Two-Dimension Path Planning Method Based on Improved Ant Colony Algorithm  [PDF]

Abstract: Nowadays, path planning has become an important field of research focus. Considering that the ant colony algorithm has numerous advantages such as the distributed computing and the characteristics of heuristic search, how to combine the algorithm with two-dimension path planning effectively is much important. In this paper, an improved ant colony algorithm is used in resolving this path planning problem, which can improve convergence rate by using this improved algorithm. MAKLINK graph is adopted to establish the two-dimensional space model at first, after that the Dijkstra algorithm is selected as the initial planning algorithm to get an initial path, immediately following, optimizing the select parameters relating on the ant colony algorithm and its improved algorithm. After making the initial parameter, the authors plan out an optimal path from start to finish in a known environment through ant colony algorithm and its improved algorithm. Finally, Matlab is applied as software tool for coding and simulation validation. Numerical experiments show that the improved algorithm can play a more appropriate path planning than the origin algorithm in the completely observable.
Efficient Knowledge Base Management in DCSP

Abstract: DCSP (Distributed Constraint Satisfaction Problem) has been a very important research area in AI(Artificial Intelligence). There are many application problems in distributed AI that can be formalized asDSCPs. With the increasing complexity and problem size of the application problems in AI, the requiredstorage place in searching and the average searching time are increasing too. Thus, to use a limitedstorage place efficiently in solving DCSP becomes a very important problem, and it can help to reducesearching time as well. This paper provides an efficient knowledge base management approach based ongeneral usage of hyper-resolution-rule in consistence algorithm. The approach minimizes the increasing ofthe knowledge base by eliminate sufficient constraint and false nogood. These eliminations do not changethe completeness of the original knowledge base increased. The proofs are given as well. The exampleshows that this approach decrease both the new nogoods generated and the knowledge base greatly. Thusit decreases the required storage place and simplify the searching process.

Abstract: Due to the power limitation of nodes in wire-less sensor networks (WSNs), how to maximize network lifetime has become a critical issue for deployment of WSNs. Although several schemes have been proposed for 2D WSNs, few for 3D WSNs are known. In this paper, we present a scheme to maximize network lifetime for 3D WSNs through balancing energy consumption, as an extension of the existing scheme for 2D WSNs proposed recently [1]. Same as [1], we formulate the energy consumption balancing problem as an problem of optimal distribution of transmitting data by combining the techniques of sphere-corona based network division, mixed-routing and data aggregation. We first present a Tiled-block based routing scheme in order to balance energy consumption among nodes in each sphere-corona. Then we design an algorithm to compute the optimal distribution ratio of transmitting data between direct and hop-by-hop transmission, with the purpose of balancing energy consumption among nodes across different sphere-coronas. We show maximizing network lifetime through computing the optimal number of sphere-coronas. Afterwards a energy consumption balanced data collecting protocol (ECBDC) is designed and a solution to extend ECBDC to largescale WSNs is also presented. Simulaiton results show that ECBDC is superior to conventional direct and multihop transmission schemes in network lifetime.

Abstract: Nowadays, globalization increases the integration between countries, leading to the emergence of a global marketplace or a single world market. And, no country or region can develop in self-seclusion. The financial crisis is unprecedented because it comes at a time of radically increased interdependence. What is more, financial turmoil is contagious, moving rapidly from one country to another and spreading very quickly from one economic sector to many others. Since the reform and opening up, China has made remarkable economic achievements. Especially in the economic globalization trend, the financial sector has developed rapidly and its influence on economy is also growing fast. However, along with the rapid development of economy and the outbreak of financial crisis, economic factors play an important role in modern society. Due to the influence of the current global financial and economic crisis, efforts to reach health-related MDGs are confronted with daunting challenges. Public health departments of all countries are faced with increased demand for their services(Liu Zhenmin,2009), the risk of lower services quality, contraction of financial resources as well as a higher risk of a “brain drain” of health professionals. Hence, this paper aims to analyze the impact of the global recession on the health of people in the Chinese mainland and sum up a series of measures to ensure the steady growth of national economy and safeguard the social harmony and stability.

Abstract:

Chorioangioma is a tumor of vascular placental origin, the most frequent among primary placental non-trophoblastic tumors; however, it is found in about 1% of placental pathology case studies. Most of the chorioangiomas found are small, asymptomatic lesions that are only found postnatally after careful slicing of the placenta[1]. Larger tumors, particularly those measuring more than 4 cm, are rarely seen in obstetric practice but are clinically significant. In this case report, we will show you the premature with large chorioangioma and we will tell the treatment we take to cure the baby successfully.

Abstract: In this paper, we develop statistical inference for an important health inequality index proposed by Lv, Wang and Xu [1] for ordinal data. Asymptotic distributions of the indices are established. This allows us to make inference for the indices. Generalizations of the indices to multiple population setting are also studied. We demonstrate the effectiveness of our procedure using the health inequality data of several areas in Switzerland, and our results classify these areas into three classes based on their health inequalities.

Abstract: With the advent of optical fiber and other advanced technologies in solid state,pipelining signals at the wire(or transmission line)level has becomr possible.This has,in turn,made the slotted bus a potential candidate for interconnection networks(IN)for tightly coupled multiprocessor systems.However,a bus an provide only limited bandwidth.Though slotted bus can provide considerably more bandwith in comparison to the traditional non-slotted bus,it is not enough for fine-grain parallel applications run on the shared-memory systems.One well known method to increase the effective bandwidth of a slotted bus in the LAN/MAN environment is to reuse the bandwwidth by reusing slots.However,in a tightly coupled environment reusing slots is not a lucrative option because the significant buffering needs arising from slot reuse will introduce intolerable delay.In this paper we propose a methodology to reuse part of the bandwith available from temporal and spectral bandwidth expansion with none of minimum buffering delay,resulting in significant performance improvement in both the effective throughput and response time(communication latency).The proposed method entails the design and analysis of a re-configurable bus structure with both temporal and spectral bandwidth expansion and a polynomial time algorithm for optimal configurations for given traffic conditionslWe have compared the performance of our reconfigured bus with that of the traditional slotted bus for uniform and localized traffic pattern and founr that the reconfigured bus outperforms the traditional slotted bus substantially in many practical scenarios.
