Abstract: Este trabajo describe una propuesta de solución al problema de procesar n trabajos en m máquinas paralelas no relacionadas. Es un problema de asignación generalizado de orden lineal y tipo combinatorial que considera tiempos de montaje dependientes de la secuencia y entrada dinámica de trabajos. Se propone un algoritmo genético con codificación entera y conformación de la población, selección de padres, cruzamiento y mutación aleatorios. Hay dos descendientes por generación que compiten contra el peor elemento existente para entrar a la población. Se itera un número de generaciones proporcional al producto de nxm para obtener la solución En cada máquina se secuencian los trabajos por fecha de entrega y los tiempos computacionales son aceptables. Se concluye que el problema pudo ser solucionado mediante el algoritmo genético propuesto de forma eficaz y eficiente y que las soluciones se enfocan en reducir el tiempo de procesamiento y cumplimiento de fechas de entrega. This paper describes a solution method to the problem of processing n jobs on m non-related parallel machines. It is a linear and combinatorial generalized allocation problem that considered a sequence-dependent setup time and dynamic job entry. A genetic algorithm with integer coding and random generation of population, parent selection, crossover and mutation is proposed. There are two descendants per generation that are compared against the worst existing element to enter to population. After a number of generations that is proportional to the product of nxm the solution is generated. The jobs are sequenced on each machine by due date and computational times are acceptable. It is concluded that the proposed genetic algorithm is an effective and efficient solution that focuses on reducing processing time and on meeting deadlines.

Abstract: the aim of the work presented in this paper was to reduce makespan time and idle time, and to increase machine utilization, in job shop-open shop environment, using a new methodology based on evolutionary algorithms. the study was done in an enterprise of the metal-mechanics sector. the proposed methodology is easy to implement and apply and the results are highiy consistent, as shown by a variance analysis. the methodology allows reducing the total processing time by 33% and idle time by 51 % with 99% approximation with respect to the optimum solution.

Abstract: business processes sometimes need additional functions which can be reached through the use of services of the same domain or an external one. during this procedure, web services involved should be integrated in such a way that its individual functions can generate a global behavior. web-service choreography controls interaction sequences among services during integration process. this article shows an approach to modeling based on web-service choreography restrictions with the purpose of achieving its automation.

Abstract: El objetivo del trabajo que se presenta fue disminuir el tiempo de proceso y el tiempo muerto, y aumentar la utilización de las máquinas, en un ambiente Job Shop-Open Shop, usando una nueva metodología basada en un algoritmo evolutivo. El estudio se realizó en una empresa del sector metalmecánico. La metodología propuesta es fácil de replicar y los resultados obtenidos son altamente consistentes, como se demuestra con un análisis de varianza realizado. Con la metodología propuesta se logró reducir el tiempo total de proceso en un 33% y el tiempo muerto en un 51% con una aproximación del 99%, respecto a la solución óptima estimada. Abstract: Los procesos de negocio en ocasiones necesitan funcionalidades adicionales que pueden alcanzarse empleando servicios del mismo dominio o de uno externo. Durante este procedimiento, los servicios web involucrados deben integrarse, de tal forma que sus funcionalidades individuales generen un comportamiento global. La coreografía de servicios web controla la secuencia de las interacciones entre los servicios durante el proceso de integración. Este artículo presenta una aproximación al modelado basado en restricciones de la coreografía de servicios web, a fin de lograr su automatización. Abstract: this article presents a case study of a new production scheduling methodology applied on a manufacturing facility located on manizales, colombia, which combines make to stock (mts) and make to order (mto) environments. this implies to respond, using limited resources, to different, and sometimes opposite objectives, with negative impact on the service level. the proposed methodology uses group analytic hierarchy process ordering (gahpo) to develop a dispatching rule combining three priority criteria, that when it is compared with other three simple rules, through a discrete event simulation model, presents better performance in most of the selected measures of interest. the study allows concluding that for companies which operate under hybrid environments it is possible to reach equilibrium between market satisfaction and the utilization of available resources.

Abstract: Este artículo reporta la aplicación de una nueva metodología para la programación de producción en una planta industrial de la ciudad de Manizales (Colombia), en la cual se combinan los ambientes fabricación para inventario (MTS) y fabricación bajo pedido (MTO). Esto implica responder a objetivos diferentes, y en ocasiones opuestos, a partir de recursos limitados, con el consecuente impacto en el nivel de servicio. La metodología desarrollada, aplica el proceso analítico jerárquico de ordenación grupal (GAHPO), para construir una regla de secuenciación que combina tres criterios de priorización, que al ser comparada con tres reglas simples, mediante un modelo de simulación, presenta un desempe o superior en la mayoría de los indicadores seleccionados. El estudio permite concluir que es posible para empresas que operan bajo entornos de producción híbridos, lograr equilibrio entre la respuesta al mercado y la utilización de los recursos disponibles. Abstract: the web services choreography defined a global view of web services composition process. in this definition, components and diverse interactions are identified. the choreography can be defined keeping in mind its statics and dynamic aspects. the static view is defined by the functional order required by the compound service. the dynamic view is focused on the interactions among services, because through them, information is exchanged. this paper shows a modelling to the web services choreography to be solved based in constraints.

Abstract: La coreografía de servicios web se encarga de la definición de la vista global de un proceso de composición de servicios; en esta definición se identifica los componentes y sus distintas interacciones. La coreografía puede ser definida teniendo en cuenta sus aspectos estáticos y dinámicos. La vista estática está definida por el orden funcional requerido por el servicio compuesto. La vista dinámica se enfoca en las interacciones entre los servicios, ya que a través de estas se intercambia información. En este artículo se presenta un modelamiento a la coreografía de servicios web, con el fin de ser solucionada por medio de definición de restricciones. The web services choreography defined a global view of web services composition process. In this definition, components and diverse interactions are identified. The choreography can be defined keeping in mind its statics and dynamic aspects. The static view is defined by the functional order required by the compound service. The dynamic view is focused on the interactions among services, because through them, information is exchanged. This paper shows a modelling to the web services choreography to be solved based in constraints.
Metodología integral soportada en simulación para el mejoramiento de sistemas de producción Job Shop. Aplicaciones en pymes metalmecánicas

Abstract: metalworking companies represent one of the strategic sectors in the regional economy of the caldas department in colombia; in fact, this sector is involved in 31% of the department′s industrial establishments and 29% of industrial employment according to dane (colombian state statistical department) statistical data from 2005. the sector also exports to andean countries. however, preliminary studies conducted with 57% of the entrepreneurs from this sector (excluding micro companies and family businesses) have revealed serious structural (technology, processing, installations) and infrastructure weaknesses (production planning, quality systems) in these organisations′ production systems. it is hoped that this paper will lead to disseminating the results amongst the academic community of implementing a comprehensive methodology for improving the production system of a pilot company from this particular sector. an experimental framework for improving the levels reached by the system regarding such priorities is proposed following universally accepted methodology in discrete simulation studies; it proposes using sequential bifurcation, factorial design and response surface experimentation based on defining and weighting the competing priorities which the company should achieve. the improvements in the pilot company′s production system priorities are presented in terms of an effectiveness index (ei) which rose from 1.84 to 2.46 by the end of the study.
