Abstract: We present a scheme to control the entanglement sudden birth and death in cavity quantum electrodynamics system, which consists of two noninteracting atoms each locally interacting with its own vacuum field, by applying and adjusting classical driving fields.

Abstract: The dynamic implicit curve/surface reconstruction demands no special requirement on the initial shapes in general. In order to speed up the iteration in the reconstruction, we discuss how to specify the initial shapes so as to reflect the geometric information and the topology structure of the given data. The basic idea is based on the combination of the distance function and the generalized eigenvector fitting model. Microstructure and Tribological Properties of Ti5Si3 Coating In-situ Synthesized on Titanium Substrate by Laser Cladding

Abstract: Using silicon powder as the precursor to improve the wear resistance of Ti5Si3 coating was in situ successfully synthesized on Ti substrate by laser cladding. Friction and wear behavior of Ti5Si3 coatings under different normal loads and sliding speeds wear test conditions were evaluated using a UMT-2MT friction and wear tester. It is found that the prepared coating is mainly composed of Ti5Si3 and Ti phases. The high resolution transmission electron microscopy results confirm further the existence of Ti5Si3 compound in the prepared coating. Ti5Si3 coating has spherical and block-like microstructure. The Ti5Si3 coating shows a high average hardness of approximately 840 HV0.2, which is about 4.4 times as that of Ti substrate. Tribological properties of the prepared Ti5Si3 coating were systematically evaluated. It is found that the Ti5Si3 coating can improve the wear resistance of Ti. The wear mechanism of Ti5Si3 coating is abrasive and adhesive wear when sliding against GCr15 steel ball under all wear conditions.

Abstract: We investigate a two-level atom coupled to a cavity with a strong classical driving field in a dissipative environment and find an analytical expression of the time evolution density matrix for the system. The analytical density operator is then used to study the entanglement between the atom and cavity by considering the competing process between the atom-field interactions and the field-environment interactions. It is shown that there is an optimal interaction time for generating atom-cavity entanglement.

Abstract: We investigate the entanglement dynamics and purity of a two-level atom, which is additionally driven by a classical field, interacting with a coherent field in a dissipative environment. It is shown that the amount of entanglement and the purity of the system can be improved by controlling the classical field.

Abstract: We investigate the entanglement dynamics of a quantum system consisting of two-level atoms interacting with vacuum or thermal fields with classical driving fields. We find that the entanglement of the system can be improved by adjusting the classical driving field. The influence of the classical field and the purity of the initial state on the entanglement sudden death is also studied. It is shown that the time of entanglement sudden death can be controlled by the classical driving fields. Particularly, the entanglement sudden death phenomenon will disappear if the classical driving fields are strong enough.
The continual presence of C3d but not IgG glomerular capillary deposition in stage I idiopathic membranous nephropathy in patients receiving corticosteroid treatment

Abstract: 74 MN-I patients with electron microscopy proven MN-I were examined by immunoperoxidase staining of C3d. Intensive C3d staining was present in glomerular capillary like the staining pattern of IgG and C3 in MN-I. Importantly, in 40 MN-I patients who underwent corticosteroid treatment at biopsy the intensity and glomerular capillary pattern of C3d staining remained largely intact while the staining for IgG had substantially reduced and the pattern of glomerular capillary staining became unrecognizable.C3d glomerular capillary staining may be a novel marker for pathologic diagnosis of MN-I that is continuously present at biopsy in patient who has received corticosteroid treatment.The virtual slide(s) for this article can be found here: http://www.diagnosticpathology.diagnomx.eu/vs/2120780075734479 webcitePathologic diagnosis of stage I idiopathic membranous nephropathy (MN-I) requires electron microscopy since the disease exhibits minimal glomerular change under optical microscopy. However, in clinical practice, it is not uncommon that biopsy materials are not sufficient to process for electron microscopy. Immunofluorescence or immunoperoxidase staining for immunoglobulin G (IgG) and complement 3 (C3), which show a typical pattern of capillary staining for membranous nephropathy (MN), has been recommended in the absence of electron microscopy to help for differential and final diagnosis. The problem is that corticosteroid treatment usually have been initiated in most of patients before biopsy and the treatment often quickly leads to substantial decrease or disappear of immune depositions of IgG and C3. Thus, it is important to find another immune deposit marker that shows the same capillary pattern as IgG and C3 in MN, but remains detectable at biopsy even patients have started corticosteroid therapy. Abstract: 用MonteCarlo模拟(MC)方法对超薄膜外延生长过程进行了计算机模拟。模型中引入Morse势描述粒子间的相互作用,考虑粒子的沉积、吸附粒子的扩散和蒸发三个过程。研究了粒子间相互作用范围a和允许粒子行走的最大步数对薄膜生长形貌的影响。结果表明:在不同的a值下,随粒子行走数的增加,薄膜的生长经历了从分散、分形、混合到团聚的过程;其中a=6时,基本观察不到粒子的分散生长过程;a值越小且粒子街步数越小的情况下,薄膜越易趋向于分散生长。
