A Realization Method of Protocol Conversion Between Modbus and IEC61850  [PDF]

Abstract: In order to adapt to the construction needs of the smart grid, smart substation need to solve the problem of protocol conversion between the conventional non-standardized condition monitoring equipment and the standardized monitoring system. This paper proposed a realization method of conversion method between Modbus and IEC61850. Object-oriented technology is used for information model on Modbus. After the analysis of IEC61850 and MMS information and service model, to establish the model mapping relationship between IEC61850, MMS and Modbus based on the principle of minimum information point which is one to one correspondence. Combined with the implementation of SISCO MMS-EASE LITE software development kit programming, giving a realization method using QT programming techniques based on the mapping model. Finally, the establishment the interval controller as an example of protocol scheme verifies the correctness and the feasibility of protocol conversion method.
Meteor radar observation of circulation near mesopause over Wuhan

Abstract: The Wuhan meteor radar is the first all-sky meteor radar in China. The circulation near the mesopause from February to September 2002 is studied based on the data obtained by the Wuhan meteor radar. The zonal wind is usually eastward in winter from 80 to 100 km. The mean zonal wind become westward from March to early of May, when the winter circulation reverses to the summer circulation. But at the meteor heights, the zonal circulation usually becomes eastward after the middle of May. The meridional circulation is always equatorward. The peaks of the meridional wind move downward with the height, and the peak value reaches its maximum of 21 ms 1 in July. Having made a comparison between monthly mean wind and HWM93 model wind, the value of southward wind, the maximal value of eastward wind as well as the reversal height of zonal wind are found to be quite different from each other.
Correlation between ionospheric longitudinal harmonic components and upper atmospheric tides

Abstract: There is strong correlation among the ionospheric longitudinal structures of wavenumber-3 (WN3), wavenumber-4 (WN4), and eastward-propagating diurnal tides with zonal wave numbers s = 2 and 3 (DE2 and DE3) in the upper atmosphere. The total electron content derived from the Global Ionospheric Maps of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory is used to deduce the latitudinally total electron content (ITEC) in the low-latitude ionosphere, and TIDE/TIMED observations are employed to obtain zonal and meridian winds of the mesopause and lower thermosphere. Through Fourier transformation, various ionospheric longitudinal harmonic components and tidal patterns are derived from the ionospheric and upper-atmospheric observations, and we compare the annual/inter-annual variations in ionospheric harmonic components WN3 and WN4 with those in atmospheric tides (DE2 and DE3). It is found that the annual and inter-annual variations in WN3 and WN4 are consistent with those in DE2 and DE3 zonal wind components respectively, while they are inconsistent with those in the meridian components. We then decompose the harmonic components into “tidal patterns”, finding that the “DE2” and “DE3” patterns are the main parts of WN3 and WN4 respectively. Their annual and inter-annual variations are similar to those of atmospheric tidal patterns (DE2 and DE3). Complex correlation results show that correlation between the ionospheric “DE2” in WN3 and the atmospheric tidal DE2 zonal wind component is quite strong in the Northern Hemisphere, while that between the ionospheric “DE3” in WN4 and the atmospheric tidal DE3 zonal wind component is much stronger at low latitudes. At the same time, the contribution of the meridian wind component is very weak. Above all, the atmospheric tidal DE2 and DE3 patterns are important factors of the ionospheric WN3 and WN4 structures.

Abstract: In the virtual network environment, the C2C e-commerce has some problems in product quality, service, credit speculation. At present the credit appraisal system offered by domestic C2C e-commerce website ensures the network security to a certain extent while it has some problems in identity verification, evaluation rules and model, credit of buyers and sellers and so on. Focused on the largest national C2C shopping website—Taobao, this article mainly analyzes the present situations and problems of the credit appraisal system, puts forward some improved suggestions of the real-name authentication, credit and transaction appraisal rules and so forth, and then establishes improved credit appraisal system.

Abstract: To evaluate the potential benefit of Synofit—an association of Curcumin, Perna canaliculus green-mussels and blackcurrant leaf extracts, a real life open study was performed among 86 adult out patients suffering from Fibromyalgia (n = 22), low back pain (n = 33) or knee osteoarthritis (n = 31) who accepted to take 3 tablets a day during 1 week then 2 capsules of Synofit during 2 months in addition to their conventional therapy (mainly analgesics and anti-inflammatory) and then to report their evaluation of this complementary treatment. Statistical analysis included paired t test and when possible Wilcoxon signed rank test. Accordingly, the intermediate analysis showed that already within 4 weeks of treatment, an improvement quoted as “light” was statistically reported in patients with low back pain and knee osteoarthritis but not among those with fibromyalgia on pain, physical condition, global assessment of a benefit, quality of life but not on joint stiffness (although joint stiffness considered for the whole group was statistically improved). The limited number of patients and time duration of the study and the absence of double blind controlled study do not allow concluding on the efficacy but these preliminary analyses obtained from an intermediate analysis are encouraging for further studies.

Abstract: This paper analyzes the impact of risk aversion and retailer’s cost lied factor on supply chain decision-making in a hybrid channel supply chain system consisting of a risk-averse manufacturer and a retailer. According to the expected utility maximization theory, this paper gets the optimal decision of the manufacturer and retailer. First, it analyzes the impact of risk aversion factor on pricing decisions of supply chain members when the information of the retailer’s cost is public. Next, this paper considers the fact that the retailer has advantages on cost information, analyzes the relations between the retailer’s optimal cost lied factor and each parameter.
Registration of Brain MRI/PET Images Based on Adaptive Combination of Intensity and Gradient Field Mutual Information

Abstract: Traditional mutual information (MI) function aligns two multimodality images with intensity information, lacking spatial information, so that it usually presents many local maxima that can lead to inaccurate registration. Our paper proposes an algorithm of adaptive combination of intensity and gradient field mutual information (ACMI). Gradient code maps (GCM) are constructed by coding gradient field information of corresponding original images. The gradient field MI, calculated from GCMs, can provide complementary properties to intensity MI. ACMI combines intensity MI and gradient field MI with a nonlinear weight function, which can automatically adjust the proportion between two types MI in combination to improve registration. Experimental results demonstrate that ACMI outperforms the traditional MI and it is much less sensitive to reduced resolution or overlap of images.

Abstract: The structure and ground state electronic structure of the recently synthesized SrPdO$_3$ perovskite [A. Galal {\em et al.}, J. Power Sources, {\bf 195}, 3806 (2010)] have been studied by means of screened hybrid functional and the GW approximation with the inclusion of electron-hole interaction within the test-charge/test-charge scheme. By conducting a structural search based on lattice dynamics and group theoretical method we identify the orthorhombic phase with $P_{nma}$ space group as the most stable crystal structure. The phase transition from the ideal cubic perovskite structure to the $P_{nma}$ one is explained in terms of the simultaneous stabilization of the antiferrodistortive phonon modes $R_4^+$ and $M_3^+$. Our results indicate that SrPdO$_3$ exhibits an insulating ground state, substantiated by a GW$_0$ gap of about 1.1 eV. Spin polarized calculations suggests that SrPdO$_3$ adopts a low spin state ($t_{2g}^{\uparrow\downarrow\uparrow\downarrow\uparrow\downarrow}e_g^0$), and is expected to exhibit spin excitations and spin state crossovers at finite temperature, analogous to the case of 3$d$ isoelectronic LaCoO$_3$. This would provide a new playground for the study of spin state transitions in 4$d$ oxides and new opportunity to design multifunctional materials based on 4$d$ $P_{nma}$ building block.
