Migrant Workers’ Willingness to Purchase Houses on the Working Sites and Its Influencing Factors—Take Guangzhou as an Example  [PDF]

Abstract: With the development of urbanization in China, more and more migrant workers are working in cities, gradually becoming an important part of urban construction and social development. Guangzhou is one of the major influxes of migrant workers. Migrant workers want to integrate better into urban life. Housing is an important condition. In order to regulate the purchase of real estate and migrant workers, this paper studies the willingness of peasant workers in Guangzhou to purchase houses and the influencing factors. This paper mainly uses the survey method to collect the collected data using SPSS17.00 for statistical analysis of the sample, interactive analysis of the contingency table, and two-factor correlation analysis, to obtain the willingness of the migrant workers to purchase houses at the working sites and its influencing factors. Mainly from four aspects to analyze the migrant workers in the workers’ purchase intention and its influencing factors: Self-characteristics, family characteristics, employment characteristics and working sites characteristics. The results show that the older migrant workers are, the weaker willingness to purchase houses, the higher migrant workers’ level of education, the higher income level, and the higher job satisfaction, the stronger willingness to purchase houses. The higher ratio of migrant workers’ non-labour population is, the weaker willingness to purchase houses. The migrant workers who have contracted land in their hometowns are more reluctant to buy houses at the working sites. Migrant workers have friends and relatives in the working area. The more satisfied they are with the cultural environment and convenience of transportation, the stronger willingness to purchase a house. This article points out that migrant workers should be provided with guidance in the purchase of houses on the working site, improve the ability of migrant workers to purchase houses, increase the construction of affordable housing, solidify rural rights and interests, encourage migrant workers to “carry capital into the city”, improve the vocational training system, and strengthen migrant workers. Employment ability allows more migrant workers to have the ability to purchase homes on the working site and increase their willingness to purchase, thereby increasing their sense of well-being.
Calculation and Empirical Analysis on the Contributions of R&D Spending and Patents to China’s Economic Growth  [PDF]

Abstract: Based on the national data from 1995 to 2014, we develop an extended C-D production function model alongside with the Solow growth rate equation to investigate contributions of R&D expenditures and patents to China’s GDP respectively. Results indicate that: 1) both R&D expenditures and patents granted are significantly positive correlated with GDP and the growing output elasticity to GDP is in leaps and bounds after 2000 and 2005; 2) comparing to patents granted, R&D expenditures account for a higher share of contribution to economic growth and the both shares show a fluctuating downward trend; 3) the output elasticity of labor is significantly higher than other factors, signaling capital saving technical progress in China. The elasticity coefficient of scientific-technical progress to GDP is small. Nevertheless, its influence is gradually increasing and the intensive economic growth transformation has formed. Some policy implications are distilled after empirical analysis. R&D application, transformation and related incentive mechanism should be improved. Besides, the fields of R&D funding should be adjusted to further coordinate the relationship between the structure of R&D expenditures and the industrial structure.
Electronic Nose Technology Based on Quantum Dot Filters  [PDF]

The electronic nose with chemical dyes as sensor can react with target gas and have specific color changes. In general, RGB camera collects a group of images to record these changes used for pattern recognition. RGB filters are not sensitive to the slight color changes, which limits the performance of this kind of electronic nose. This paper demonstrates using quantum dot spec-troscopy technology to solve this problem. Multiple quantum dot filters are placed on the surface of image sensor. When capturing images, there are more response channels of the same incident light than RGB filters. Simulation and experiment both prove that quantum dot filters with appropriate processing are more sensitive to color changes than RGB filters.
Digital Assets Price Forecast Based on POW Mining Mechanism  [PDF]

Abstract: With the birth of blockchain technology, digital assets such as Bitcoin have also rapidly developed. In recent years, although the development of digital assets has been blocked by national policies, it is still favored by many investors in the capital market. Today, the price of Bitcoin has reached as high as 4000 $, and some early investors in Bitcoin have received rich returns. But the fluctuations in bitcoin prices are also difficult for investors to ponder, and even let some people lose their money. By analyzing the factors affecting the price of bitcoin, this paper predicts the trend of bitcoin price through linear regression model through the difficulty of mining based on POW mechanism and people’s attention to digital assets (Google Trend Index), thus providing investors with some reference comments.

Abstract: Folk law has been playing an Important role In Chinese thousands of years history and culture.In the process of the rule of law in China,China pays too much attention to western legal culture rather than China's national conditions,which resluts in the fact that it is difficult for state law to go to the countryside and folk law can not play its due role in building the rule of law effectively. This paper analyzes why state law system in rural areas is difficult to be carried out in-depth from theory aspect and practical aspect.And then proposes approaches of integration for state law and folk law,so as to better facilitate the process of the rule of law. Key words: Folk Law; Rural Society; State Law Resumé: Le droit populaire a joué un r le important dans l'histoire et la culture chinoises. Dans le processus de la construction du règne de la loi en Chine, la Chine accorde trop d'attention à la culture juridique occidentale plut t qu'aux conditions nationales de la Chine, ce qui reslute dans le fait qu'il est difficile d'appliquer le droit de l'Etat à la campagne et que le droit populaire ne peut pas jouer son r le dans la construction d'un règne de droit efficace. Cet article analyse pourquoi le système de loi de l'Etat dans les zones rurales est difficile à être réalisé en profondeur à partir des aspects théoriques et pratiques. Il propose ensuite des approches de l'intégration pour le droit de l'état et le droit populaire, afin de mieux faciliter le processus de l’élaboration du règne de la loi. Since the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) shifted its center of gravity from rural to urban areas in the late 1940s, however, China’s major cities have received the greatest makeovers, in both physical and visual terms. Abstract: Mint is a newly identified molecule that mediates signal transduction and modulates chromatin repression. Mint family members contain a highly conserved C-terminus SPOC domain (SpenParalog and OrthologsC-terminal domain) commonly associated with proliferation and related diseases (for example: cancer) due to its role in cell differentiation and apoptosis. In this study, we addressed the SPOC function using a tetracycline-inducible system to express the target domain in Ain V15 embryonic ES cells and bone marrow stem cells from SPOC transenic mice. In vitro differentiation of Ain V15 ES cells as a model of early hematopoietic development, we found expression of SPOC domain induces hematopoietic differentiation via up-regulation of transcription factors Bmp4 and Smad5, which induce the expression of hematopoietic factors Eklf1 and hematopoietic proliferation associated factor Gata2, the SPOC domain also plays the regulation function in the differentiation of hematopoitic progenitor by colony forming Unit (CFU) assays. Further, we determined SPOC expression enhances erythrocyte and granulocyte maturationusing bone marrow cells derived from tiSPOC chimeric mice. Finally, we identified that overexpression of full length Mint in ES cells drive Smad5 and Bmp4 up-regulation under culture conditions, and up-regulation of endogenous Mint when induceshematopoitic differentiation of EML, M1 and WT18 cells. In summary, our study reveals the conserved SPOC domain of Mint protein induces differentiation both in the stages of embryonic stem cells and hematopoietic progenitor cells.
