Abstract: In the title compound, C19H18O5, the ester group is twisted with respect to the acetylsalicylic acid and eugenol rings at dihedral angles of 22.48 (2) and 81.07 (1)°, respectively. The dihedral angle between the two benzene rings is 60.72 (1)°. The crystal packing exhibits no significantly short intermolecular contacts.
Effect of aging temperature on the microstructures and mechanical properties of ZG12Cr9Mo1Co1NiVNbNB ferritic heat-resistant steel

Abstract: The effect of aging on the mechanical properties and microstructures of a new ZG12Cr9Mo1Co1NiVNbNB ferritic heat resistant steel was investigated in this work to satisfy the high steam parameters of the ultra-supercritical power plant. The results show that the main precipitates during aging are Fe(Cr, Mo)23C6, V(Nb)C, and (Fe2Mo) Laves in the steel. The amounts of the precipitated phases increase during aging, and correspondingly, the morphologies of phases are similar to be round. Fe(Cr, Mo)23C6 appears along boundaries and grows with increasing temperature. In addition, it is revealed that the martensitic laths are coarsened and eventually happen to be polygonization. The hardness and strength decrease gradually, whereas the plasticity of the steel increases. What’s more, the hardness of this steel after creep is similar to that of other 9%–12%Cr ferritic steels. Thus, ZG12Cr9Mo1Co1NiVNbNB can be used in the project.
GTPase regulator associated with the focal adhesion kinase (GRAF) transcript was down-regulated in patients with myeloid malignancies

Abstract: The expression levels of GRAF transcript were determined in 94 patients using real-time quantitative PCR (RQ-PCR). Clinical and laboratory data of these patients were collected and analyzed.The significantly decreased level of GRAF transcript was observed in three myeloid malignancies compared to controls. Within AML, there was no difference in the level of GRAF transcript among different FAB subtypes (P > 0.05). Difference was not observed in the amount of GRAF mRNA between CML at chronic phase and controls. As CML progressed, GRAF transcript significantly decreased. In MDS, three cases with 5q deletion had lower GRAF transcript than four without 5q deletion (median 0.76 vs 2.99) (P > 0.05).our results demonstrate that the GRAF transcript is decreased in myeloid malignancies.Focal adhesion kinase (FAK), a non-receptor tyrosine kinase that resides at the sites of integrin clustering [1], plays an important role in the modulation of cell growth, proliferation, survival and migration [2]. Recently, FAK has been found to be overexpressed and/or constitutively activated and correlated with increased motility, invasiveness, and proliferation of neoplastic cells of various tissue types [2]. Two published articles revealed that aberrant expression of FAK was observed in CD34+ leukemic cells and associated with enhanced blast migration, increased cellularity and poor prognosis [3,4]. Le et al showed that FAK silencing inhibited leukemogenesis in BCR/ABL-transformed hematopoietic cells [5]. Tyner et al also identified FAK as one of therapeutic molecular targets in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) [6].FAK protein is composed of an N-terminal FERM domain, a central kinase domain, and a C-terminal domain that includes the focal adhesion targeting (FAT) sequence responsible for FAK's localization to focal adhesions. A Non-Biological Method for Screening Active Components against Influenza Virus from Traditional Chinese Medicine by Coupling a LC Column with Oseltamivir Molecularly Imprinted Polymers

Abstract: To develop a non-biological method for screening active components against influenza virus from traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) extraction, a liquid chromatography (LC) column prepared with oseltamivir molecularly imprinted polymer (OSMIP) was employed with LC-mass spectrometry (LC-MS). From chloroform extracts of compound TCM liquid preparation, we observed an affinitive component m/z 249, which was identified to be matrine following analysis of phytochemical literatures, OSMIP-LC column on-line of control compounds and MS/MS off-line. The results showed that matrine had similar bioactivities with OS against avian influenza virus H9N2 in vitro for both alleviating cytopathic effect and hemagglutination inhibition and that the stereostructures of these two compounds are similar while their two-dimensional structures were different. In addition, our results suggested that the bioactivities of those affinitive compounds were correlated with their chromatographic behaviors, in which less difference of the chromatographic behaviors might have more similar bioactivities. This indicates that matrine is a potential candidate drug to prevent or cure influenza for human or animal. In conclusion, the present study showed that molecularly imprinted polymers can be used as a non-biological method for screening active components against influenza virus from TCM.
In silico analysis and verification of S100 gene expression in gastric cancer

Abstract: Combined with analysis of series analysis of gene expression, virtual Northern blot and microarray data, the expression levels of S100 family members in normal and malignant stomach tissues were systematically investigated. The expression of S100A3 was further evaluated by quantitative RT-PCR.At least 5 S100 genes were found to be upregulated in gastric cance by in silico analysis. Among them, four genes, including S100A2, S100A4, S100A7 and S100A10, were reported to overexpressed in gastric cancer previously. The expression of S100A3 in eighty patients of gastric cancer was further examined. The results showed that the mean expression levels of S100A3 in gastric cancer tissues were 2.5 times as high as in adjacent non-tumorous tissues. S100A3 expression was correlated with tumor differentiation and TNM (Tumor-Node-Metastasis) stage of gastric cancer, which was relatively highly expressed in poorly differentiated and advanced gastric cancer tissues (P < 0.05).To our knowledge this is the first report of systematic evaluation of S100 gene expressions in gastric cancers by multiple in silico analysis. The results indicated that overexpression of S100 gene family members were characteristics of gastric cancers and S100A3 might play important roles in differentiation and progression of gastric cancer.Gastric cancer is the second most common cause of cancer death worldwide. Abstract: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the treatment efficacy of 1% doramectin injection against nematode in swine infected naturally in China and determine dosage regimen of doramectin in swine. A controlled clinical study was conducted on 200 swine infected with nematode naturally in Lanzhou. The tested groups included doramectin 400, 300 and 150 μg kg-1 by IM, ivermectin 300 μg kg-1 by SC as drug control group and blank control group. The results showed the efficacy against nematode of high dosage doramectin (400 μg kg-1) was significantly difference from middle and low dosage group (p<0.05) and was significantly difference from control ivermectin group (p<0.01). The persistent period of nematocidal with high, middle and low dosage were 28, 28 and 21 days, respectively. The body weight gain of high, middle dosage doramectin and ivermectin group were significantly difference from the low dosage doramectin and untreated control (p<0.05 and p<0.01). So, the recommended dosage regimen of doramectin against swine s nematode was 300 μg kg-1 body weights by IM for once administration of medicine.

Abstract: A novel method is proposed to suppress the frequency chirp of single-driver z-cut Mach--Zehnder modulators. Theoretical analysis shows that by multiplying the output pulses of a half clock frequency driving single-driver z-cut modulator with the one delayed odd multiple bit duration, the frequency chirp can be removed entirely, and return-to-zero (RZ) pulses with duty cycles of about 25% and 56% are obtained. An experimental scheme is proposed to validate the proposed method. The experimental results show that perfect 40GHz zero-chirp RZ pulses can be obtained by using this scheme.

Abstract: Pure culture of Phlebopus portentosus was inoculated in the roots of coffee tree. The results indicated that the young fruit bodies would come out around the rhizomes of host tree after inoculation in 30 to 90 days, single or cluster, 3 to 4 days for mature, weight 20.0 g to 62.0 g. Brown rhizomorph and hyphae can be seen on the seedlings`rhizome, main root and side root while nothing is on the tip of the root.It was found that rhizomorph on the surface of roots would die after inoculation in 90 days in pot.

Abstract: 根据GenBank报道的双子叶植物线粒体atp6和atp9基因编码区保守序列设计简并引物,通过PCR技术从苎麻细胞质雄性不育系、保持系和恢复系(简称“三系”)mtDNA中扩增目的基因片段,发现所得序列开放阅读框虽不完整,但与GenBank报道的其他植物线粒体atp6和atp9基因同源性分别高于94%和85%。采用DNA Walking步移法分别从3′端和5′端扩增两个基因片段的未知侧翼序列,分离出完整的苎麻线粒体atp6和atp9基因,包含了完整的开放阅读框。其中“三系"的atp6基因在mtDNA水平、转录和翻译调控水平、蛋白质水平上均无差异。不育系atp9基因在编码区3′端与保持系和恢复系相比存在若干个碱基的差异和缺失;RT-PCR分析还表明,不育系atp9基因在现蕾期和盛花期的表达量很高。推测不育系atp9基因的结构变异和/或异常表达与苎麻细胞质雄性不育(CMS)的关系密切。
