Abstract:
Given a set of differential equations describing blood alcohol content as a function time, we integrated the equations to obtain a general solution. The general solution equation depends on three free parameters: the initial concentration of alcohol in the stomach after ingestion, the rate of alcohol absorption into the blood stream and the rate at which the alcohol is metabolized by the liver. We fitted our solution to experimental data to determine the unknown parameters for a particular subject.

Abstract:
The Classical Twin Paradox is widely dealt in literature and neatly resolved. In addition, it is also well known that, when looking at two systems which are boosted relative to each other, the concept of the simultaneous effect of a quantum measurement in space-time causes some discrepancies in the cause-effect behavior. However, these discrepancies have been thought not to cause any apparent paradox except for violating the Free-Will postulate. In this paper we suggest that using the local t axis, all over space, as the axis in which the quantum measurement is thought to be simultaneous, we do reach a kind of true "Twin Paradox". The resolution of this paradox requires the introduction of a global proper time into a covariant quantum theory.

Abstract:
A single-mirror small-size (1M-SST) Davies-Cotton telescope has been proposed for the southern observatory of the Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA) by a consortium of scientific institutions from Poland, Switzerland, and Germany. The telescope has a 4 m diameter reflector and will be equipped with a fully digital camera based on Geiger avalanche photodiodes (APDs). Such a design is particularly interesting for CTA because it represents a very simple, reliable, and cheap solution for a SST. Here we present the design and the characteristics of the mechanical structure of the 1M-SST telescope and its drive system. We also discuss the results of a finite element method analysis in order to demonstrate the conformance of the design with the CTA specifications and scientific objectives. In addition, we report on the current status of the construction of a prototype telescope structure at the Institute of Nuclear Physics PAS in Krakow.

Abstract:
The electric Aharonov-Bohm effect is a special case of the general Ab effect. However, when inserting a gravitational potential in the place of the time dependent potential, a different understanding of the phase shift could be gained. The usual topological phase is replaced by a phase with origin in the red shift of the particle at one of the paths taken relative to the other path. In this case, the change in the geometrical measure is the source of the phase shift, which therefore has a local interpretation along with the non-local topological explanation.

Abstract:
Article deals with determination of circuit parameters of the traction load under non-sinusoidal conditions. The circuit parameters are defined by new integral transformation of measured non-sinusoidal voltage and current.

Abstract:
From the theologian Wilhelm Herrmann, who influenced both Rudolf Bultmann and Martin Heidegger comes the formulation that we can say about the God only as much as He did to and with us. In the article above I try to show that the same can be said about the human being and its idea: all we can atribute to it is what we have experienced. It means: a theologia experientiae implies an antropologia experientiae, a certain anthropology of experience and from an experience. I try to describe it in relation to the existential maieutics of Kierkegaard. What I claim is: a reliable idea of man is without such an existential maieutics not possible.

Abstract:
The automated text file categorization has an important place in computer engineering, particularly in the process called data management automation. A lot has been written about text classification and the methods allowing classification of these files are well known. Unfortunately most studies are theoretical and for practical implementation more research is needed. I decided to contribute with a research focused on creating of a classifier for different kinds of programs (source files, scripts…). This paper will describe practical implementation of the classifier for text files depending on file content.

Abstract:
The Fedosov deformation quantization on a cotangent bundle with a symplectic connection induced by some linear symmetric connection on the base space is considered. A global construction of the symplectic homogeneous connection on the cotangent bundle modelled on the linear symmetric connection from the base space is proposed. Examples of the induced symplectic connection are given. A detailed analysis of the Abelian connection and flat sections representing special types of functions for this kind of symplectic connection is presented. Some properties of the *-product determined by the induced symplectic connection are shown.

Abstract:
We propose a scheme for linear optical quantum Fredkin gate based on the combination of recently experimentally demonstrated linear optical partial SWAP gate and controlled-Z gates. Both heralded gate and simplified postselected gate operating in the coincidence basis are designed. The suggested setups have a simple structure and require stabilization of only a single Mach-Zehnder interferometer. A proof-of-principle experimental demonstration of the postselected Fredkin gate appears to be feasible and within the reach of current technology.
