Pea Cedillo,Jesús;
Interciencia , 2003,
Abstract: the phenomenon of innovation and the necessary transformation of its traditional approach from economic sciences are discussed. the main characteristics of innovation?s evolution are identified and it is shown that neoclassic economics does not provide adequate tools to study this phenomenon nor to derive practical actions to guide it. under this approach, it is maintained that the abandonment of some of the dearest neoclassical pretensions, particularly that of a "unique and best" way to manage economic processes, has a crucial consequence for governments: intervention policies to promote innovation can, and should, be supported by richer and more comprehensive arguments than those suggested by neoclassic economics. as a counterpart, it is shown how institutionalist and evolutionist approaches applied to economics can become the fundamental nucleus of a new way to conceive innovation, with the capacity to derive new and more adequate solutions to this processes in the contemporary world. specific proposals of public policies for innovation, supported on these alternative approaches, are presented.

Abstract: it discusses why scientific knowledge prevalence on western societies live has to be put under questioning. from this perspective, it describes others kinds of understandings, ones having an importance that must be highlighted for purposes of avoiding excess from science exclusivity. finally, it develops a ?weak critics? about such scientific knowledge superiority on others ones, and a ?strong critics? on same issue.

FIELDWORK AND GEOGRAPHICAL COMPETENCES AS A WAY TO MOTIVATE THE STUDY OF GEOGRAPHY: APPLICATION IN A SECONDARY SCHOOL GROUP
José Jesús Delgado Pea,Jesús Rodrigo Comino
Didáctica Geográfica , 2012,
Abstract: The experience carried out in the 2nd course of General Certificate of Secondary Education (Bachillerato) is introduced to pretend to stimulate the students to take a University Degree in Geography starting from the premise that they do not know exactly which job opportunities and work instruments the profession has. This experience is based on the analysis about a space near to the high school consisting of a lesson in the classroom and a field work. The process and the prepared materials are explained and an assessment based on site records filled by the students is carried out.

Blanco,Jesús M; Pea,Francisco;
Información tecnológica , 2011, DOI: 10.4067/S0718-07642011000400003
Abstract: this paper presents a proposal for using the latent heat of the steam condensed in an economizer used to preheat the feeding water to the steam generator, with the aim of increasing the efficiency of thermal power plants. a novel methodology applied to power plants producing over 350 mw power plants and that use natural gas is developed. also, a detailed study of the different alternatives proposed is presented and their direct effects on the economic feasibility have been evaluated. increases up to 0.6 % in the global efficiency are obtained, besides short return investment periods, depending on the annual effective working hours of the power plant.
Obtención del Valor Real de las Pérdidas de Difícil Evaluación, Aplicables al Cálculo del Rendimiento de Calderas
Blanco,Jesús M; Pea,Francisco;
Información tecnológica , 2006, DOI: 10.4067/S0718-07642006000300018
Abstract: a study to obtain the real value of difficult-evaluation heat losses applied to the calculation of boiler efficiency is presented. a conventional value of 1 % over the gross caloric value of the fuel was assigned to each fuel. the proposed method allows to accurately determining these losses and is suitable for any type of fuel. for the study, both natural gas and fuel-oils (number 2 and low sulphur content fuel respectively) were selected. the conventional value of 1% over the gross caloric value has been useful to compare boiler efficiency as demonstrated in this work.

Sector industria*
Morales,Juan Antonio; Pea Carrillo,Adolfredo de Jesús;
Innovar , 2004,
Abstract: the present investigation proposes characterising the business industrial sector profile of the 100 best companies in cartagena from working cultures. business profiles are the point of departure for determining where they are found and where companies should be being directed and, in turn, allow alternative wage and/or compensation strategies to be visualised.
