp-c17:0 were the major ones. When cultured at 30 degrees C, the relative content of unsaturated fatty acids decreased significantly. Carbon source in the media was the crucial factor affecting the contents of odd- and cyclopropane fatty acids. Cluster analysis revealed that temperature had a more obvious effect than carbon source.
Electrical Performance of Electron Irradiated SiGe HBT and Si BJT

Abstract: The change of electrical performances of 1 MeV electron irradiated silicon-germanium (SiGe) heterojunction bipolar transistor (HBT) and Si bipolar junction transistor (BJT) was studied. After electron irradiation, both the collector current IC and the base current IB changed a little, and the current gainβ decreased a little for SiGe HBT. The higher the electron irradiation fluence was, the lower the IC decreased. For conventional Si BJT, IC and IB increased as well asβ decreased much larger than SiGe HBT under the same fluence. The contribution of IB was more important to the degradation ofβ for both SiGeHBT and Si BJT. It was shown that SiGe HBT had a larger anti-radiation threshold and better anti-radiation performance than Si BJT. The mechanism of electrical performance changes induced by irradiation was preliminarily discussed.

Abstract: NCEP/NCAR reanalysis data, the Arctic Oscillation (AO) index and the atmospheric visibility (Vis) data at 134 sites in eastern China (ECN) are used to investigate the possible influence of AO on the wintertime weather and Vis over ECN. A higher relative humidity (RH, compared with the normal year) is identified over ECN in the winters with a positive phase of AO, and the wind anomaly is generally inshore in the coast areas of China. All these processes are consistent with Vis degradation over ECN. On the contrary, in the winters with a negative phase of AO, a lower RH can be identified over ECN, and the wind anomaly is generally offshore, which is favorable for Vis improvement.
